Has anyone else read this great manga? Hirano's artwork is some of the best I have ever seen and the story and characters are dark, bloody and plain fun. This manga is tied for my favorite all time with Battle Royale.

i havent read too much of the manga and i watched a couple episodes of the anime nd i liked it...the story is deep nd the characters are cool

I recommend watching more of the manga, it only gets better.
BTW, there is a Hellsing anime remake, called Hellsing Ultimate, which tells the story of the manga and doesn't deviate after several eps. like the origial series. It is REALLY good.

Yea. Hellsing Ultimate has very good quality animation, and follows the manga closer, I read a bit of the Hellsing manga and it is pretty good.

I'm a big fan of the series. I'm not-so-up-to-date on the manga. Just need to view the latest chapters. But other than that, I've pretty much read the whole series so far. I love it. This is a great series with a good story and deep character development. Just...awesome.

The TV series is totally overrated.

Simply out, comparing the series to the manga is like comparing LoveLove to...say Cowboy Bebop. Its like comparing shit to Italian Food. Big difference...

Personally, I'm a Hellsing fan, and am seriously looking forward to the OVA thats currently in production. First two episodes seemed faithful enough to the manga, I just hope it continues. I

I just hope it doesn't turn into the crap that the series turned into...

I really enjoyed reading the first volume of the Hellsing manga. It was different from the anime, which is great. The anime was good and everything, but doesn't compare to the manga. Now all I must do is get off my ass and pick up volume two.

Yea, and the next Hellsing Ultimate OVA is due out some time in feburary, with Pip and all in it. So I'm pretty excited and the last two OVAS were pretty damn good in quality.

Anyway, thanks for the site master_aizen, I should be able to read what I havn't been able to on there.

I think it is only out in Japan so far. I looked on the offical site and they only got the first DVD on there. (US version) and they actually got it with English dub with Crispin Freeman back as Alucard.

yes, but this is the manga section. If you haven't read the manga, you should, it's a lot better than the anime.

Yes, although the new Hellsing Ultimate OVAs are truer to the manga than the first anime series. The manga is much better though, and if you havn't read it yet and are a fan of Hellsing you should check it out.

Hellsing is one of my favourite manga series. I've fallen a bit behind on the story, since I haven't downloaded any of the new chapters for a few months now, but I'm really looking forward to getting to read them all at once, once enough have accrued. ^__^

just download them d00d, i stopped buying after the first several mangas cuse it takes like years for a new one to come out, but individual chapters come out more frequently.

what happens in the last chapter (95):

No, Ophelia/Website Od says he tries, but Integra shoots him (like in an AxI fic pretty much). Seras comes in running (in her panties?). Integra begins to say (like the Queen) she's too old now, a "grandmother" (in age, apparently never married/had kid), Alucard said he's hungry after 30 years and Integra again insists she's too old, he waited too long, Alucard assures her it's fine with him/he doesn't mind this. She appears to concede something (?) bites her own finger and begins to feed him, they welcome themselves as they did back in volume 8. It ends here? Pretty ambiguous.

That's what the Impression and Ophelia claim. Not me, mind you. If this didn't happen, don't blame me, I'm just repeating what I read/was told about (which made me wonder where the characterization go-not the obvious romantic vibe, but the whole Alucard hates vampirism/wants to die and Integra never accepting this and now her only complain seems wanting Alucard sweat for leaving her for years. Oh, anyway... here's Hirano for you ._. ). We'll have to wait for the scans =D Either way, I'm happy to read old!Integra's as badass as she was young. What a woman.

Oh and Heinkel SURVIVED. She replaced Anderson like Seras replaced Alucard all these years, they are behind Integra/new Iscariot leader while they fence? (I think there's peace between the organizations).
