Which Hokage is better [Archive]

Which Hokage from all of the village's including the Hoskage (sp) is better at there job and protecting the village from harm. Orochimaru included since he is technicly the kage of Village hidden in the sound. I would think that the KazeKage or the HosKage would be the best Kage's because of the measures they took to keep thier village secure even If it ment using dangerous weapons and tools.

Best in what way? I think Tsunade may be the most useful that I've seen. She heals her villagers, she's a very capable fighter. If she wasnt afraid of blood she would have pwnt Oro already =)

She has now gotten over the fear of blood when naruto saved her I think. But tsunade is too much of a acholic to be the best. She allways wants to drink sake instead of doing her duties.

The 4th was a good hokage but since he gave he's son the gift of the kyubbi he lost some points with me. To give your own son a destiny that thy would not take upon thy own is a shame to man kind.

Well, I really like the 4th Hokage becasue he just simpl pwns..lol, but i just as well like the 1st hokage for being the one who helped to build Konoha along with his brother the second hokage, the 1st Hokage's moves were kool to becasue i like any moves that are based around nature.

No Im not saying that I'm simpley implaying that If he was his dad then why do that too him. Alot of people think that Yodiame is naruto's dad because of the thigns the character says.

Why is everyone saying the 4th? We only know tidbits about him and that he created the Rasengann (although unfinished).

And I think the 3rd was the best, he knew pretty much every technique :).

4th IS the best even stated by 3rd hokage. And for 3rd to call someone stronger than him has to be a force to reckon with. And judging by how the 1st and 2nd fought, if they appeared with 4th still in power when Orochimaru summoned them, he'd surely be able to beat them.

I think the 4th Hokage was the best fit, as he was old. And old people usually are a good image to run a village. BUT, in this case I prefer Yondaime. As someone rightfully said, he was prepared and did, die for the village. And I'm not saying the 4th wouldn't have done that either, but things turned out differently for him anyways.

Ook, having started reading Naruto mang again, I have to say that the best Hokage is the 4th, for now anyway. He's got the looks, he's got the attitude, he's got the strength.

Granny Tsunade is just a gambling ol' woman masqurading as a super-hot young woman with an evil attitude.

Yondaime is kinda like the ultimate shinobi - so dedicated to his village that he gave his life to protect it, and unlike the Sandaime, who, although he did the same, failed in the end (since Orochimaru is still alive), he suceeded.

ok I choose Yondaime because he did create the jutsu of the Reaper Death Seal, and you cannot deny that is not cool. although that jutsu may cost your life. it is very powerful in which it defeated Kyuub, the nine-tailed fox.

I'll go with Sandaime, Yondaime was just hax

Sandaime led the village for a long time, was a wise and compassionate leader plus probably the best all round ninja produced by the village. 4th could beat him I'm sure but thats only one aspect of many required of a leader. Yondaime probably would have eventually been better in all aspects than Sandaime, though leading for a short time before dying regardless if its for the village makes you a hero, not the best leader, as he didn't need to be the leader to do it.

Only thing I know about 1 & 2 is that they were indeed 1 & 2, and could use wood and water.

Well i really like the Fifth Hokage, but i don't think she had protected the village as much as the Third Hokage did, when he had sacraficed his life for the whole village, in order to keep it safe from Orochimaru.

I personally think Sarutobi was the best hokage. He may not have been the most powerful, but he was certainly great. His fight against Orochimaru was one of the best we have ever seen. Had he been in his prime, Orochimaru would have gotten his ass handed to him.

Well every Hokage was egarded as the best of their time, and was akknowledged because some fantastic ability none could do/do so good

Shodai: had the Mokuton Kekkei Genkai, Ability to control/suppress Bijuu and being the founder of Konohagakure village

Nidaime: his Ability with Suiton techniques, and being Co-founder of the village (to me he's the least impressive one)

Sandaime: Known for having known every technique that existed in Konoha (except perhaps The Flying Thunder god)

Yondaime: his flying thunder god technique, (perhaps) Rasengan and other (unknown) moves that he was good in (simply his supreme combat abilities) and his friendly and caring nature

Godaime: regarded as the BEST on medical ninjutu, posessing medical skills well known as feared in many other Shinobi countries

So it's more to pick the one with the skills U think are most special

Shodai was the founder of the villiage, and was the one to fight in the VOTE, forming Konoha. He has a unique ability to use wood jutsu's.

Nidaime was more powerful and more 'blood thirsty' then Shodai. He contributed majorly to Konoha's current power and size.

Sandaime was known as the "God of Shinobi", created the ninja academy, and was said to know every jutsu in Konoha.

Yondaime was called "The greatest ninja Konoha ever produced" by the "God of Shinobi" He defeated entire armies by himself with his Hirashin techniques, and enemies were told to immediatly run if they even saw him. This was before he even became Hokage.

Godaime is really strong. Hopefully she will do soemthign to match up with the other 4 before she passes.

Right now, i would put the order as Yondaime > Sarutobi > Nindaime > Shodai > Tsunade. (will probobly rise before the series ends)

The Yondaime seems so young and yeah he sealed the stupid fox, but so far I would say Sandaime, he fought against 2 dead hokages lol, that's quite impressive for being a lower-classed hokage.
