Recruiting Through The Academy

This is the new way you will recruit through the academy.

Step 1
- Students will graduate from the academy and gain access to this section (http://forums.bleachportal.net/forumdisplay.php?f=225), You guys should already see this section.

- There the applicants will see the graduate faq on how to apply for a division, I encourage you to read it as it applys to you guys as well.

Step 2
- Once the graduates thread is made, recruiting by the divisions will go in the order that they are on the Divisional Ladder.

So it should appear something like this

If the graduate accepts the first Invitation that is extend towards him/her then go to step 3, if it is decline then read on

I delcine your invitation


If the graduate declines the initial invitation that goes his/her way then the secodn invitation that they get posted in their thread by a div they either have to accept or go through the academy again.

If your the captain and a graduate has declined your invitation and it was your first pick you must wait untill the rest of the ladder has gone through their first picks and the order starts again to put your second pick somewhere.

Step 3

Right, You have the user that will be joining your div. From here on in it's pretty simple because it's what you already have. you send the user a pm telling them to apply for your divisional group with a 4 digit code that you make up for example

they put this code in the reason for applying for the group and then viola your recruit who has passed the academy course is in your divsion ready to work for you.

- As an extra security protocol to ensure that noone gets into a division without going through the academy first now when the student gets into the graduate section they recieve a new usergroup. This usergroup gives their username a markup at the start of "~" So if you look at your group join requests and a user doesn't have this "~" before their name then decline them and don't even bother reading the application.

Note

Any peopel found being recruited in a division that have not gone through the academy the captain will be held responsible and punishment will go ahead.

Now tell your members to GTFO out of the academy unless they are the staff.

Hmmm... It would be nice if each Division could have like, an "advertisement" or something of the sort. Something to put that would make members interested in their Divisions above others. Such as "19th Division is known for their programming" or "27th Division heads a vbBux 'bank' and is the accepted leader of the Club Bleach Stock Market report."

Each Div Can Create An "Advertisment" for their Division inside the graduate area..The divisions rules should be inside this advertisement but the only requirement for joining a division now is that the person complete the shinigami academy and thus you don't need to worry about the requirements to get in.

When each class is finalised a list of the people in it along with their three man teams will be given to each captain, You may use this to potentialy find out who the graduates will be.

The graduates currently don't know whether they've graduated or not so if this leaks out punishment will be handed out, But you the captains and vc's can go see the users quickly and check out them, All have been active for the past two weeks and have completed the training rather well that the academy gave them.

The 11th will start the recruiting however wait untill i've posted in this thread again to go into the graduates area and start your recruiting proccess as the gradautes need to make their threads first etc etc.

This post is a forewarning that it's soon to happen, very soon.
The 6th and the 9th arn't needed to recruit as they already have their members who were forced to go through the academy even though they had already been accepted.

Is there a priority for those graduates who want to join a specific division. Like... if someone wants to join 8th, a captain from 10th can't accept them?

Yes you do, But kayten is active and i sent the pm to all captains and vc's so you all know that its occuring.

But you all have to wait till all of the graduates have posted their threads.

What did the academy graduates have to go through during their training? Since I dont know any of them and their abilities, it'll be hard to make a decision on who to pick and their possible contributions. Also, with only 10 graduates and 11 divisions to pick, does it mean that one division will not be able to get anybody?

yea, the last div to pick wont get one unless one of the previous ones got their initial invitation refused.

And the graduates went through 6 contests, These contests involved the music style contests, the picture contests..Quote contests...etc..The contests were of course a bit easier then the ones in the gotei but still challenging.

Their final exam was on the gotei13 rules and a few forum rules...All graduates were also active the entire two weeks.

Yes its the principle behind the first and second pick scheme, this sort of thing occurs in nfl..

I gotta understand something. The Gotei have to wait weeks for their graduates, but what happens to the Espada/Vizored recruits? They just get whoever they want in?

Sounds a little unfair, unless of course there's something I'm unaware of.

Yep, the academy isn't for the espadas/vaizards.
If the Captain from those divisions (Z and Pylar) agrees with the application, then you're in.

That's a little unfair to the Gotei... members can leave their divisions and switch to the Espada/Vizored in no time, leaving the divisions almost empty, and the divisions will have to wait weeks before they get one new member.

How is that fair?

However i do know oen thing about it they're very busy at the moment trying to organise the whole thing it was very sudden with the annoucnement that they brought out, So just be patient for now. The recruits that come out of the academy are going to be well trained.

Yup. You can join us without being a division member or academy student.

Can you make it so that the Captains/VCs of the Gotei can see what goes on in the Academy? It'll be like scouting for recruits. Since most of the divisions are hit heavily by the Espadas/Vaizards "kidnapping", it'll be important for us to get back on our feet with some new well-trained recruits.

No maximum number. If we get 10 we will take 10. If we get 100 we will take 100. However the average is about 30. More than half dont make it simply because they dont do anything. Most leave the forum all together.

No...you dont seem to get it. The smallest divisions picking first does nothing for the numbers since the large divisions still actually get to pick! You would have the same results if you let the large divs pick first and the smaller ones after three days =/

We had 13 from this class and one left over from class 1. So all together I think 10th div took three members from two classes.
