ninja vs. shinigami

In the rules it is explained that shinigami and ninjas are equal; that ninjas can see shinigami.. I disagree, how can living ninjas see shinigami? How can Shinigami see ninjas? They can't see each other. The ultimate battle isn't pirate vs. ninja, but shinigami vs. ninja, for the pure fact that they can't see each other and each possesses amazing power. Is there a winner in all of this destruction? Can you pit two invincible anime/hero/superpowers against each other?

my influence leans toward the Shinigami because of the mere ferocity and fear involved in their attacks and strategy, however this is a very hard decision because the same could be said of the ninja

The rules are there because we all obviously know that shinigamis win the majority if not all of the battles in a VS thread. The rules are there to make the threads interesting and a place where members want to post.

Question:

Do you know why all these "ninja vs shinigami" threads are one-sided or pointless?

It's because we choose not use a bit of our imaginations and creativity. We don't try to see what would happen if we brought Bleach characters down to Naruto level or Naruto characters up to Bleach level.

In our eyes we see Naruto characters as humans and Bleach characters as someone with godly powers hence why "shinigami" means, from what I know, "death god". Correct me with I'm wrong. And because of that we don't accept the idea of "power of ninja = power of shinigami" from one of the rules (even though its very unbelieveable).

Now if we all can act in an unbias manner and act civilized then the "Naruto VS Bleach" threads will remain up and can be quite fun to post in. I would love for them to remain up because they are usually hot topics in the Anime Arena thread.

Oh, and on the topic of this pointless thread. If it were just regular ninjas, then the Shinigami would win. Obviously. Naruto ninjas would stand a chance, even if people here refuse to accept that. Bleach fan site, go figure.

What's been done a lot? Naruto vs Bleach? Yes. Every other thread is Naruto vs Bleach. And they are the worse match-ups ever. People don't think first.. Some of them can be good, but once again, it's a Bleach fan site, so..

but i remember seeing this one guy with the sand basket on his back from naruto, and if chad (or sado, not really sure which) had a chance against hollows, he definitely would.. (or that one freaky snake lady/man who put the curse on sasuke)
i think both anime (and prolly many other anime) portray the people as immortal and ever growing to accomplish the next goal.
which was why i put the fourth choice on the poll
however i was hoping there would be more creativity

You cant bring Bleach characters "down" to Naruto level. Its not fair to limit their powers like that.

Its one sided because yes, ninjas are flesh and blood humans with limits. Shinigami are souls with extreme longevity, much higher limits and have access to a power greater than chakra. Reiatsu can squash people just by having it released. Chakra cant do anything like that.

Its one sided because of the speed issue as well. Shunpo enable characters like Byakuya to travel 200m in the blink of an eye. It also allows people like Aizen to cover miles (or kilometres) of distance in a second. The day you can show me a Naruto character having the speed to do that or alternatively one who is able to cut millions and billions of blades in an instant is the day they will be ready to fight shinigami.

Its one sided because of SHOCK!!! The power issue. Mr Zaraki Kenpachi used just a tiny tiny bit of his reiatsu into his unnamed Zanpakotou and managed to slice an entire sky scraper like structure diagnolly in half in an instant. This was with a bare minimum of reiatsu. Nothing but a foolish power test. Can bloody Shikamaru, Chouji, Sakura, Ino, Sasuke, Naruto, Kakashi, Gai, Yamato, Sai, Any of Akatsuki or the Sanin's do that? If so can they do it easily and quickly? If so then they might live five seconds.

i like both tho.. and i haven't watched many anime
i think i started with rurouni kenshin. then fullmetal alchemist, now i watch a combo of these and naruto.. not periodically.. now im watching bleach on utube, so i don't know much about anime
but im terrible with names

i think arguments can be made for both sides
i was just choosing randomly when i said shinigami, i could have just as easily said the other. i honestly think choice 4 is the most rational because of the power possessed by both sides and the ability to grow accustomed to and surpass the others that anime as a whole possesses (and not just anime. the ability to change and get better is prevalent every where), once again, when i say ninja, it isn't limited to naruto.. the topic is pretty if not extremely broad

Do you not understand what is being typed in this one sided useless thread. You said naruto There not that many ninja animes therefore it isn't broad like you claim and you are not making any since and proveing that you are just ranting on and on.

I admit it's not fair to bring "down" characters powers to try and keep the threads open.

Because of the fact that their "speed and power" is the biggest controversial issue here between "Naruto and Bleach" threads, it's bringing "down" members who post against the odds of the lesser character winning and shunning them or saying that the topic is "pointless". I'm not targeting a single person, I'm speaking to everyone.

I think that versus threads are made to see your favorite characters or just characters you would like to see face off against each other. Aren't they? These threads are taken quite seriously. I'm not saying that they can't be taken seriously but they should also be something fun in a nonspamy way.

If you don't want to see anymore "Naruto vs Bleach" threads then feel free to pm me about it.
