I wonder if he means the background on the icon labels? All you need to do is have ClearType turned on, and my six year old PC does that. I mostly do it for the improvement in text rendering on the Internet and word processors.

- a number of other goodies

what u gotta do is stop protection programs before u run the installation, pick the features you want, and let it do its thing.

Where do you guys find all your nice anime wallpapers?Some people here make them themselves. The easiest way is to Google and you can come across a few sites like these (http://www.animewallpapers.com/) here (http://www.animepaper.net/). Some require you to register for a free account to download full resolution. Also some people get them from favorite artists' work in DeviantArt. You could always PM someone here and ask them politely to give you the original (w/o their icons and crap) wallpaper.

I have an acct but I cant see the wallies cause they say I have to donate or contribute somehow..I just registered -- and I could have sworn I already had an account with them -- and I can bring up the full rez images fine. No monies needed. Might just want to try a different site, some get posted to more than one.

If you're on Windows: Hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard. This will capture your screen to the clipboard. Now open Photoshop or any image editor, even Paint. Make a new document the same size as your screen and paste. Now resize if you wish and save in a compressed format like JPEG.

If you're on a Mac, do cmd-shift-3. This will take a screen shot and save it to a file on your machine automatically. The format will vary based on how you set the system preference. I think it defaults to PDF since OSX's UI is based on postscript. But you can set it to use JPEG, PICT, or even PNG instead.

Yea I'm using vtp.Oh i have SP2.But i downloaded and installed some separate widgets from those that come with VTP.

VTP widgets did not come with the calculator gadget,torrent search widget,wi fi gadget,cpu ram gadget,weather gadget,stickie gadget,system uptime gadget,mail gadget,run gaget,incoming transfer gadget, so i downloaded a thoose sidebar application with all of these gadgets and the vtp ones.I don't use all as you can see though because it crowds the desktop but i wanted to see what other gadgets they have.

oh...yea I also used the full version of thoosje's sidebar. the lite one on VTP doesn't rlly give you alot of features.

Well this new one doesn't need Windowblinds so I guess that's a plus...just hope the alternative isn't a resource hog.
