*!??What does Akatsuki really want with Naruto?!?*

I've been going over the manga in my mind and something doesn't quite sit right with me. It has to do with these three points

- Akatsuki is trying to get all the biiju.

- Naruto has one of the biiju. (he still has his)

- Orochimaru isn't actaully quite on good-terms with Akatsuki and actually he hates akatsuki and wants them stopped.

Now we get to the problems.

part 1 chapter 148

While departing Itachi says "With Naruto at his current level we have no need to worry."

This implies that Naruto is somehow different than the other biiju. After all, since they are just going to suck the biiju out of Naruto his power level is nwither here nor there. Unless they have something else in store for him and him alone.

part 1 chapter 168:

As Naruto is dying kyubi says "Why is it getting dark, why is my power fading?" implying that if Naruto dies, Kyuubi dies with him. In the same Chapter Orochimaru says "That boy doesn't look good...*I can't believe he has become this strong...If Akatsuki got their hands on this kid it would be trouble." and then tries to kill him -clearly indicating also that a dead Naruto would mean an end to the kyubi problem.

This again seems to suggest that Naruto's power level is something of relevance. Both Akatsuki and Oro seem bothered by it, yet why?

part 2 chapter 296:

Kabuto says "If we let you live you may kill of another Akatsuki member for us" Which is repeated by Orochimaru at the end.

1. So here's what I don't understand. Orochimaru is no fool. He probably knows what Akatsuki are up to and he knows that giving Naruto up to them would be a huge pain. YET, rather than polish off Naruto when he had the chance he decided to "let him live" in order to finish off an Akatsuki member or :
2. Orochimaru has to know that finishing off Naruto would be the quicker and easier method of messing up Akatsuki's plans. He certainly seemed to know it in part 1 but has since changed his mind. It's all very odd if you ask me.

Akatsuki should have no Problems if they are planning to take Naruto down before the time-skip, and even now (let's be honest) but it's like it NOT only about the kyuubi anymore.

Way back in the sannin fight Orochimaru was going to kill naruto, but his plans changed when he lost the fight, and decided to let naruto live in hopes of killing off some of the akatsuki quicker, and Itachi and kisame attempted to take naruto 3 times, but they were interupted all times

1.)Rescue Sasuke! cause there's hardly anymore time left
2.)Akatsuki 4th Attempt to capture the last Bijuu, Uzumaki Naruto/Kyuubi

Im also a little confused, but mostly on why Naruto if trying to "save" Sasuke

I think even if Sasuke somehow returns to Konoha he will still be in deep trouble. He has abandoned his country, and anybody who does that is considered a missing nin and immediatley put in the Bingo book for assasination (like what Sai was ordered to do with Sasuke) Also along with that he endangered other peoples lives, and he is aiding the BIGGEST threat known to konoha (orochimaru)

So why hasnt anybody told naruto that yet, after he has gone so far? only time can tell

and i also think the akatsuki will eventually obtain the kyuubi. there powers are ridiculous

This is something That WE ALL WANNA SEE HOW IT TURNS OUT !

I mean :
- Orochimaru's Time is running his current is already rejecting him
- Sasuke has hardly anytime left since Orochimaru's body is already rejecting him, Plus it's not yet clear if he want's ti take revenge him self (solo) or after he's given his body to Orochimaru
- Akatsuki WILL come after Naruto and I don't think failure is an option this time
- Then there's Naruto who's jutsu is 50% (stated in ch338 sorry for spoiling)complete and he still wants to save Sasuke!

It's kind of obvious that Akatsuki want Naruto because of the Kyuubi. Naturally, they want to use the power for their own purposes.

Let's try to remember that the Kyuubi is the strongest Bijuu, so when Itachi and Kisame fled stating that Naruto's level is nothing to worry about, he simply stated that they would be able to get him no problem if they came again. Orochimaru was astounded by Naruto, not by his strength, but by his mastery over the Rasengan. It took the 4th 3 YEARS, while Naruto only took a week. If naruto has the will power to learn things quickly, he could learn how to use his Jinchuriki skills to their max potentials in a short amount of time. Thats is why he would be dangerous to Akatski and Orochimaru alike.

I don't think we should be talkin about months anymore well maybe 1 month! but it seems to mee it's a mather of weeks now..can he become strong enough in these few last weeks!!!

well i mayb know why....if a monster(ex like kyubi and etc) can be seal on human body...then what happen if alll those monster seal only at one ppl body? it will make that ppl inivsible

Kyuubi has unlimited Chakra, don't forget. Naruto "at his current level" can't use that power properly (not that he's going to, by where the manga's heading), so Itachi is right that they don't need to worry.

I mean, what if Naruto could properly wield all that Chakra? He'd have the greatest amount of Chakra possible and it will be unlimited. He can beat anyone just in a game of attrition.

I think that Oro simply dosen't care about Kyuubi. I think that in the sannin battle he was only bothered because Naruto might have proved an obstacle in Oro's obtaining Sasgay. Akatsuki want the nine tails, but remember Kyuubi is slightly different from the other tailed beasts. Why did Aka wait three years? We'll find out soon :D
