Really? Well, in my town. A semester basically means that you finish 1/3 of your selected courses in the schoolyear altogether while the other 2/3 are untouched until the a next semester. So basically, a person takes the same courses everyday for a semester.

Where are you studying? Most premed in North America and Europe takes four years, not three. And the fields you mentioned are pre-clinical studies, meaning 2nd year med students study them, not 3rd years. 3rd years are clinical studies/training and some electives.

Started yesterday, finding hell trying to get to sleep at a regular time after a month off :p

I turned out to have the most messed up schedule:

9-10: class
10-12: no class
12-1: class
1-3: no class
3-4: class

And my Thursdays are just so much nastier. XD Two hours of German, an hour break, then two hours of English. I get so jittery during long classes.

Also, my Poli Sci teacher is a monotone jerk dweeb and I can only hope that converting him to Bleachdome or somesuch will take the edge off his boringness.

Will I survive through April? We shall have to wait and see.

Eh, there's a lot of time you're given but a lot of that will be spent reading and doing papers. Unless you want to flunk out. :P Then again, nobody checks up on you to make sure you're coming to class or doing your readings, so in that sense you're free to do things whenever.

I'm personally getting a little worn out from all this, though. Thankfully the program I'm in is only one year and then I'm done. Phew. =.= I might do a Ph.D. assuming school hasn't completely killed my appetite for it, otherwise... working in Japan, here I come! :D

I look at all these schedules and it affirms to me that I chose the wrong classes XD But anyway, I like my school if only for the fact that it's the only one in the world surrounded on three sides by the ocean (beat that, UTo!).

Also, the worst thing you can do is live off caffeine and long nights of studying. My uncle got through school/med school like this, but even though he's only a year older than my dad, right now he looks about ten years older. It sucks the life right out of you. I never touch coffee during school days. Gotta make sure I don't get addicted. :p

I would love to go to a college with such an array of music classes. We are limited in our faculty, staff, and students to have so many options. We're stuck with the Theories, Ensembles, Lessons, Methods, and History classes. Really not that much. Nother specific to cultures.

I love my brothers in KKPsi. It's one of the best things that's ever happened to me.

At FAU, they kinda lack in the percussion department. I walked in last year, fall (freshman year) with two mallets in each hand, and they were like "OMGNOWAIIIIIIII" and gave me a scholarship.

Nice pictures. Marimba. wow. I love it when I hear the Marimba players in recitals. Definitely impressive. And yeah, there is a lot of money lying around ... except in my school. *sigh* most of the really good students barely get more than a few hundred dollars sometimes because of limited scholarships. It's a small college and a music program is a big thing. It requires a lot of students to maintain and band... thus, a lot of students and little money = poor students
