View Full Version : Baby boy middle names
Just to set a few minds at ease before I get started on this topic; neither myself nor Terri plan on having children, however there's always the what if circumstances that occur.
Terri has had a boy's name in mind for knocking on 6 years now, and has until now failed to find the perfect middle name to follow.
This thread is simply for people to throw some suggestions in our direction to see if anyone else has a little more luck than we have had in finding the perfect name.
Thus far our suiting, but imperfect results have been:
Camden Reece <----Suiting but not quite what she's looking for.
Camden Shay <----Very nice, but not perfect.
Camden Shae <----Prettier than the simple spelling of "Shay".
Camden Lee <----NO. ^_^
Camden Troy <----Bleh my name being Roy....nah it just doesn't work. =P
Camden Jay <----Not bad at all, but still when you've waited 6 years in vein, perfection might as well be your goal.
Any thoughts and ideas for second names would be great.
Like I said, we both have no real desire for children, but Terri would like to find something she likes, if only to set her mind at ease for the what if situation.

hm.....you want a cool boy's name? heres one, Zylan camden, it rhyme with Dylan. and its a pretty bad ass name
^ That's a bit weird.
Camden is a gorgeous name :) It looks like you're looking for a simple middle name, judging from the suggestions you have so far. I think Alexander is cool cept there are a lot of alexs' arent there? Oh and there's another spelling for shay/shae. Shea.

if you make your boy first name start with J, then he gets the same name with Jay-z, J.Z.C
You know what's an awesome middle name? Mine! :D
I'm so in love with it.
Gannon
Kinda like Ganon from Zelda, but with an extra "n".
OH SNAP!

Call him a nice name like James so that he doesn't get the piss taken out of him for having a really weird name (mine is weird :D - Maximus)

maxmus is not wierd, and yeah Le Roy sounds bad ass
Since there is an abundance of Chris at the school I'm at, especially in the music department, I kinda wanna start going by Gannon (middle name).
How cool, eh?

does have any meaning, i sounds pretty cool i got to admit. but dont give a name that let ppl make fun at, like Gaynon something like that, unless the boy becomes popular
I've had the WORST when it comes to having nicknames. Beleive me.
Nobody really knew my middle name was Gannon either, unless they were close to me; I never got made fun of for it.
However, my last name is Hand.
Yes, like the thing your fingers are on.
So,
you can imagine I was called in middle school.
"Hand-Job"
"Handy-Man"
Nowadays it's just "Mr.Hand" and "The Hand Man"
Haha

filjor the pernounced fleeor, this girl in my school, thought this up
Thanks everyone for everything you've thrown our way so far.
You know, I'll admit, and I've told her myself, that initially I really wasn't interested in this at all.
Like I said, neither of us have ever planned on kids, even before we got together, but I appreciate why she would want to know her perfect name for the "WHAT IF" scenario, and I've actually become interested in helping her find that special name.
So far everything she came up with hasn't been anything she likes, and to avail of my efforts none of the names I've managed to supply were anywhere close, with the one exception of; Camden Shae.
Initially we both thought it was a decent name, but wasn't perfect, and as I said, why wait 6 years trying to find the "right" name to settle for something just "so so".
But suprisingly enough, we're now both of the opinion that Camden Shae has little by little grown on us both.
I haven't spoken to her about it since I made the thread, but I don't think she feels it is that perfect name...but if a name can grow on you as much as this has so far, then it's probably the type of name that you wouldn't realise was the right one, until you were put into the situation whereby you would have to name a child of your own.
Anyways, once again, thanks a lot folks thus far, and still if you do think up anything else that you think will fit nicely, please do let me know. =)

Hmm.. my first name is Mats(lame and weird name), but over here we use our middle names instead.. O.o convenient for me though, since I was named after my father..

My middle name is Linda.

i liked jay the last one :P
I have to jet off to work right now, but I saw these two and was rather suprised at how well they seem to work together.
Camden Felix or Camden Neil both seem to run together quite nicely. =)
LOL, a thought just occured to me - this is only the name for a boy. ^_^
Y'all don't even want to know what she thinks for a girl, although suprisingly enough she isn't stuck for second names with a girl.
Patience Rose
Ebony Jade
and I forget the 3rd choice and don't have time to think of it since I have to shoot off RIGHT NOW. ^_^
I'll be back later, thanks Neco, thanks Mool. =)

Camden Rice?
Camden Carl?
Camden Dane?
You could also go with no middle name, alot of people dont have one.
Not having a middle name wouldn't necessitate this thread's existence, the whole point of this thread is that Terri would want her child to have a middle name that suits Camden as a first name.

Ok well if i were to have a boy one of my favourite names is Gabriel it doesn't sound to bad with camden but u also have to take the last name in account to it all has to run smoothly together so i dunno
Camden Gabriel ...

What about joining two names to be a middle name, rather than the traditional one? Such as Camden Mark-Anthony.
I like the name Gabriel and Gabrielle. It's definitely two choices to consider if I have a son and a daughter.

Lol.. yeah except I have a strong dislike for the whole 'any sex can have this name' trend.. its pretty stupid.. sounds the same. But perhaps thats me being narrow minded, either way I dont care :P
