The reason it's so hard to find these kind of guys is because the guys who are good looking usually realize this, and thus develop a sense of arrogance. They think girls will jump at their feet when they want simply because they've got the looks. I know, because I used to be like that >.> It's really really really stupid because it's such a turn off to girls. It's also a road to cheating. A guy'll think he can cheat on his GF because he's goodlooking and can pick up any girl anyway. It takes a lot for a guy to realize this has happened to him. It was only due to certain problems I've had in my life that have caused me to rethink everything about my life and one of the conclusions I reached was that I was being a ****ing ass lol.

Yeah girls like cute guys, but I think I'll catch something much more meaningful that'll last much longer when I focus on my personality rather than my looks.

That's really true. The nice guys usually don't have the self-confidence 'good-looking' guys do (at first). Which is why some defect to the dark side in an attempt to be as 'cool' as the good-looking guy. Thus you get both negatives. Not cute and Not nice.

I didn't change him...he changed on his own accord....and so did I. We both changed to suit eachother better. The one thing people do in a relationship is that they either grow together or they grow apart...in my situation...my bf and I grew together.

Not to mention,if he had all the characteristics of my type of guy from the get go, I'd be very skeptical in dating him. No one's perfect, I know that. It's the imperfections that make a person perfect. I'm sure that would suit them just fine. If anything, these lists illustrate our drive to find the perfect person, and our eventual failure to do so. I'm sure if we all came back here 10 years later (or 20, given the age of some people on this board) and compared the person we actually ended up with to our list, we'd find that person bears only a small resemblance to our perfect man/woman, or should I say, to our ideals of the perfect man/woman.

We would certainly love this person, and would probably look back at our old list and say: "I was foolish (or naive) back then" "Yeah, it would have been nice if I'd met someone like that, but I would have missed out on this person I'm with now if that had happened."

What happened in those 10 years? Did we become more mature and grow an appreciation for things outside what we had written down? Did our tastes change (looking towards chicks who said "I prefer asain guys")? Or did we give up on getting together with Mr/Miss Perfect and just settle for someone else within easier reach? Were we all looking for someone "out of our league" back then?
