I don't think they've cut anything...it just hasn't gotten to the really bloody parts.

yeah it's only been about 18/19 episodes in, we'll see in the SS arc, also i haven't really seen any difference between the two anyways.

It certainly seems to be fine... I can't tell any differences.

I guess when they get to Soul Society we'll see what, if anything, they decide to cut!:D

It's Adult Swim. I doubt they'll ever need to cut anything out of Bleach.

The only thing where violence is concerned that pushes the envelope for them are, for example, people's skulls getting blown up from the inside or a person with half of their body missing. I'm talking about Fullmetal Alchemist, where Scar goes around blowing up people's heads and Archer gets split in two.

They were, however, able to get away with showing a child without a leg and blood gushing out of the wound. I think anything Bleach has in store will be child's play compared to what Fullmetal Alchemist got away with.

Actually, Adult Swim has noted on several occasions that they would rather not show an episode at all than show one that has edited all of the voilence out. They have shown this note on Fullmetal Alchemest, Ghost in the Shell (someone had their head exploded, brains and all) and Elreka 7 (arm blown off and the person picks it up.)

Even besides anime, they put Korgoth and Metacolypse on the air and there are plenty of gory scenes in those shows.

I highly doubt Bleach will be visually edited at all. It has already been toned down from the Manga anyway (Kukakku's arm being mechanic instead of just gone or Jidanbou's arm being cut off by Ichimaru)

generally, when anime is brought over seas they like to "filter" out alot of stuff like blood, gore, and homosexual tendancies...just because we are not comfortable or more so the parents that are watching what their kids are watching, because they liek to place blame where they can to take some negative feed back on why their kids are a lil messed up our culture is not a "open" as the japanese is...so when we get in to the more intense battles the will be greatly cut up, and lots will be missing...:)

Candybar... If Bleach were on Miguzi or Toonami, I might agree with you, but... you're wrong. Bleach won't be edited. "When we get in to the more intense battles they will be greatly cut up" is just not going to happen.

This is Adult Swim. Edward Elric got his leg dissolved into nothing with a pool of blood underneath him, and he was just a child. Normally violence towards children is toned down on television, but Adult Swim was able to get away with it. Things that got past the filter in Fullmetal Alchemist were ten times worse than any violence that happens in Bleach. After all, people die in FMA. In Bleach, however... Not a single person has died during the course of the series.

Nothing in Bleach should be edited out, and so far, nothing has.

Adult Swim doesn't like to edit out the content shown. I remember something that went along those lines. Besides why would they bother edit out blood in Bleach? They show a lot of this violence in Robot Chicken, etc... even in the other anime.

it would be cool if they featured Gantz in Adult Swim.
