also, if you're that height, what's so weird in dating girls about 5'1" or 5'2"? i know a hot girl wo is 5'1" and i just can't think of her as a sister considering how hot she is...

Hmm, i suppose...or it just means they're taking growth hormones. But then they start growing hair in places they shouldn't and they get buffer than you are....it's not pretty.

Height does matter!!! When i was younger i had a relationship with a very short girl . She was very very very very very very . . . . very very very cute. Well the whole perfect situation was ruined when we danced. When we tryied to dance*. Im quite tall , and i just couldnt dance with her. It was very embarasing.... for both of us.

So height DOES matter ! I havent met many women taller than me ( 1,83 cm .. not THAT tall but im stil 16.. so im taller than most guys / girls i know ) so i dont know about me being the shorter one. But i guess it wouldnt hurt. As long as the difference wasnt vast lawl.

I mean its not like it has to matter, its more like it could matter to some people, for example, my gf is like 20 cm shorter than me and im ok with it, btw 1.84 m, but there's also this very cute girl at school that ive liked since like forever, but i mean she's like 1.40 m, so cmon, im not gonna ask her out just because of 3 reasons:
1.-She looks like she could be my daughter, i mean it
2.-She has a boyfriend
3.-She was interested in me, but not anymore

I'm 1.88 m (6ft 2') and i wouldn't date a girl who's 1.40 m either XD 1.50 m really is the minimum. And I don't think I'm a jerk for that reason (for other reasons, maybe ^^) though, it's just my preference =p
a 1.40 m girl would look like my little sister, we couldn't kiss, dance (well, i don't dance anyway lol) and i would look a bit funny.

I do for that is my preferance; a girl who is taller than me. An I mean TALLER; like you can see it when you walk by taller. 2, 3 f inches even a foot, the taller the better in my opinion but I have gone out with people shorted than me, I just like the tall gals. ^_^

I'm fairly short, so I don't run into this problem very often, but yeah, I normally like boys to be taller than myself. Because then you fit into that niche under their armpit when you stand next to them with one arm around them >.> Cant do that when they are of a similar height.

Height doesn't really matter to me, but i've never had a serious relationship with anyone actually. But in the near future, yes, i can see myself with a guy shorter then me. I care about the personality more then the looks though.

well I'm 6'1" (1.85 Meters) so most girls I know are shorter than me. I was only 5'10"(1.77 M) until I turned 21 (really late growth spurt), so I used to be kinda self-concious about being short; and I wouldn't date girls who were taller than me. That was until I met my ex-gf who I was an amazing person, so I guess what I'm trying to say is:

Height used to be a factor, until I met someone special enough to make me not care about anything except being with her.

i'm 15 too. i was 5'5" just a month ago. i pretty much started my growth sprout this a couple months ago...and it's all right donut. i'm sure you'll grow. i was always short, but i started to grow. don't feel bad in yourself! ^_^

that's good. i always worry especially since i love basketball and basketball is harder when short...also, the girl i like is about 5'7" to 5'8" and i feel weird liking someone my height. those are the main reasons i want to grow taller...

For me, it is. I don't really want to date a chick that's taller than me. Don't get me wrong, it might be a fun experience in bed, but I wouldn't commit. It'd look kinda goofy to be making some lovey dovey action in public and having to stand on my freakin' tiptoes just to make out with her.

I like short chicks, but I like'em to be too short. Possibly around 5 feet to 5 "4. Short chicks are fun. :)

I dont think height matters much for guys, height is more a factor for females.

Me personally, as long as the girl has dark brown or black hair and a cute smile i'm like butter lol. Totally had a crush on one of my english teachers when in high school, she always used to sit on the desk infront of me and cross her legs and spread them slightly when i was there. Short woman with short black hair... grr so wanted her lol.

Like alot of women/girls don't want guys shorter then them, guess it makes them think 'well hes shorter so hes either weaker then me, or weaker then the normal guy' which is a load of bull, i have a short friend whos fists feel like there packed with bricks *shrug*.

I don't really give a **** about the height of the girls I like, it doesn't matter if you truly love her.

I would find it pretty awkward if the girl is taller than me though, I'm 6'2'' with shoes on maybe close to 6'3'', I don't see girls taller than me very often =p

Actually I like short chicks, like 5'2'' - 5'5'' (I don't really know how to use the feet and inches system but i guess thats around 165 cm) It's fun because you can just lift them with no effort and stuff =p

Only downside i can think of at the moment is when you want to dance with a girl almost a ft. shorter, but I don't dance anyway ^^

Umm. I guess I have to say that it matter's to me. I probably wouldn't feel very comfortable with a guy shorter than me, though I don't usually care about looks or height that much. It's just that I'm pretty short myself, so the guy should be reeeeally short to be shorter than me. And that would be kind of weird.

I think it'd be hard for me to date a girl who's taller than i am >_<; in fact, i tend to have a preference towards women quite a bit shorter than I am~ at least a few inches shorter.

I'm a girl and height really isn't that important. I dated someone who was 6'8 once, he was a bit too tall, but it never affected what I felt for him. And for some strange reason I seem to be attracted to guys who are about my same height or even a few inches shorter.
