Bleach Hangout?

This is just a 'Text/Story-Based' RP, you get a sig saying that you're a member....sort of like the FC's....and basically you just post in the thread as your original bleach character.

There are NO characters allowed from Bleach (anime/manga) in this RP, EXCEPT 'Yamamoto Genryuusai'. I can't say this enough, that the characters and happenings must be original, also, things relating to the anime/manga (Characters, clans, weapons) are not allowed. Soz ^^'

If you would be so kind as to write in the 'Story-Based' style of writting (if you can't fair enough) But that is the prefered writting style (if you don't know what i mean, read some of the recent chapters to get an idea of how it's to be laid out)

The setting is in the Soul Society (There's no real desciption so you can add stuff, there's a bath house, hospital, rooms etc) Here the characters go to sleep, get appointed missions, hear anouncements (and so on)

I know what you mean when you say some RPG's are pretty complex in their system. Of course some pull it off that way and people enjoy it, but it's not really my cup of tea, I like it simple. I'm working on one, but this thread isn't about that.

Anyway, if it has any kind of roleplaying in it I'm all in. ^_^
Before I start thinking about my character though, any more word on the setting? Mortal world or Soul Society, both are equally fine I think, but just so that I don't go making a human (example) and everyone else starts to play a Shinigami etc. T_T

Ah that's a good point, i'm having trouble deceiding that...i was thinking along the lines of SS at least if you don't want to be a Shinigami you can be a Ryoka...there wouldn't be the court of pure souls though (cause that aint fair)

Just a place where Shinigami and Ryoka can...mingle i suppose ^^ How's that? You want to be a human you can be a Ryoka (which is close enough) and if you want to be a shinigami, fair enough huh? But then there's the thing with the Ryoka and it being feudal @.@

Well um...there can be a Feudal section and a mordern section *looks at map of SS.....throws out window* Ahaha, so that if you want to be feudal then okies, and if you want to be mordern then okies hahaha

Also, your character doesn't have to be the same gender as you, they can be the opposite but if you want it to be then okies

Age: 16

Discripton: Tall, blonde short hair, green eyes, skinny but well built
Personality: Kind, gentle, sweet. Kei tends to be clumbsy and gets over excited sometimes. Very forgetful aswell
Distinguishing feature: Scar on his left eyebrow
Occupation: Death God, but he's just fresh out of the academy

History: Kei was born as a Ryoka in the 23rd district, though it was a fairly good place to grow up in, he tended to get into trouble and didn't have many freinds. The yerning for a family drove him to train to become a Shinigami, once hearing that he infact had spirit force. His good-heartedness and forgetfulness gained him many friends in the Academy, most of which becuase they thought he would get himself into trouble if they weren't with him. Now out of the Academy, he still has friends that watch out for him, but he's alone most of the time. (prepare for clumbsiness!)

I suppose that even though Shinigamis don't seem to interact with the 80 districts that much they should be able to go pretty much where they want if they have a reason to. They also seem to discover new recruits from the Ryoka districts on occasion, so yeah, it shouldn't be that much of a stretch to make a shinigami/ryoka area. People will probably just play shinigami and soul society characters anyway. ^_^

Oh, and my attempt at a character.

Name: Osamu Kimura
Age: 23
Death God: Yes

Descripton: Stout and wide, very muscular but a bit short. The right side of his head is almost completely shaved, while the left side goes down in a pigtail along the neck down to the shoulders. His haircolor is brown and so are his eyes.

Personality: Calm, gentle and protective. A bit shy to strangers.

Distinguishing feature: Big forehead.

Occupation: Shinigami, former part of 7th and 4th squad, now awaiting transfer yet again.


History: Osamu was born in district 62, where he lived mostly on his own until he was seventeen, when a group of six kids and a older sister took him in. He became their older 'brother' and for many years he acted as a placeholder parent for them. When a unsupervised wagon rolled down a hill and threatened to run over two of his siblings, he went berserk and crushed it in it's path, and thus his spirit power was discovered. He was shipped off to the Court of Pure Souls with a grand reputation and high anticipations, and there were no doubts his future would be very successful.

All expectations were destroyed when it was discovered Osamu has virtually no talent at all, and that besides exploding on occasion his spirit power actually is very sub-par. He has spent at least twice the normal time in any class and will never learn anything at the first go. People like to tease him for being "the biggest loser", but his hard work and modesty has earned him some kind of respect and pity. After finally graduating from the academy, he spent some time in 4th squad, happily performing his duties, but due to his lack of healing skills he was transferred to 7th. After two years of service it turns out 7th don't want him either. Currently Osamu is awaiting to be appointed to a new squad.

I hope this mini-rp catches on, looking forward to see that clumsy Kei in action. ^^

Uh, here we go.. *Putting him down, Osamu takes a step or two back, standing there in complete silence with a look that could either be a expression of guilt or a strange attempt to look friendly. With a face cut in stone it's always hard to tell*

*Kei puts his defence down (his arms), seeing that the man didn't seem to want to hurt him* Oh uh.....Thank you.....i think... *he gets up and brushes himself down, his clothes were covered in dust, he looked up at the man gently leaning sidewards to see his face* Uh....Hiyo! *starts waving...somehwhat retardedly* My name is Kei! I'm in.....uh....*face overcome with horror* AH!! The meeting!! For the squads! Gah! *wants to start running but is stopped by the man, who had put his big hand on his shoulder, prohibiting movement* The.....the squad meeting you know where we get put into squads? squads!! *he said making frantic hand gestures* Ooooh if i'm any later of this they're going to put my butt in 4th Squad! Sahiden does wear a self-improved version of the standard Shinigami outfit under the robes.

Personality: A bit of a lonely person, Sahiden is more thinking than anything else. A very quiet person. He can get quite diffirent in various situations. Sahiden is known to be able to be sad and lost in his own mind at one moment and completely jumpy and happy at the next moment. Sahiden still blames himself for some past events and searches a way to make up for his past.

Distinguishing feature (if any): Black robes, marks on his hands indicating the seal he was given at his birth. (The marks are usually invisible.), his sword (if he ever draws it that is...)

Occupation: Shinigami (Squad is not applicable, Sahiden is not of Soul Society, but from another Shinigami organisation, his rank there is Shadow Captain. Sahiden also carries the rank: Captain of the First Fleet. Sahiden is on a rather long journey to search for answers and a possible solution for his problem.)

History: Since a terrible accident that obliterated the only person he loved, Sahiden is on a quest to find answers to the many questions he has.
Because of a recent rather unfortunately encounter Sahiden has lost his memory. He now searches for his own techniques and power yet again.
In an incident caused by some ryoka, Soul Society seems to be completely out order. Sahiden already regained a bit of memory and now remembers some things about his past. He has already notified his master Vale about this guild of Shinigami. Vale himself has come to Soul Society for peace negotiations between the Shinigami guilds. Unfortunately he has also brought Naetell along. Sahiden hardly remembers Naetell but can't stop feeling bad everytime he sees him. Naetell isn't the most friendly person ever either anyway...

Special details: Sahiden shows NO traces of spirit energy. This makes him impossible to track by any energetical means. He also carries NO weapon at all.

As the METP-gate (a transportation device invented by Naetell) closes both Vale and Naetell step forward. Sahiden walks up to them.
-Hiya Vale, Naetell... *puts hand up for Vale, while Naetell gets a friendly nod*
- Naetell: Sahiden, YOU IDIOT. Get out of my sight. You had to do something again right. You always have been such a completely retarded imbicile, just tell me... What did you blow up this time...
-Nothing at all... (did I ever blow things up then???) It wasn't me who caused this whole ruckus around here.
-Vale: Sahiden, are you sure you're feeling alright, you sound a little.... Not yourself-like you know.

o.O Uh that was a very good fict, i like your character he seems nice enough ^^ But i am now extremely confused :confused: I think...so limit confusion about the rp, we should try and stick to one storyline....or at least where all the characters can interact (cause it isn't really RPing together if it's just one person writting their own fict ^^'')

What i mean is like...okay you seem to have your own storyline going here...which is totally fine, but you really need to connect it to the other ficts if you know what i mean, see how me and Tesh were making a story together? That's what it's supposed to be like (with more than 2 people) like you join in with our story with ur character (maybe not right away)

Oh another thing, i noticed you put another 2 characters in your fict...iiiiif your going to do that, you REALLY have to add their profiles as well...it's preferable if you only handle 1 character with 1 story, but if you wanna be complicated then okay...

I'm afraid i can't post a fict from your post because it is SUPER confusing, like a totally different storyline....if you wanna put that as a kind of PROLOGUE then that's okay, but i urge that you take the story from where it left off, maybe not interacting with the current characters right away, you know maybe at the sidelines, but please from the next post....

ahh....where your clothes? *the stranger opened apart of his robes to reveal Death God clothing, Kei sighed and scratched the back of his head* You here for the Squad meeting?*The stranger 'somewhat' nodded* Ahh...soooorryyyy, but you missed it, just like us! *He laughed nervously, the stranger walked towards him*

I can't remember a lot though... *Sahiden scratches his head a little* I do want to ask you guys this: You said something about the METP-gate, I would like to know where you got that information? I thought not many knew it around here as it is used only for high positioned personnel. You in particular * making arm gesture at Kei* don't seem experienced enough to have witnessed that thing in action before.
Are the books around here already updated with the advancements brought by the new Death Gods? Or does information here cycle pretty fast from High to Low class around here.

Name: Soluna

Age: Since the end of life... 723 AD so... I'm guessing over a thousand years... Give or take. (Died at the age of 16)

Death God: In a way... SO I guess kinda half/half... But not half Ryoka mind you. (Her parents were both shinigami who came to earth… And the other half of her is her Sensou no Megami half).

Description: Short (5'00") agile build with tan skin and one light brown eye and one red eye. Brown hair (With side swept bangs) that comes down past shoulders (Ties up in ponytail), wears pink upper kimono part (Seen in sig pic below) With a dragon on one panel and a phoenix on the other (In place of the cherry blossoms) and a deep red hakama with a deep blue ribbon tied around. The inner robe (You know the white part that shows through) is black. (Wow, long explanation)

Personality: A very strong kind of character yet if you can understand her she is a very sad kind of person who cannot let go of her past life. Mature yet witty at the same time, she can have a very dark demeanour when angered. Can also be very impulsive, and can sometimes have a bad temper… A complex person and sometimes a complete enigma... Even if you get one part of her that part will continuously change. Smart with her words (The whole "true lies" thing. She has no fear yet great sadness and grief. Sometimes has a hard time trusting people. (Sorry, my explanations are always so long... But really want people to understand where I'm coming from) Her undercover personality is quite happy and jumpy.

Distinguishing feature (if any): The one red eye (Her left one). Her scabbard for her katana/zanpaktou has carvings of a dragon and phoenix gathering around a yin yang, and the sword itself has tiny carvings engraved in the actual sword.

Occupation: Carries, role as Sensou no Megami (Goddess of War), going under cover to watch over the shinigami to see what they're up to. Suspicious of one of the captain's movements and motives.

History: Soluna was born in the Masame village of feudal Japan. Being brought up as the chieftain and cheiftess’ daughter, she learned the ways of both the Murasame Ryu (Men’s style of swordplay) and Masamune Ryu (Women’s style of swordplay). Brought up until the age of 12 (Had mastered both techniques and bowmen-ship already) when village was attacked and killed during the nighttime by bandits (She was the only survivor). Traveling far and wide she came across many different things, and learned the ways of ninjutsu, Bo staffing and many other martial arts trades.

Fell in love with some guy at the age of 16, but then some things happened… (All will be explained later) She died when she tried to save the guy she loved and was reborn as the Sensou no Megami (Hey, I can have flare, can’t I? Besides, the rank of goddesses and gods should be earned) and is now on a mission to stop whatever sinister planning is going on in Soul Society.

On to the story!!!
Note: I'm gonna write it in story format because it's easier for me to read.

“C'mon! If we don't get there soon we wont even get into 4th Squad!” Yelled Kei. Osamu and Sahiden followed, chuckling. Just as Kei was about to step forward something from the sky plunged down towards them. Kei shouted (More so screamed) but then stopped when the figure gracefully touched the ground with barely even a sound coming from her landing. The three looked at her and then looked at each other. The girl got up and did a peace sign pose.

“Hiya! The name’s Soluna! I’m part of 1st squad! How about you guys?” The three looked at each other again, and then back at Soluna. Kei gaped at her, then stepped forward.

“You’re… You’re part of 1st squad?!?!?” Soluna looked at him questioningly.

“Yeah… what’s so bad about it?” The three looked at each other and then looked at her attire.

“You don’t… Look like you’re really around from here.” Osamu put in, sounding out the words. Soluna checked herself, then slapped her forehead with her hand and smiled.

“Oh yeah! I forgot. I don’t actually come from here… I come from another shinigami group in Japan. We also have a totally different uniform you have to wear.” She explained calmly. Sahiden looked at her suspiciously.

“I thought there was ONLY ONE Shinigami group in Japan.” Kei and Osamu nodded their heads in agreement. Soluna smiled sweetly, yet thought in her head,

‘Man, these guys aren’t your Average Joes. I’m gonna have to be careful when I’m around them.’

“Well, you see, we’re just a small faction, we cover the smaller islands of Japan that Soul Society doesn’t cover. You could say… We’re a BRANCH of Soul Society.” Kei and Osamu nodded their heads slowly, letting it all soak in. Sahiden, although still a little suspicious, let it go. There was an awkward silence, which at that moment Soluna clapped her hands together.

“Oh right! I almost forgot! The reason I came here was because…” she took out three scrolls, “My captain told me to give this to you.” Each one took the scroll addressed to them and Kei and Sahiden looked at her questioningly.

“What’s this?” Kei asked, passing the scroll from his right to his left hand and back again. Osamu nodded understandingly.

“It’s our placement scroll.” Kei swallowed hard, and then began to unravel his scroll. His heart sank when he got it. 4th squad.

“Hmm, looks like I got 12th squad.” Sahiden said, scanning what else it said.

“Really? This time around I have 3rd squad. What about you, Kei?” When there was no answer, the other three turned to face Kei. “What’s wrong Kei?”

“I… I got… 4th squad.” Osamu and Sahiden looked at him understandingly, while Soluna just smiled.

“You haven’t checked the rest of your scroll yet though. Look.” Kei and the others checked their scrolls and sure enough, each had the same thing written:

Special Task Forces
The four of you Kei, Osamu, Sahiden and Soluna, have hereby been declared sub-squad 1 of the Special Task forces. The 4 of you will be given missions for hunting special cases in hollow attacks and the retrieval of several problem ghosts. Please report to the center court for an explanation on your first mission.

Kei whooped,

“Yes! Ahahaha! No healing missions of boringness for me!” The other three laughed. Soluna started walking ahead, and then cocked her head to look back at them.

“Well? What are you waiting for? Come on!” The other three raced after her, laughing and talking excitedly.

Thank you, thank you... I love your character as well ^_^ AND everyone elses. The whole thing with Kei ending up in 4th squad and the Special Task Forces... I decided to twist the plot right here and now ^_^ Because everything needs a bit of a push! Great start to the story though, I totally knew what to write after that ^_^

Ah, sorry, I forgot to add the last name. Soluna Shimizudani. Long last name, huh?

"Wheee! I may be in the 4th Squad but this undercover work sounds awesome!" said Kei between breaths. Soluna looked back at him.

"It's not undercover, it's just extra work." Kei skidded to a stop.

"You mean i STILL gotta like...heal people? But dont even know how to do that! I know how to fight! Whoo yeah!! I fight like a stallion!" Osamu, Sahiden an Soluna stared at him, and at each other.

"A Stallion you say?" asked Soluna drawing her soul slayer. Kei's face drained of colour and he waved his hands.

"I don't fight friends, that's just wrong ya'know?" Soluna smiled to herself, seeing the fear in his face, he couldn't fight a puppy. He was put into the 4th Squad for a reason, but also he was put in the Special Unit for a reason. She pondered to herself, he looked weak and when hailed for a duel he's the quickest to back down.

Not much of a man are you? she thought. Kei looked at her and smiled dumbly.

"Hey hey hey!! We going?! C'mon let's a'GO GO GO!!" and with that he ran down the street to the Central Court. The others followed talking to each other, Osamu was definatly Kei's friend now, he had made a promise to himself about keeping him safe, Sahiden had also made a deiscion about the little group they had. Kei needed looking after, he was a simplton, a nice simplton but a simplton nonetheless. Osamu seemed fine, but he was moved around a lot....and there was this Soluna, she was suspisious but he would have to trust her for now. As Kei was running into the Court, he managed a head-on collision with Mimi, a girl that had watched over him in the Academy. Kei staggared backwards and fell on his backside. He rubbed his sore hind.

"That's the third time today! Geezus! Oh, hello Mimi, i didn't hurt you did I?" he asked rising.

"It's hard NOT to hurt someone with that concrete skull of yours!" she yelled rubbing her head. The others ran in to see what had happened. Osamu put his hand on Kei's shoulder.

"Getting into trouble again?" Mimi got herself together and jumped up and down.

"Jirokajiko-kun! Jirokajiko-kun!!" she said still jumping "I got put into squad 6!! Now that you mention it....i didn't see you at the meeting....did you get your scroll?" she asked settling down. The others faces were frozen in a dazed/shicked kind of look.

"Jirokajiko?" said Saluna. Osamu and Sahiden stared.

"That's about the most difficult name i've ever heard." said Osamu. Kei blinked.

"You think that's bad? My cousin's last name is Dinshokinadanskonero, and actully, my FULL name is Keikonsawari, but Kei is soooo much easier to remember and pronounce ya'know?" Osamu, Sahiden and Saluna managed a nod.

"Dinsko....Din....Din.........nevermind." said Sahiden waving a hand in dismissal. Kei got back to what he was talking about...then stopped and edged away from Mimi slowly. Mimi blinked.

"What's wrong?" she gasped "You were put in Squad 4 weren't you?!" Kei hung his head, then he stood up straight and said proudly.

"Yeah? Well I'M In a Special Un--!?" He was cut off by Saluna, who had grabbed his mouth from behind (with effort as she is much smaller) and was dragging him backwards.

"No! Bad Kei!!" she whispered into his ear "You musn't tell anyone of this you hear me?!" Kei nodded and took a deep breath.

"You're in a special what now?" asked Mimi walkig away. Kei was about to answer when Soluna interupted.

"He's in a special support team, because he's that bad he needs upport and constant help." Mimi giggled and walked away, while Kei bit his lip and stopped himself from taking a 'spaz-attack' as he called them, which means 'going-absoultly-bonkers-and-shouting-a-lot'. Soluna turned to face them and began to speak

Name: Nik Taizuka (I just made it up, hope it doesn't truely mean anything)

Age: 17

Death God: Yes, though he doesn't know it yet.

Description: Spiky jet-black hair, Dark amber eyes, Lean and extremely flexible, a bit shorter than medium height, tanned complexion, Doesn't see very at all.

Personality: Friendly but cautious around strangers, Loyal, Daydreams at times, A bit of a scaredy-cat, Can become emotionally unstable (usually at the worst of times), Only fights when cornered.

Distinguishing feature: Birth mark on the calf resembles a foot with a pair of wings, a soft warm touch.

Occupation: Student.

History: Nik was just a normal high school student who got high grades, played sports, had a small close-knit group of friends and plagued by normal teenage crushes. One day, he was walking home with his best friend, Amika, when she got knocked over by a drunken speeding driver. Even though it was in broad daylight, nobody was around and Nik called the ambulance. Not knowing first aid, he held her in his arms and simply willed her to stay alive. To his utter surprise and horror, they both began to glow with a soft blue light. At the same time, he felt an unbearably intense pain grow in his chest. Nik tried with all his might to contain the pain but it grew and grew until his vision was seared white and eventually his body just gave up.

Suddenly, Nik felt a violent wrench as if he got caught in a big breaking wave. He had became a spirit. Amika regained conscious despite her fatal injuries that mysteriously healed.

Nik wandered around for a while, not knowing how or why he had died. He soon discovered that he had acquired an enormous amount of sprinting speed and stamina. Just as well, because running was all he did, away from terrible monsters with holes in their chests and menacing black robed people who materialised out of thin air.

Nik dropped to the ground in an alleyway, totally exhausted after evading yet another party of 4 black robes. This was too much to handle, especially after watching his own funeral, even thought of it made him wanted to throw up. Well atleast Amika will be okay...

There were just so many questions and unknowns. He wondered why the balck robes were after him and if they had any connection to those monsters, how he had suddenly become so fast, why he wasn't hungry, why he hadn't gone to Heaven yet, and most importantly, why he died in the first place. All he knew was that he seemed to have pulled the pain from Amika into himself and that shortly after he'd died, Amika was... healed... <*0.0*>

"THAT'S IT!! I must have somehow healed her by transferring her injury into myself.... and then maybe, somehow used a healing power? But why did I die? Perhaps I don't have enough power? Or maybe the injury was too great? Aaarrghh, dammit! dammit! dammit!!" *starts crying*

After a good 10 minutes, the wisps of a plan started to from, after all it was no good running around forever... If only he could catch one of those black robes off guard, or lure him away from his comrades... then he could ask for answers with, hopefully, some degree of safety.

Hiya SminG! Actually, your part of the story is kinda of like a prologue to us meeting you… Which is a good thing ^_^ I’m not confused at all, but I’m gonna try and add you into the story in some way…

Lol, Kei sounds kinda like Laguna from FF8…. And Sahiden kinda sounds like Vincent from FF7. Jirokajiko-kun… Wow, that’s REALLY complicated ^_^;;;

Um… I’m not sure if you were planning to have Mimi as Kei’s lover Ichigona, so I’m gonna compromise and have him deny/admit something else ^_^ I have it AAAALLLL figured out.

All right!!! Onto the story!!!

Soluna turned to face them and began to speak.

“Look, you can’t just go around blabbing to every person on the corner that we’re part of a special task force!!” The last part she muttered under her breath, “That’s why it has the word “special” in it! You can’t tell anyone, not even your girlfriend over there!” She pointed her thumb to where Mimi had just left. Kei blushed a deep red, then muttered,

“She’s not my girlfriend…” Sahiden smirked, then slyly put in,

“Oh? Then why are you blushing???” Kei blushed even more, but then blurted out,

“I like someone else right now, ok???” Then quieter, “She’s… Like a sister to me…” Everyone was quiet, and then Osamu laid a giant hand onto Kei’s shoulder and nodded appreciatively.

“I know how you feel. Whenever I’m with one of my sisters everyone always mistakes me for their father or boyfriend or husband. But I can believe you when you say Mimi is more of a sister then anything else.” Kei nodded appreciatively, then Soluna after a moment’s thought added in,

“So… WHO exactly do you like???” Kei blushed and then stuck his tongue out at her.

“Like I’m gonna tell!” Soluna watched him run towards the central court, while Sahiden whispered in her ear

“He’s denying something.” And with that the other three sprinted towards the central court.

When the group reached the central court, they saw Shigekuni-Taichou already poised and ready to give them their assignments. Kei, seeing the taichou’s regal posture made him get nervous. He slowed to a continuous saunter and suddenly felt very self-conscious about how he presented himself. He was almost there when all of a sudden,

“Shigekuni-Taichou!! I brought them!!!” And with a thump he tripped over a crack on the paved road and fell face first onto the ground. Chuckling was heard behind him and he glared back to see Osamu, Sahiden and Soluna chuckling and giggling. He jumped up and was about to tell them off when the wise old voice of Shigekuni-Taichou echoed out from the very centre of the court.

“I am glad that the four of you like to have fun and play games, but right now is not the time.” The four faced the Taichou in a lined and listened intently. The Taichou paused, to gain the full attention of the four, and then continued, “We have a mission for the four of you now. Apparently there is an earthbound spirit in Osaka who some of our people report seems to have some shinigami powers. Many have tried to get a hold of him but he keeps on running away. We need you four to go and get him… Alive if you will. We need to get him soon or we fear he might turn into a hollow soon.” Kei jumped up and down excitedly.

“All right then, what are we waiting for??? Let’s go!!!” Shigekuni-Taichou held up a hand.

“Patience, young one. I have yet to give you the things you need.” Kei spun around, confused.

“Things? What things?” The Taichou stepped forward, and gave each person two badges and a necklace. The first badge (Kinda bronze in colour) had an egg timer looking thing with what looked like hands of a clock behind it. The second badge (Silver) had two swords crossing each other. One was a zanpaktou in regular form, the other a zanpaktou in transformed form. The necklace was a type of small pendent with a jade in the center. A dragon and a phoenix encircled the centre. Osamu stared at them, then looked up at the Taichou.

“What are these for?” Soluna was already trying it on and twirling around to see how it looked. Shigekuni-Taichou pointed to the first one.

“That is a license for you to stay in Japan or anywhere else for as long as you need to.” He pointed to the second badge. “That is a license for you to unleash your shikai or bankai… When you achieve it. It will also allow you to tap into your full power when needed. And that,” He pointed to the necklace, “Allows you to materialise so that you may have a body if needed… Somewhat like a gigai.” Kei shoved them into the fold of his kekai (Or is it called Kekai??? I forget… It’s the top part of your robes.), then did a mock salute to the Taichou.

“We’ll do our best, Shigekuni-Taichou!” Sahiden grunted.

“We’ll??? I believe you mean I. The rest of us can take care of ourselves just fine… But you might need extra… Help.” Kei spun around glowering furiously.

“Hey, I can fight just as well as all of you!!” Soluna smiled sweetly yet sinisterly, and tapped her zanpaktou lightly.

“Oh yeah? Then why did you back down so easily when I showed my zanpaktou to you?” Kei, still fuming, stomped off to the direction of the nearest METP-gate. He spun around quickly.

“Well??? Come on! We’ve got a job to do!!” Still snickering a bit, Sahiden and Osamu followed after him. Soluna was about to leave when the Taichou called for her to come back.

“Sensou no Megami… Do you think this is going to work? Is it REALLY that necessary to have Special Task Forces… I do believe one of the newer taichous might be suspicious but… I assure you that nothing is being overlooked right now. We are quite adept when it comes to our protection abilities you know.” Soluna, still smiling, started to leave, and stopped midway.

“Yamamoto… I know you have great pride in your selections of choice… But I know something is wrong.” Shigekuni-Taichou’s eyes widened a bit.

“But why THESE three??? One is a quiet person that could be hard to trust, another has no talent nor can he unleash the full extent of his Spiritual Powers, and the last one is so clumsy and weak that he’d just get in the way!!” Soluna spun around, and smiled sweetly at the Taichou.

“They may SEEM weak right now, but with the right training I believe the can amount to something even greater then what the academy could ever amount them to be.” The Taichou looked incredulously at her.

“But if even the academy couldn’t teach them…” With this Soluna turned to face him fully, a dark anger spreading across her face.

“YOUR academy could not tap into their full powers because they did not wish to. The teachers there thought they would soon become drop outs. I chose Kei and Osamu because of their dedication… Not because they were fast learners. Sahiden however…” She turned to leave, “Has something important in the recesses of his memory that I need to confirm if my guesses are correct.”

“But-“

“Yamamoto, please. The reason goddesses and gods are here is for the soul purpose of putting other’s minds at ease… and giving them trust that we will do what we must do.” Soluna turned her head a little and smiled. “Trust me. By the time this little adventure is done, you will have a whole new set of Taichous just waiting to get whatever job they are asked to do. I AM the Sensou no Megami, after all.” And with that, she left, leaving Shigekuni-Taichou speechless.

At the METP-Gate Kei was pacing impatiently.

“Where IS she??? We need to go now!!!” Osamu and Sahiden just looked at each other and shrugged. Then all of a sudden… *GLOMP* the next moment Kei was flat on his face yet again with two healthy sandal prints on his back. Soluna gave the same peace sign pose that she did when she first met the three and said,

“So, didya miss me?” Osamu and Sahiden laughed as Kei got up for the fourth time today and totally spazzed.

“GGGAAAAAH!!! Why does everybody always DO this to me?!?!?!” Soluna giggled, then added,

“Because it’s fun seeing your reaction.” Osamu, sensing another spazz about to erupt from Kei’s mouth, hurriedly interrupted.

“Um… I think we should go now. We need to get to that boy as fast as possible.” And with that the four stepped into the METP-Gate, the other three having no clue of what was to come.

Phew! That was another long one! I hope you people weren’t confused too much!! The whole thing with the discussion between the Taichou and Soluna was because of the fact that in the history and occupation I had told you that Soluna needed to go undercover for some investigations on some Taichous. She predicts that there’s going to be another Menos Grandes attack, except instead of on earth it’s going to attack Soul Society.

I hope that answered any or all questions!!! Oh yeah, and Ichigona, if you could tell me if Mimi will be like a lover or anyone else please tell me. Same goes for Tesh and Sahiden. In my parts of the stories I might be adding something like that, k? See you!

They stood at the METP-gate, Kei was a little stuborn about standing on the platform and Osamu eventully had to lift him on it. The Captain's words echoed in Soluna's mind.

'One is a quiet person that could be hard to trust, another has no talent nor can he unleash the full extent of his Spiritual Powers, and the last one is so clumsy and weak that he’d just get in the way.'

She sighed, thinking that maybe Osamu and Kei needed more extensive training before taking on this mission, especially Kei. She looked at him, he was struggling desperatly in Osamu's arms.

She shook her head and walked calmly over to Kei, the METP-gate was now running and it only took a few minutes to reach earth. She placed her hand on his shoulder, calming him down a little.

"I don't like this thing! I feel sick! I have MEEP-gate sickness!!" She smiled warmly at him.

"METP. It's alright, just another minute." But it didn't even take a minute. Within a few seconds they were on earth. In the Soul Soceity, the METP was clearly marked and had various signs and diagrams on it, while on earth it was could only be seen by Death Gods. Kei remembered Soluna saying that even humans with high spirit powers couldn't see it. Soluna stood still and looked around herself, while Osamu and Kei stood open-mouthed.

"Whoa! So this is earth huh? Pretty Snazz-tastic!" said Kei making a guesture with his hand. Sahiden glared at him.

"You ever say that in front of me again and i'll kill you, got it?" Kei gulped and shuffled closer to Osamu. Something caught inside him, a glow, a flare in his mind that he couldn't explain. It was so bright and powerful.

"D-Do any of you feel that?" Kei felt weak, like something was zapping the power from him. Osamu shook his head and felt Kei's forehead.

"You alright? You look ill." Kei shook his head, what was this feeling? This flare of power? It was so close by and if he closed his eyes he could even see a figure.

"I'm fine, must be the MEEP-gate...." Kei suddenly found himself on the ground with a very annoyed Soluna pulling his hair.

"METP!! It's METP!! NOT MEEP, NOT FREAKING MOOT! M-E-T-P!!" she yelled in his ear. He looked up at her innocently.

"....eep....." he whispered dragging himself away. Soluna grunted and walked slowly down the allyway, she retrived a small electrical pad and pen. It looked very complicated, but she wizzed through menus and dotted maps.

"There are hollows in the area, keep sharp. We may need to fight." she added looking at Kei who was tugging on Osamu's arm. She shook her head.

Kei Jirokajiko....you are simply a frightened child....we must get that out of you. I can only hope that you don't have to learn the hard way...

"Osamu?" said Kei lightly, only wanting him to hear. Sahiden was in front of them and Soluna a little beyond him.

"Yes?"

"I....got a strange feeling back there....did you feel anything?" Osamu stared at him.

"No i didn't. Don't you think you should tell Soluna?" Kei shook his head.

"I don't want her to know...it's probably because of that weird gate thing, no worries!" he said perking up. Osamu was no fool when it came to detecting how people really felt, it was as plain as day that Kei wasn't sure about what it was and just didn't want to make a thing out of it.

"Well you feel it again and you tell me okay?" Kei nodded and walked with him, wondering about the nagging feeling. It was getting weaker, did that mean he was getting further away from it? He couldn't tell. With some thought he remembered a student in his year who had trouble controlling his spirit power and it often leaked out all over the place, it was near enough the same feeling, but this one was stronger. He looked back in the direction of which they had just came and sighed, all he could do was wonder.

Nik had been running again, there was really no point but then again, when a giant beast with a giant mask on it's face is chasing you, you can't help but run.

If i'm already dead, why am i worrying if this thing catches me? was what he thought at first but a nagging thought was also troubling him Maybe i'm not dead...or maybe i am dead but if this thing eats me i'll be super dead... He couldn't take the risk and kept running, he got tired now and then but he couldn't stop. Maybe it would get bored and go away? But then again maybe the thing hasn't eaten in awhile. He pulled the chain that was coming out of his body.

And what's this all about? Feeling that his legs would drop off if he ran any longer, he skidded to a stop and collapsed. He could hear the thing calling in the distance. With all the strength he could muster, he took at deep breath and screamed.

Kei's head shot upwards when he heard the scream, the others had obviously not heard it as they kept walking.

"Hollow!! There's a hollow this way!! I know it!" he said making jumpy steps backwards, he pointed. Soluna walked towards him.

"No there can't be, nothing is showing on the map." Kei took a deep breath as he heard a howl.

"There is! Don't you hear that?!" The others looked at him blankly.

"Maybe you were sent out on this mission too soon after all..." said Soluna turning away.

"What?! Okay so you don't hear it, i do! And i feel it! I can feel the high spirit powers! It's the guy i know it is!" Soluna sighed.

"Let's keep going." Kei's face was stiff and angry, he wanted to scream and shout. Why couldn't they hear it? He turned and sprinted in the direction of the energy.

"What are you doing?! You dumbass!"

"Blue flame! Osamu! Blue flame!" Osamu's face froze, he had felt it after all but didn't realise. He turned to the others.

"He's right, it's this way!" and he ran after Kei, Sahiden and Soluna following.

Kei ran around a corner and found the hollow, it stared at him. Nik was still alright, he looked at Kei.

"You alright?!" Nik looked a little shocked at first, but then nodded. Kei un-sheathed his Soul Slayer, it was thin and long. He hadn't been able to awaken it yet but figured that his mission was important and he would need to fight. He sprinted at the hollow and shoved the Soul Slayer under it's chin. It howled and threw him off, smashing him against a wall. Kei raised himself slowly and turned as Osamu entered the scene. Osamu used his SS with speed and proceision, it didn't take much to slay the hollow as it was weak. Soluna marched over to Kei and slapped his face. He looked shocked at first and rubbed it.

"You fool! What did you think you were doing?! We are a team! Not a one man kamakazi! Did you plan on getting yourself killed?! Running in on a hollow like that with minimal training and experience! Unbelievable!"

"I thought i was doing the right thing! I figured if i could just--"

"Shut up! You are a stupid boy and you need to grow up! Quickly!" she turned away from him and walked over to Nik. "We wont hurt you, we only wish to talk with you, you must be very confused." Nik nodded. Osamu placed a hand on Kei's shoulder, guiding him to the group. They all sat down to talk.

Ichigona: Good, gooooood… Same with Soluna ^_^ But, hopefully things will run smoothly in the later chappies. It’s a good thing that it’s not extremely popular that there’s like 15 chappies after the last chappie ^_^;;; That would be bad… Really bad. Oh yeah, and Taichou DOES mean captain. Sorry if I start to have random bursts of Japanese in here, I’ll only put Japanese in for the rankings. (I.E- Mrs, Mr, Little…)

Yeah, I think he’s kinda like Laguna. What with the clumsiness and such. Lol, sorry about the extremely long chapter. I was just about to burst because there were so many ideas popping in my head at once! It was like there was a popcorn popper in my head!!! It was crazy!!!

‘Why does she always treat ME this way?’ Kei thought in his head. Shaking it off, he sat down between Osamu and Soluna to hear Nik’s story.

“Well, it all started like this…” then Nik went on to explain what had happened to him, the car crash, the healing, him dieing and then how other shinigami chased him down, up to the present. Soluna nodded her head sagely then stood up. The other four looked up at her.

“Well, now that we have our target, we should get back to Soul Society immediately. The only reason we were here was to get him.” Nik’s eyes widened in panic, and, grabbing the hem of Soluna’s hakama, looked up at her pleadingly.

“Please! Don’t hurt me!! I don’t know what I did but I’m sorry! I don’t know how I got these powers!! Please tell me!! You seem to know a lot. Please! PLEASE!” Kei watched the boy piteously pull at Soluna’s hem, and felt sorry for him immediately.

‘Hmm… I bet anything she’ll get mad at him to and beat him up to a pulp.’ Kei shuddered as he imagined Soluna drawing out her oddly marked Katana and slicing him up into shreds. But he soon gasped to see Soluna gently pry his hands off her hem and smile at him sweetly.

“I cannot explain everything to you at the moment… But to ease your fears I will say this. You are one of us.” Nik’s breathing slowed and he sat back down in a more relaxed position, not speaking. There was an odd silence. Then Nik spoke.

“I knew there was something different about me. I mean, I don’t mean to brag saying that I’m special or anything… But, I felt that I was different then the other people. But… But…” Tears started to form in Nik’s eyes, “If I DO go back with you… I’ll never… Get to see Amika… again.” Soluna was silent, but Osamu wedged his way over and gave him a bear hug, nearly squeezing the air out of Nik’s lungs.

“Don’t you worry. I’m sure Soluna-dono (Dono means Miss) will be able to talk things over with her Taichou, and I’m sure that things will come out all right.” Nik felt reassured by this. Kei, who was yet again teeming with energy jumped up.

“Well then, what are we waiting for?!?!?! Let’s go!!!!” Soluna rolled her eyes, then grabbed his arm and flipped him onto his back. She stared down on him menacingly.

“Like I said, this is a mission, not a game.” With that she pulled him back up and motioned the others to leave. Soluna was about to take a step forward when all of a sudden a tail lashed out of nowhere and made a grab for her. She dodged it gracefully and landed on one of the rooftops. Looking at the others, she shouted,

“You fools! Come on! We have to take out this hollow!!” Kei and Sahiden scattered around the hollow while Osamu stayed back to protect Nik. Kei and Sahiden, drawing their zanpaktous, began to hack away at the hollow, but to no avail. The demon kept dodging everything! Kei, jumping backwards looked up at Soluna angrily.

“A little HELP here please?!?!?” Soluna, finally breaking out of her seriousness giggled a bit while Kei started to get angry again. She flipped onto its back and called out to everyone.

“Everyone! Close your eyes!!” She began to recite a spell.

“Darkness falling,
World turned to ice.
With my will I call upon the light,
And break this never-ending night!” There was a flash of light, and then all of a sudden the hollow was screaming and thrashing about, trying to cover its eyes. Soluna landed next to Kei and gave him a push. “Give the finishing blow Kei!” Kei whipped his head around and stared at Soluna hopelessly.

“But I don’t have enough power to-“ Soluna let out a sigh, and pushed him a little more.

“Come on! You wanted action right? I know you have enough power in you, you just have to tap into it!!!” When Soluna was just close to his ear, she whispered, “Do you see that bright light inside of you?” Kei gasped. How did she know he had it? “I know you can see it. Reach out to it, take it and let it loose on the hollow. Hurry! My spell is weakening!!!” Kei closed his eyes and concentrated hard. With all his might he sprinted to the hollow, his body glowing more and more with every step. Yelling loudly he jumped up and slashed down hard on the hollow. The hollow, wailing loudly, split into a clean two-pieces, then disappeared into the atmosphere. When Kei opened his eyes, he was amazed to see that his Zanpaktou had changed a bit. Not much, but a bit (you can put in whatever description you want Ichigona ^_^) Soluna walked up behind him and clapped him on the shoulder.

“Good job. You have just succeeded in gaining Shikai. Pretty good, especially for someone who just came out of the academy.” Osamu, Sahiden and Nik looked from Kei to Soluna with bewilderment, then rushed over and whooped and hollered, congratulating Kei on his new powers. Kei, grinning jumped onto a trash can and raised his zanpaktou high. With this, he declared,

“I am the king of the world!!!” But before he could say anything else the trashcan tipped and once again he was flat on his face. Osamu, Sahiden, Soluna and Nik were all laughing loudly, with a now garbage covered Kei rubbing his head. Nik then walked ahead a bit, smiled broadly and then called out,

“Well? What are we waiting for??? I wanna see this world of yours right now!” the others laughed again, and with much chatting the small group headed for the METP-Gate.

Another long one! Oh man, I love writing… Maybe a bit TOO much ^_^

Oi, writing like this means ALOT of effort... And yet not at all because I get enough ideas from other people's posts that I don't need to ^_^

I realize there are ALOT of girl anime fans... But I have yet to find a mass group of guy anime fans... I mean, I see people doing cosplay... The typical anime fan guy with his big belly and unshaveness trying to be a girl on some other random anime... *shudder* Bad times, baaaaaaaaaad times.

Heh, my post in a long time or so it seems.
Ok, time to declare some words I used or will use in the future:
Realms: You could word these as worlds were people exist. The most frequent used by me will be:
Physical realm (world of the living, Earth)

Spirit realm (mirror world to physical realm, people end up here after they die if they are a type 3 soul, working area of Hollows and Shinigami)

Energy realm (world that includes Soul Society, the actual world of souls.)

Hollow Realm (if it can be called that way: intersection of realms where Hollows reside.)

Divine Realm (the Upper world, self-proclaimed by many Gods and Godesses, most Gods don't like Shinigami, as Shinigami tend to get in the way of the natural course of actions, Filtration: Law of the stongest. Only Type 1 souls would have a chance of entering this realm by themselves)

Demon realm (AKA Hell or Daemonium, The ones over there are hardly mentioned, Homerealm of many forms of Demons, devils and other Evil. Excluding Hollows. There is a constant state of war between the Divine and Demon realm as both represent the extreme sides.)

(Feel free to add a realm if you need to, but don't forget, every one of them has rules, laws who people must abide. ex. No Type 1 goes to hell)

Now we wonder, what are types of souls:
Spirit (Soul in the spirit realm, also called Ghosts, usually Type 3)

Soul (Energy form of a being)

Soul Type 1: The Divine souls, They skip the Spirit realm and can move to Energy realm by themselves, They also possess the ability to choose to go to the Divine realm. These can be called exceptional Humans that are way stronger than a normal one.

Soul Type 2: The Evil souls. Bound to go to hell, some rather choose a menacing way in the spirit realm or Hollow realm over hell. However that is merely because of their fear of the unknown. Hell is not as depicted previously by church and such. One in Hell cannot return normally though.

Soul Type 3: The normal Human, ending up in the spirit realm, they can be stuck there for various reasons, and actually need help from Shinigami to move on. (see my previous post somewhere on the forum...)

(feel free to add a few types. I didn't declare God, Demon, devil on purpose though. This will be added when needed.)

Naetell Ethare: "Brother" of Sahiden, more like an enemy though, Inventor of the METP and other various tools.

Vale Ethare: "Father" of Sahiden, took both Naetell and Sahiden in the house of Ethare back on their homeworld. (Sahiden first) He thought Sahiden how to fight and use various instances of magic. Vale himself is some kind of Leader of his group of Shinigami (like a president or king is to a country)
The actual decisions are made by a council who are re-elected every 100 years. (little time for energy beings)
Vale earned a permanent place in the council however as he was the founder of the idea Shinigami in his world.

Vale also is called a Creationalist. This means he Uses and experiments with the power of creation. He started early out with experiments like Alchemy, that influence matter. And later on learned various special techniques. Like energy fusing, the use of Creation matter and body alteration.
This makes Vale an exellent healer, fighter and scientist.

He thought Sahiden a few of these things but at this time Sahiden has forgotten many of these things.


And surely:
METP-, gate , gatelock, mark, diagram, space, tde-space, subspace,
gate-type: all are words that came out of Naetells research on transporting through Large amounts of space.
It's not like a normal transporter, therefor is only used for emergencies and very long distance transports. And only on permission of Naetell, Sahiden or Vale.
Soul Society has installed a smaller gate used as marker. The actual transport will happen through a main gate. The only one is on Sahiden's and Vale's homeworld in the lab where Naetell experiments with it.
From there any other gate can be used for transport.
(So if you are in SS, put in Earth-gate as destination then you will be transported to main gate, then retransported to Earth's gate. Even though there is a massive amount of space between the locations that way it still doesn't take more than seconds.
Once an Alliance is made between SS and Vale, SS will recieve the Second main gate ever built.
Naetell will hate you for using his gate though (he's not a nice person) as it is experimental.)
The main gate can transport, except to other marked gate's, also transport to any location using coordinates.
Any side-effects from transporting are possible and should be reported to Naetell.

So the group explained all about Soul Society and spirit force to Nik who readily digested all the information, which was quite impressive considering all that happened in the past few days. After recovering from the minor trauma of going through the METP Gate, Nik began to quieten down a little.

Nik thought about the four people who had just saved his life.
["Kei, the tall blond is so energetic and cheerful, yet somehow quite clumsy. Osamu scared the wits out of me at first, but he really does try to be gentle. Sahiden, well he is a mystery, maybe he's the quiet type. And Soluna, she is obviously the most powerful and experienced. She also seems to know a lot so maybe I should ask her about my powers... but after the way I acted, my ears won't stop burning everytime she so much as glances at me], curse my weakness!"

"Hey, are you okay?" rumbled a concerned looking Osamu.

Nik stammered, "Y-yeah, I'm fine thanks, totally okay-so where are going now, exactly?"

Soluna cheerfully told Nik, "We're headin' to the academy where they'll assess your spirit force and put you in one of the classes. Don't worry, you'll definitely fit in with all the other students who'll be on the same level as you." [but something is strange about the way your powers work, normal healing doesn't cause harm to the healer... and if you take on the injury from the patient and you died, does that mean you can bring people back from the dead?? If it is true then...]

With everybody absorbed in their own thoughts or conversations, Nik fell to the rear of the group and started daydreaming, something that happened whenever his mind wandered. Nik's dreamworld was always luminous white all around with a midnight black glob in the middle, that resembled the glob in a lava lamp. The glob had a silken-liquidy texture and Nik loved to play with it like putty. Through experience, Nik knew that the only to get out of the dream was to dive into the glob.However, something wasn't right this time, the white had never been so bright and the glob had never, ever been so HUGE! Nik cautiously swam into the oversized glob...

Instantly, the world went mad. The people up and down the street were covered in soft blue flames and panic spread just as fast. There was screaming, there was crying and people rolling on the ground trying to douse the unnatural fires. Kei, being sensitive to spirit force, was nearly knocked out cold by the pyschic explosion in his brain and Osamu rushed over to hold him up. Sahiden and Soluna rushed to where Nik was on his knees, bowed over, breathing hard and totally befuzzled. They each grabbed an arm and ran for the hospital.

As they ran past Kei and Osamu, Soluna yelled at them to follow and stop oggling like pair of imbeciles. One could hardly blame as spontaneous combustion is quite unnerving, but Sahiden and Soluna had basically seen it all before and knew that if it didn't hurt, then it's probably nothing to worry about, in the short term.

Then the people started to realise that it didn't hurt at all, and that it had a warm, invigourating feel. A few more seconds and the blue flames were gone, leaving no trace of its passing.

The shinigamis with Nik kept on running hard, they couldn't risk another random explosion of power. "Just what kind of a shinigami IS this guy?", they all wondered.

Yeh, their powers are downsized by like...3x or something....Renji said that somwhere, that was a good fict...a tiny bit confuzzo though (for me) so what happened with the people? They like explode or something??

Sun: Yeh that rule sounds good but i doubt this will get Uber popular, there's the proper one starting soon, this is a mini....right? ^^ I didn't pay much attension to Laguna, but yeah it seems that way :P

Sahiden: like whoa....that's totally confuzed me (i am a girl of simple mind) but not to worry, i'll drill it into my brain XD

now...TO THE FICT!

The shinigamis with Nik kept on running hard, they couldn't risk another random explosion of power. "Just what kind of a shinigami IS this guy?", they all wondered. Kei didn't run, even though he pretended to be full of energy the fight with the hollow had somewhat tired him. Not only that, but whenever Nik had one of his outbursts it drained him. Osamu stopped jogging and walked beside him.

"What's wrong?" Kei looked up at him wearily, he sighed and gave a weak smile.

"Nothing at all...I'm just a bit tired." Osamu laughed heartily.

"That's not like you! But with everything that's been going on today it's no doubt you're feeling tired." Osamu looked down at him. He was truthful and good-hearted, he seemed like a very open person but then again, he had been hiding his feelings all day. Osamu looked up.

"Not all day, just when Soluna joined out party...." Kei looked at him conffused.

"What?"

"Does Soluna make you uneasy?" Kei looked into Osamu's big knowing eyes, but said nothing. He looked away and walked slightly faster to the direction of the hospital. Osamu knew with that reaction, that it was true. He was wondering why he didn't answer.

'He's deeper than we think, all we see is a youngster that's full of energy. A clumbsy boy that people tend not to get involved with. He's deeper than that, maybe he doesn't know it either but to me at least it's obvious.'

Osamu was shocked out of his thoughts as he saw Kei staggaring. He rushed over to him and caught him before he fell. He was sleeping soundly.

"You really were tired..."

'Just a boy...now with no energy.'

He scooped him up and rested him on his shoulder, then he jogged to the hospital which wasn't too far now. When he reached the hospital, there were lots of shinigami crouding round a room, they weren't allowed to go in though. Osamu, as though following an invisible path, wadded though them and they parted as he walked. He walked into the room to find Sahiden and Soluna talking and 4th Squad shinigami tending to Nik. He wasn't hurt, he looked fine. They were puting seals on him. Kei stirred and looked over his shoulder.

"Hey look, it's your Squad, you should be doing this!" said Osamu. Kei grunted and wriggled of Osamu's grasp.

"Gimme a break..." Osamu laughed and patted his shoulder. Kei walked over Nik's bed and sat on it, he yawned.

"So how you feeling?" Nik smiled brightly.

"Oh i'm fine! These people said that i just have a little problem controlling my power. But i feel fine, i feel better to be perfectly honest." Kei smiled.

'That's cause you got all my energy.'

"As long as you alright and...." Kei's voice trailed off and he slumped, falling off the bed. Soluna and Sahiden stared at him.

"What's wrong with him now?" asked Soluna.

"He's exhausted." said Osamu picking him up. He was sleeping again.

"Exhausted? Over that little hollow? It wasn't even strong! Well i suppose it was sort of strong, but it didn't take a lot of effort." said Sahiden. Soluna looked from Kei to Nik and back to Kei.

"You've taken some of his energy Nik, probably to restore your own that was lost in the outburst."

"Some of it? He must have taken a truckload to get him to sleep like that!"

"That's true." she looked at Nik who was shaking and staring at Kei.

"I-I didn't mean to! I can't control it!" Soluna walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"It's alright, to be honest i'm glad he's asleep. He's been getting on my nerves all day."

"And mine."

"He doesn't bother me much, he's a laugh." said Osamu. He holstered Kei onto his shoulder and walked out, leaving Soluna, Nik and Sahiden to talk.

Kei woke again and tried to get out of Osamu's grasp, but Osamu had an Iron grip on him.

"You just rest, it's been a looooong day." Kei gave up instantly. Osamu laughed at this and patted him on the back. Kei slowly went through the day in his mind, first he had overslept. Then he had banged into Osamu (whom he thought was going to kill him) that turned out to be his friend. He was glad to have Osamu, most of his friends in the Academey are always to busy to be with him. Thirdly, he had met Sahiden who was pretty okay, but he frightened him somewhat when he got angry. Then Soluna, whom he admired for her skills, but she made him extremely uneasy. All day he had been running around, feeling new feelings and probably it was the first time he had been slapped. He rubbed his face remembering, then sighed and sank into Osamu's shoulder.

"How you holding up? We'll be at your quarters soon." Kei opened his eyes gently.

"Thank you." he said quietly and fell asleep.

Nik, Soluna and Sahiden had been talking for awhile now, but still Nik had un answered questions.

"But, so am i dead? Is this heaven?"

"Yes, this is the Soul Soceity. Heaven, yes."

"I see....but why did i die? I don't remember doing anything."

"I'm afraid we don't know anything either." said Soluna. Sahiden who had been quietly obseving spoke.

"Your powers are immence, that's for certain. You cannot control them which could be a problem, you'll need training on how to do this. For now, the charms and incantations drawn on that bandana will help you focus and control your powers until you can do so on your own. What you did wasn't harmful i don't think that your current powers can be used for harm, but be warned that you must know how to control them before you start using your powers in battle."

"B-Battle?!" Sahiden thought for a moment.

"Maybe not battle, there's a good chance you'll be put in the 4th Squad, but even so you'll need training and assessment before we talk about Squads." Soluna looked over at Sahiden.

"You talk just like a Captain."

"Wisely? That's all i am, wise. I'm going to my quarters now, call on me if anything happens." With that he walked out of the room Soluna did the same, and Nik was left to process the information. He lay back and rested.

Dooood!! That was totally awesome!! I wasn’t very confused, but some of the parts had me guessing :P But anyways, good job with your parts everyone!!!

SminG- Lol, no… It’s not that I’m a good writer; it’s just that I have a lot of ideas exploding in my head even now… Lol, “curse my weakness!” That was a great part, I laughed.

Sahiden- Sounds good. I’m guessing that Soluna would be part of the divine realm. It makes a lot of sense too. Oh yeah, I think I’m going to add classes to their powers. Like Class 1, type A… Would be the best one. Kinda like in Oh My Goddess.

Ichigona- Hmm… Uneasy… Umm… That’s why I love writing these rpg’s so much! People will write their own thing and you have to work from it ^_^ Lots of challenge and you have to understand everyone’s parts completely to be able to write a chapter well ^_^

But anyways… I’m gonna do another plot twist kind of thing. Not a big one, but… Ah, you’ll see when you read it! On to the story!!!


Soluna walked slowly down the hall of the hospital wing, deep in her thoughts.

‘Hmm… Sahiden… I know he is a captain from his realm yet he STILL does not realize it himself…’ Soluna sighed heavily. ‘And it’s already half a day and yet only one had improved.’ She stood outside Kei’s door for a moment. ‘For a novice such as him… He sure moves up the ladder fast.’ She paused when she heard conversation going on behind the door.

“Does Soluna-dono make you uneasy?” Soluna herself thought it vulgar to eavesdrop, but she still had a bit of human/shinigami in her… And that human/shinigami part willed her to listen.

“Iunno… It’s just… She seems to really dislike me. Or… I have no idea! It’s just that… She’s always watching me, and when I do something wrong she’ll either chastise me or throw me onto the ground and lecture me again!!!” Soluna chuckled under her breath when she heard the throwing part.

“Look, Kei. It’s not that Soluna-dono dislikes you or anything, I think it’s just that she wants all of us to grow and become stronger. Even though we’ve only known her for a bit, I feel that she’s pushing us much past our limits so that we can achieve something that not even us ourselves can imagine!!” There was a silence. Then Kei went on.

“I know… But, I really felt uneasy when that hollow attacked.” Osamu gave a big hearty laugh and then quieted down.

“Why, do you think that Soluna-dono had something to do with that???” Soluna heard Kei shift uncomfortably.

“Well… It seems like she KNEW the hollow was going to strike at that time. I mean, I know she’s powerful and everything but… For that moment…” There was a silence, “I saw her head move in the direction of the hollow… For a split second before the hollow even appeared!” Soluna’s eyes widened.

‘How could he have noticed???’ She wondered. Having enough, she left and started walking back to Nik’s room. ‘Hmm… I may have to be even MORE careful… I predicted them catching on to me quickly… But not this quickly…’ She shook her head. ‘No, that’s not important right now. Now, I’m going to have to focus on Osamu’s training. Hmm… I believe it’s going to take more then one measly hollow to untap his power… I might have to call upon a class 3 type A demon even… Hmm…’ When she got back to Nik’s room she saw him sleeping peacefully, his bedding sprawled all over the place. She smiled, placed the sheets back over him, then left.

‘I’m going to have to do to Daemonium…’ Soluna thought as she left the hospital.


Sahiden walked around the hospital’s outdoor garden, his mind wandering in many different directions at once.

“I sound like a captain? Was I a captain? I don’t remember…” Sahiden furrowed his brow in thought. ‘Hmm… Soluna seems to know more about me then I know of myself… Yet…’ He continued to pace around. ‘I think I’ve met her before… Yes! I have! … …I think.’ His mind started to grow with an immense dull pain as a handful of memories came back to him. Soluna talking to him, then handing him something… He fell hard to his knees as he gasped in and out, searching for breath. (Sun: Remember when Soluna mentioned that Sahiden needed to regain his memories because she needed something from him? Well, this is it.)

“I’m… Going to have to have a talk with Soluna…” After calming down he looked up at the bright blue sky, wondering about the things to come.


When Soluna reached the place of unforgiving treacheries, there was already a demon there ready to receive her. He was a cocky looking guy, tall and lean. He had long silver hair and red eyes, and he wore a black ninja type of suit. The man smirked at Soluna.

“Long time no see, eh goddess?” Soluna frowned.

“Look, I have no time to play games with you. I have a little favour to ask of you…”


And that’s the end of my part!! Ok, so here’s the explanation. Soluna was actually the one who summoned the hollow that Kei fought so that he could achieve Shikai. It’s not that she’s evil, it’s just that she needs objects of actual threat so that they can tap into their powers easier. Soluna would train them herself but she needs to keep her identity a secret.

Oh yeah, and don’t worry about the demon guy… He’s only a minor character and will disappear or something. He doesn’t really matter. Do with him what you will. Any other questions just post here and I’ll answer them for you!!!

Rest, Finally... Sahiden started thinking a lot about what happened.
He didn't inform the others offcourse... This was his business, his memory that has to be regained.
First off, the squads... I'm in 12th... What section is that... Research or something as I recall.
The letter, it had more than just the 2 assignments... The note from Vale concerns me.

Sahiden, please lay low for now. You'll be placed in a squad from here. I hope this helps you regain that what was lost. The negotiations are going great... However there are a few issues about things like punishments, academy stuff and research. You shouldn't worry though... I've been through this a lot. Don't try to explain who you are. And never forget the thing I told you the first time we met: Never try to draw on your full power unless there is NO other way. It might be harmfull in your case.

Then there was Soluna... I knew her before... I'll talk to her when i get a chance. Whenever that may be. She should know though... What I am.
It's like this was all planned out from the start... Who was that guy I fought when I first fot here... And why did I lose my memory from that fight...... I don't even remember who won...

If only I could use my full power. Maybe my memories are sealed along with my powers... I haven't fought since then. But how...
Sahiden wondered... and kept thinking...

Full power... That silver badge...
That is a license for you to unleash your shikai or bankai… When you achieve it. It will also allow you to tap into your full power when needed.

It was a sunny day.
Vale was sitting right in front of me, watching how I was training unarmed combat.
I couldn't do anything. Even these simulated enemies were my better.
Always ending the same... Me sitting on the floor, totally beaten up.
Earlier that day I said to Vale: I improved a lot since last time...
This time I'll beat the stupid simulation.
But it was useless. I couldn't pull a single decent hit.
That's when I suddenly shouted: Stop this, Nobody can win against this anyway.
That's when Vale stood up and said: Huh, you still got a lot of spirit, but you can't win because you're technique is about... 0.
I got angry: I can beat you... Old man.

I might be old... But you're no match for me at all. Vale responded.

Yeah right...

Okay then, fight me. Vale sounded serious and kidding at the same time... How did he do that anyway...

Vale was fast, he placed me on the ground even before I knew what happened.
He was mocking me...
So then I just went beserk...... I yelled at him: Don't fool around with me, old man. I'll kill you.
Vale was as cool as ever.
I did it again then. The bright light, starting from my hands, growing bigger, in the shape I wanted it to. Vale didn't seem suprised at all.
I materialised the energy I released. It was my second forged sword out of my own energy. My first one in complete form however.
I slashed at Vale, sideways from left to right. It would have cut him if he didn't dodge at such a speed. I paced up, but he kept dodging... We kept going like that for an hour...
Then this person walks in... He said Vale needed to go to meeting with the council... Vale said: In a minute.

Vale suddenly was way faster... He went across the whole room... In a flash.
He shouted: this is the end, because I honor you and you don't like me toying around with you... I'll end it like I should.
He made a few arm movements... Not very fast. But these circles suddenly came up on the floor... Energy circles..., A spell.
Vale suddenly shouted: Summon Blade: SIN RES ESU

The blade suddenly popped right out of the floor, the circles were giving off this absurd bright light.
Vale took the blade pretty cool right out of the air.
This is the blade that named itself, it ever called me it's best friend.
This is a true soul blade. This is Sin-res-esu.
Now I'll show you why this was forged with the properties of a foreign blade called Zanpaku-to. I learned this from my sensei. Who had seen much of the worlds. He was truly an old man Sahiden. And I never beat him once.

ANNIHILATE, SIN-RES-ESU
The sword seemed to accept this statement. As it became at least 100 times bigger... It took one swung of this giant blade too destroy the whole academy... And he just summoned that... The blade stuck through the ceiling.
Vale swung the blade as if it was a feather...
The building collapsed and I was beaten... my sword desintegrated as I lost consiousness.
That's when I heard a very familiar voice, a girls voice, SAHIDEN, What have you done.
I couldn't see her face that day... As I passed out.



Sahiden regains his focus... He sees the sky... He starts thinking again: I passed out... and this headache is killing me.

Now I know again... Vale was my first opponent who tried to swing a sword at me. And hit me pretty bad too. What happened after that anyway... I guess Vale repaired the whole building... I remember I practised a lot more there after that incident... I was so weak.
But what is my power now.

This badge also allows me to tap into my full power.
What would happen if I try that............

I can't do that now... If Vale is right.... Then I'll probably might harm these people here. I can't risk that... Naetell would kill me. He hates negotiations anyway. Actually.... Is there anything he doesn't hate...

IMPORTANT! MUST READ NOTE!!

Alrighty, k, I think there’s kinda some confusion. Me and Sahiden both put in a chapter at the same time… So I’m going to kinda mush that together to be like a super chapter… Umm… So you know the whole thing with Sahiden remembering stuff? I think I’ll place that when he was in the outdoor garden and such, just to make it not confusing. Is that all right? Ok, on with the story!!!

With the whole me handing package… That’ll kinda be before the whole thing. So, the chapter Sahiden wrote will kinda be like a flashback kinda thing, the whole thing with his memories and such. All right?

After Kei and Osamu got Nik, they went to find Sahiden and Soluna, but neither could be found. Guessing that the two must be out somewhere, the three left the hospital. Kei sighed, put his hands behind his head and started whistling. Osamu, walking inbetween Nik and Kei started talking to Nik.

“So, what did the squad captains want with you???” Nik stared at the ground ad kept walking.

“Well, they came in and told me that they didn’t want me to enter the academy.” Kei stopped whistling, spun around and stared at Nik angrily.

“What?!?! But then… What will they do with you?!?! If you want I can go and complain to the captains… They seem to-“ But Nik put up his hands in defence.

“No! No! It was nothing like that!” Quieter, with a little blush he muttered under his breath, “Soluna asked them to have me in your squad… She said that being in an environment like the academy could upset my powers even more.” Kei opened his mouth to speak, then clamped it shut. What was Soluna thinking? This guy in front of him had already taken some of his powers, what would happen next time??? It could be even worse!! Osamu touched Kei’s shoulder with his enormous hand.

“Trust Soluna-dono. She knows what she’s doing.” Kei nodded slowly, yet unsurely. He didn’t know what to think of Soluna right now. Was she a friend? A foe? Or something else entirely? Chills ran up and down his spine.

“It’s just that… She has this kind of… Regal grace… It’s really discomforting. Even though she’s part of 1st squad it feels more like… like…”

“Like she’s something different altogether.” Nik finished, “Yeah, I know what you mean. When I first met her she seemed to have this calm sort of regal stature, I was set off balance. But…” He turned to face Kei fully. “I trust her and what she does. That’s good enough for me.” Kei stared at the ground.

“Yeah…” Kei drew his zanpaktou, staring at its plainness. It was weird but, he seemed to have grown more attached to it. “It WAS Soluna who gave me that extra push to achieve shikai so quickly after all.” Kei shook his head roughly, running ahead.

“What am I thinking? Come on guys, we gotta go find Sahiden and Soluna!!!” Osamu and Nik both raced after Kei, shouting and pleading for him to slow down.

“Really Soluna, I didn’t expect you to become so attached to the Shinigamis… Especially not after what they did to your whole clan.” Soluna frowned at the demon, then spoke.

“I really do not think it is in your place to speak of what I can love or can’t love Vitalanie.” Vitalanie made a pouting face and then continued,

“Why, I’m just concerned about you Soluna. What with your whole clan being destroyed by hollows as all the captains from the shinigami world watched, and how your love was-“ Soluna stood up straight and stared at him dangerously.

“That’s enough. I did not come here to be lectured. Are you GOING to help me or aren’t you?” the demon smiled coyly and then stood up as well, towering over Soluna.

“Well, I do owe you one so I gauss I will. But,” He held up a finger in front of Soluna’s face. “On one condition.” Soluna frowned again.

“And that is?” Soluna didn’t like where this was going.

“You give me one hour to go into the divine world. I’ve always wanted to see it!” Soluna sighed, and then turned away towards the METP-Gate.

“I’ll do what I can.” Vitalanie whooped, then pranced joyfully away.

When Sahiden was finally rid of all the pain in his head, he went out to look for Soluna.

“I KNOW she had to have some answers about my past… I know it!” He thought aloud as he wandered around. But then he stopped. ‘Why should anything of mine be any business of anyone else’s anyways?’ He slowly started walking again. ‘But who was that girl? I don’t get any of this.’ As he turned a corner, someone bumped into him.

“Oh sorr-“ He stopped. It was Soluna. There was a silence between the two. Soluna, staring in curiosity asked,

“What’s wrong?” Sahiden was still trying to decide if he should tell her or not. He opened his mouth to speak, then,

“Hey! Guys! Where were you? We were looking EVERYWHERE for you!!! Come on!!! Shigekuni-Taichou wants to talk to us again!!!!” The two turned to see Kei bounding towards them. Soluna smiled at Sahiden.

“Later I guess?” Sahiden nodded numbly, and the group made their way towards the central court again.

Once there, they lined up again to await their orders. Shigekuni-Taichou eyed each one, then went back to his spot and began to speak.

“Very nice work, everyone. Tomorrow, you will have the day off.” Kei whooped, and started jumping around.

“All right!!” the Taichou put his hand up again.

“But, you will have to spend this day on Earth. We want all of you to use your pendants to materialise your souls until the nightfall of tomorrow. (So basically they want them to be in human form until late evening) Apparently there’s a demon wreaking havoc in the physical world and we need you to take care of him.” Osamu scratched his head.

“But why don’t we just do it tomorrow morning?” The others nodded. Shigekuni just kept going.

“We need all of you to become familiar with the human world, and besides, we can be sure that the demon WILL come out in the nighttime. A lot of demons hate the daytime, so this is the only sure-fire way to get rid of this demon. So, rest up and tomorrow you’ll be off to the human world. Dismissed!” As everyone walked off, chatter erupted immediately.

“Oh man, let’s go to that thing they call a caramel!!!” The others looked at Kei strangely. Nik was confused, and then clapped his hands together.

“Oh, you mean a carnival?” Kei ran ahead and started waving his hands around.

“Yeah! It’ll be so fun!!! There’s supposed to be a lot of stuff to do there, and everything’ll be great!!!” He paused, and then looked at Soluna. “Where are we going, exactly anyways?” Soluna rolled her eyes then opened the scroll. There was a pause, then her eyes widened. She didn’t speak. The others looked at her curiously.

“What’s wrong Soluna?” Nik asked. Soluna rolled the scroll up again and then muttered,

“Nothing. We’re going to… to… Nagoya.” Kei, sensing a tense silence coming up jumped around some more to break the silence.

“Awesome!! I wonder what’s there???” Nik looked thoughtfully at the sky, and then spoke.

“There’s supposed to be a festival there.” Sahiden looked up curiously.

“A festival? What kind of festival?” Nik set himself at a comfortable pace, then spoke.

“It’s called the Yue Festival. It’s a festival honouring the love between two people who were as opposite as day and night.” Soluna cringed at this remark. “Well, metaphorically speaking anyways. They say that when the two met, it was as if a piece of this world’s puzzle just clicked together. He had saved her from near death, as she seemed to be attacked by bandits and was barely alive. I don’t know the full story but, all I remember my mom saying is that there was a war, between the emperor and his people. The boy and girl had both gone into the war without the knowledge of the other, but when the two met again it was a sorrowful meeting.” Kei’s eyes widened.

“Really? What happened?”

“The guy was stabbed by some unknown force, and fell to the ground. Now that I think about it, I bet it was a hollow that had stabbed him. The girl seemed to have mysterious powers, and with her spells she healed him.”

“I bet anything she was a shinigami!” Kei added. Nik nodded, then went on.

“Well, since the only thing at the time the girl was thinking about was the wound the boy sustained, she was left wide open for an attack. So, just as the boy regained consciousness an arrow shot straight through the girls heart… And she died. When this happened, there was much silence among everyone. This girl was well known among everyone, and when she died everyone was speechless.” Nik sighed tragically, “This festival is to honour the love between those two. The village decided to create this festival because the felt an obligation to set this memory into stone, to remind everybody that it wasn’t families that hated each other or anything like that that tore them apart… It was war.” There was a silence, but Osamu nodded his head appreciatively.

“I think that this is a well deserved festival.” The other guys nodded their heads in approval. Soluna cleared her throat, then walked ahead quickly. Turning back, she exclaimed,

“We should be getting some rest. It’s going to be a big day tomorrow. I’ll see you guys later.” Without waiting for a reply she left without a word, leaving the guys in minor confusion. Kei shook his head then laughed.

“Aw, never mind her! We’re gonna have a great time tomorrow! Let’s get some rest!!” And with that the rest of the group went off to their rooms to sleep (I have no clue where they sleep so let’s just assume that they know where they’re going.).

Soluna leaned against the wall of her room, then slid down into the fetal position. Putting her head into her hands, she cursed Vitalanie quietly.

“How DARE you mess with my emotions Vitalanie… How dare you…”

Kei, once Osamu had left, got up from his bed and stretched. He felt desprately tired but his curiousity and subborness wouldn't allow him to be still. He looked around his room, it was fairly simple with not much in it. He found a small ornament by the door. It was a small dragon made of crystal, it glowed slightly as he poked it with his finger. He knelt down infront of it and stared at it, poking it again. His brain was screaming at him: 'Don't touch it! Just walk away! WALK AWAY!' but he chose to ignore this and placed his hand on the ornament. It glowed fiercly and made a high pitched screeching noise (like a kettle). Kei lifted his eyebrow as it becan to crack, and then--

Osamu was not 15 minutes of leaving Kei when he heard an explosion behind him and a rather high pitched scream. He turned around and ran towards Kei's room, he had a feeling that his clumbsy friend had done something. He was only a few feet away from his bedroom when Kei came running out screaming. He caught him as he was about to run into him.

"What in the name of The Sacred Being hapened?!" he said. Kei was shaking quite badly and still screaming quite insanely.

"Dra-Dragon!! It-It-It!! DRAGON!!" he screamed out. *Osamu sweatdrop*

"Kei what do you mean? A dragon came into your room?" Soluna came running up behind Osamu and looked at Kei.

"Kei why are you.....smouldering...?" Kei looked at her with his lip trembling.

"Dragon!! Dragon!!" Soluna furrowed her brow.

"Dragon? There isn't any dragons here....stupid boy. What happened?" Kei just repeated what he had said before. Soluna stared at him, most of his robes had burned away revealing his chest, stomach and just a little below his hips, shreds of clothing were strewn across his chest. His hair was covered in soot and there were only strands of blonde here and there, and his left eyebrow was slightly singed. He himself didn't appear to be burned, a little on the left hand side of his face, she guessed he had turned that way when the So-Called dragon attacked. Kei was now standing with his back to Osamu, who was giggling. Sahiden raced around a corner and saw Kei.

"Ah so it was you that was screaming like a little girl." Kei lost his spaced out look and growled at him.

"I was not! If you had come face to face with an exploding dragon you would have screamed too!!" Sahiden raised an eyebrow.

"An exploding dragon? What the hell have you been smoking? And speaking of smoking, what happened to you?" Kei blinked, an ember of clothing falling from him.

"I just told you, a dragon exploded!"

"Yeah yeah, Soluna, i need to speak with you." Soluna nodded. She walked over to him and turned back to Kei. Kei turned around to face Osamu.

"Why don't they believe me?! That's what happened!" He heard insane laughter behind him, he turned to Sahiden and Soluna who were almost collapsing in laughter. Kei frowned.

"What're you two laughing at?!"

"You-Your ass is show-showing!" managed Sahiden, almost on the floor. Kei looked behind himself to find that his right buttcheek was showing, it had a little scratch on it. He gave an unmanly scream and threw himself backwards against a wall.

"Hahahaha! You're a laugh a second Kei!" Said Sahiden turning. "Oh and, Black hair suits you." he added. Kei lokked upwards and saw a strand of his hair.

"Ahh! My hair!" Sahiden and Soluna left together to take care of buisness, then Kei and Osamu entered his room. Parts of the ornament were strewn around the floor.

"See!? A dragon exploded!" Osamu chuckled.

"Yes a crystal one. What did you do to it? It's in tiney bits!" Kei shuffled a bit.

"Touched it?"

"You mean it exploded just because you touched it? Dear me, you must have some lethal powers."

"Oh my yes! Curse my awesomely lethal powers!" he said shaking his fist at the ceiling. Osamu chuckled again and patted his shoulder.

"Get changed and get some rest." He ruffled his hair. "You little rascal." Osamu wiped his hand as it was now black with soot. He walked out of the room and shut the door. He heard Kei stagger into bed. He shook his head and wandered down the corridor, e looked in on Nik and smiled. Unexpectedly he opened his eyes.

"Oh, you awake?"

Nik lay awake and studied the shadows on his ceiling.

"Man oh man, what have I gotten myself into now? 'You're one of us now' So I'm a shinigami, duty bound to bring ghosts into Soul Society and... fight hollows... fight. Ugh why does everyone here know how to fight so well? Even Kei, clumsy and cheerful Kei has a huge sword that he can chop up monsters with... and what do I get, a dagger?!?

Nik's hand emerged from under the covers holding a thin 15 inch dagger. About the only distinguishing feature was the finely carved phoenix head at the bottom of the handle.

"What am I supposed to do with this, make toast? Now I have go back to earth and fight a hollow and I don't even know how to fight. What was Soluna thinking!? Talk about throwing me in the deep end. Well I obviously can't rely on strength, *sigh* guess I'll just have to stick the hollow in the butt while he's not looking, ahuh.

The soul slayer whispers to Nik, but he doesn't recognise it and dismisses it as the wind. But the shadows cast by the leaves remained dead still, unfortunately, Nik didn't notice.

Nik realised he needed a strategy, "Speed is the key, but not reckless speed... control... yes that's what the others were on about, control.

Nik quietly got dressed and checked the the moon, "Okay, I've got about twelve hours before dawn." He tip-toed down the hallway, stole across the front lawn and climbed up onto the observation tower by the obstacle course.

"This should be far enough, don't want a repeat of today's mayhem. Soluna had suggested that I visualise my spirit force and mold it into a symmetrical form, but Sahiden stated that all I needed was the passion, the will to do whatever I wanted. Probably a balance of both is best."

Nik easily entered his dream world, which curiously enough seemed to be much easier to do after he'd died. Instead of imagining a giant glob, he tried to picture a perfect cube. It turned out to be more difficult than he anticipated. Much more difficult. The glob just kept on warping out of shape. By the time he'd forced the stubborn glob into an acceptable cube, the moon had moved half-way across the sky and he was drenched is sweat.

"Okay, now for the finale." Nik held out his hand, palm out towards the flat wooden side of the platform. He thought of how hot the cooking stove could get when it turned red, and how painful it was when he'd accidentally touched it one day. Then, in his mind, he swam into the blach cube and... WHOOSH! A flame shot out of his hand and it was Purple!

Nik had managed to singe the board, it couldn't even be seen in the dark and the only evidence was the smoky burnt smell.

"Ugh! Maybe I'm just tired... nah, Sahiden was right, I need the drive to succeed. I was never really good at pysching myself up. I'll just have to wait and see. When the hollow attacks, then I'll have plenty of need."

Nik trudged back to his room to sleep for a bit, remebering too late that he didn't want to be caught out. Luckily for him, nobody was woken up by his stomping around. At one point, he thought he heard sniffling, but then again he also thought he heard whispering earlier, "I'm losing my mind."

Kei rolled out of bed as he heard a loud knocking on the door. he gave a muffled 'ow' and staggard to the door. Rubbing his forehead with th back of his hand he opened the door. It was Soluna.

"Yes?"

"It's morning, time to.....to..." Soluna stared at him, at his naked body. He only had a cloak over one shoulder covering him. Soluna blushed and smacked him one across the jaw.

"GET DRESSED!" and she slammed the door together. The others looked at mortified. Kei moaned on the floor of his room.

"Like....ow...." he got dressed quickly and went outside, he rubbed his jaw as he looked a Soluna.

"Let's go, we're late as it is!" And she stormed on ahead. Nik walked at Kei's side while Osamu and Sahiden walked togther in front. Nik whispered.

"What on earth did you do to deserve that?"

"Well for 2 reasons i believe; 1. I slept in, and 2. I was naked." Nik blinked, he was now in Death God uniform.

"I see...why were you naked though?"

"I was so hot last night, didn't you feel the heat?" Kei asked, a droplet of sweat rolled downhis face.

"Um...actully we were all talking about how cold it was last night."

"Cold? Seriously? Damn....." he smacked his fist into his other hand.

"What?"

"I think i'm sick, but don't tell 'ol Iron boots up there, she'll whoop my ass." Nik giggled

"She isn't mean you know, you just think she is." Kei shrugged. The all got on the METP-gate and braced for going to Earth, Kei felt sick again, but this time didn't make a thing of it. When they reched their destination they realised that they were wearing ordinary clothes. Kei stared at his get up, he was wearing jeans and a shirt with a top with long sleaves under it. They were all pretty weirded out with the clothing.

"What the FREAK is up with my clothes?!" Soluna looked at him and rolled her eyes.

"Your clothes reflect your personality, but they look normal to some extent. They couldn't have you NAKED now could they?" Kei's face drained of amusement.

"Pfft! Whatever, let's just get to the festible huh? Enjoy ourselves!! Yeah!" he said cheering up and jumping around. Nik liked Kei, he was almost the opposite of him.

"Yes lets!"and they all wandered out onto the buisy street. It wasn't going to bre starting for awhile so they settled down on a patch of green and talked.

"Yeah, so....how do i train then?" asked Nik, he touched his bandana.

"Well you'll need to take that bandana off for one thing." Soluna cleared her throat and he too it off. Kei felt a surge of power go through him, which followed in him feeling drained afterwards. he slumped a bit having to lean on his arms for support.

"So what do i do now?"

"Try to focus your energy, on....ah here!" she picked up a big rock and placed it in the middle of the circle. "Now then, focus on the rock, imagine it in your mind and then release your power." Nik did this, straining. He imagined the rock, he was trying extremely hard. He heard Kei talking to Osamu. This had been a bad thing as he imagined Kei in his mind. He opened his eyes to try and prevent this, but in doing this, he had released the power. Kei senced was was coming and braced himself. But he couldn't deflect it, all he saw was darkness. A few minutes later he saw Soluna above him. She was blurred, and going in and out of focus. He slept

"I'm so sorry!!"

"It's alright, a few hours sleep and he'll be fine. That should be long enough for the festible to start." she looked over at Nik. "Put your bandana back on and lets go for a walk."
