This thread is in the wrong place. This is for Bleach talk, not computers. For computers go to"Entertainment" and "Computers and Tech".

yes, please make sure your topic is in relation to the section your posting it in.
anyway, I use outpost firewall,
hasn't given me any problems yet
How does a window xp firewall slow down your computer anyway? Window XP firewall is decent enough, and is probably uses less resources than most anyway since its already included in windows

Yeah...I didn't even know Window's Firewall used any real amount of RAM xD
Any firewall you can download will use more RAM than windows firewall....i think x.x
Are you sure your computer is slowing down and not just the internet?
Use Zone Alarm or the avg firewall. I use both and they are good. What are the specs of your comp anyway?

Im not sure - its really weird that windows firewall would be slowing down your computer - are you sure its not something else causing the problems
and exactly how do you know that it is windows firewall doing it? - because i think any other firewall that you would download and use, would use up more ram than the windows one.
I suggest looking into anything else that could be slowing down your computer :)

Use........nothing. I am certified to work on computers and yet I am too lazy to bother downloading and setting up a firewall. Instead, I keep a stack of backup CDs in my cabinet and run anti-virus/ant-spyware apps every now and then. Unless you have an ancient machine, then it's most likely not Windows Firewall. Post the specs for your machine if you want real help. I think it's probably just viruses, spyware, etc.
