Hi guys - hope you can help me^^

I got a good old CRT monitor from my father and wanted it to use as a pseudo-TV (I want to put it in front of my bed, so that I can watch Bleach while lying in my bed :toocool:)

My main TFT and the CRT have different max. resolutions (1280x1024 / 1024x968) so the CRT currently only shows a part of the screen (Clone-Mode).

The question is: Is there a possibility that I can set my second monitor so that it only shows video-outputs (got from VLC or other vid.players) like on the normal video output?

btw: I have this ATI X1600 Pro AGP graphics card.

thx, for help

set the video resolution of your secondary monitor to the monitors max resolution rather than above it . . .

configure it so that the screens are independent from each other or dualview... then simply drag the video player into the screen u want.

Its not intelligent to use a TFT with 1024x768

as soon as you drag the player into second screen you can simply full screen the player like normally.
if you use hydravision and catalyst control center you can set your player to default open in that window since CCC has memory of applications use.
