Weakest captain..... Unohana Retsu of the 4th division because of her specialty in healing arts that would probably be her main focus instead of physical attacks.

Weakest vice-captain will probably the vice captain of the 13th.... for you that dont know who i am talking about.... Kiyone's little sister (the one who has orange hair and wears white gloves. Or the other one that wants to be the vice.

I would have to agree that Unohana is the weakest captain (physically weak, but useful in other areas).

Weakest VC is tough considering we haven't seen much of any of em in fights (except renji), so I'd also have to agree with the two 13th divison people (since they're both still 3rd seat, so they can't be too terribly amazing or one would have moved up by now).

And the answer the question about Ohamaeda, I believe he is of one of the royal families (I think I saw that somewhere)

Yeah.. if thats the case then why is he vice captain. Being a son of a noble family does not qualify you to become a vice captain... right???

Soi Fong would probably be one of the best captains..... fast, Pretty strong and two strikes from her Shikai listen people.... (not bankai) can killl anyone.... imagine what her bankai is

You also have to remember; Bounto=fillers. The things that happen really have no meaning for any of the characters, so Soi-Fong vs. the Boutno is a pretty meaningless fight.

The weakest captain, something that has been hinted at over and over, is Hitsugaya Toushiro. Being the youngest of all of the captains he is physically and skillfully the least developed of all of them. Renji and Ikkaku are on equal footing with him, as shown in the Arrancar Invasion. I don't remember Ikkaku even having to use a limit removal, though he could have when the action was focused elsewhere.

Even though her power isn't proven, Unahana is the only captain that Aizen backed down from during his betrayal. She is also one of the two captains who saw though or caught on to Aizen's hypnosis. (Komamura being the other before getting blown to hell and back by Aizen's Black Coffin.) She also seems to be revered and highly respected.

Among the Vice Captains, it's between Ohamaeda and Kotetsu Isane. Ohamaeda obviously since he's a rude, gluttonous, cowardly, fatass with no real combat skill besides getting rock'em sock'em'd by Ichigo. Isane I would consider as well since she hasn't shown any real ability besides high-level Kidou.

Naturally I would go defending the 4th div, because I'm fond of healers. Hence, why Inoue is my favorite character. But physically, they are never the best. :sad

Hitsugaya may be young and undeveloped but that is the exact thing that makes him strong.. stronger than Byakuya maybe when he grows up. Try to remember that he is the youngset of all and he is already a prodigy.. Try Remebering Soi Fong, and the others when they where young. Where they as half or even 1/10 the strength of Hitsugaya?? Not to be rude to all the Soi Fong fanatic but, she is indeed strong and very fast but we cant neglect the fact that she was the only captain that was ever injured in the bounto fight and not to mention that the bounto that she fought was one of the weakest one.. Hitsugaya fought against the bounto's second in command and came out without a scratch.

I can't decide who is the waekest capt. but for the VCapt. Im pretty much sure and it is by no doubt Ohameda... He really is the weakest link, why did he became a VCapt?

But then being a hot blooded makes hitsugay the weakest becuase he really fell to aizens trap without even thinking.

Although Hitsugaya is young, and definately will improve, I believe that this thread is asking who is the strongest NOW. Therefore, you can't use "he could be stronger than Byakuya when he gets older" as a truly valid point.

And again, things that happen in the filler arc can't be used to evaluate the characters; fillers don't have to make sense at all: Ichigo went Ogichi like five hundred times, EVERYONE used bankai every second, etc., etc.
