Cookies for the CB soul

Welcome to cookies for the CB soul, a section in the Newsletter issue where Planeswalker and I will be solving your harshest problems. We'll be featuring it in every upcoming issue of the CB Newsletter.

Being quiet about certain things isn't the best solution, so if you're bothered by something, come to us and we'll provide you with the care you need. Feel free to pm me (http://forums.bleachportal.net/z/index.php?z-profile=Evanesque) or Planeswalker (http://forums.bleachportal.net/z/index.php?z-profile=Planeswalker) with questions you've got on your mind and we'll do our best to fix your crumbled cookies :redbiggri
We're always here to help!!

I'd like to thank all those who've bravely pm'd us with their problems. We appreciate it and would like to encourage you all to please keep 'em coming :D

Below are the few we've answered in this issue, more in the next! So keep the cookies crumbling!

Crumbled cookie: I've been facing a problem but it's not in real life. Well actually I feel dumb writing to you about it but since you're here to help, I hope you'll help me and not give out my name.

It has to do with the e-marriage thing. Well I was married to this guy and he's so sweet and everything but I get jealous whenever he's around CB talking to the other girls. I know this is really stupid because I know you might say this is just the internet, etc etc...

I know our marriage is just a play along but I just can't help feeling this way. He's been pretty close to one of my e-sisters...and they talk a lot on msn. How can I stop myself from making a big deal about it? I don't want him to think I'm an idiot for making a scene for an e-marriage. HELP!

Planesy's cookie solution: Heh first of all dont feel stupid. I myself have gotten horribly emotionally mixed up in an e-situation that I dont quite think has been resolved yet.

I would advise getting information from both of them. The attitude is generally that this e-thing is just for fun, no? So in that case casually direct a coversation towards their feelings to the other person. Questions like "What do you think of Anon?" or "would you ever go out with somebody like Anon?" might be good. From here you need to judge their response.

If they avoid the question and change the subject then dont stop them. However in that case chances are they have something they would rather not tell you.

The feeling of jealousy implies that you do like this guy beyond an e-thing. So perhaps oen thing you could do is subtly declare your intentions? For example amping up the lovey dovey talk. It might also be an idea to discuss a possible future RL thing? Nothing too deep. Just enough to skim the romantic surface.

Your last option is to just tell the guy straight out the situation and what your feeling. This method is both the best and the worst. It is the quickest way to answer you questions, however it could also lead to humiliation.

I hope this will help you ^^

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Crumbled cookie: Hi Eva/Planes, I'd like to remain anonymous please. I've been facing some problems in school and on CB. I find it hard to socialise and speak to people. Some even mistake me for being anti-social. I'm a nice guy, I try to be funny sometimes but unfortunately it turns out lame. I want to make new friends, I really do but I just can't seem to gather the courage to speak out. I want to be popular and hang out without any social problems.

Ev's cookie solution: We respect your privacy and as promised, we won't name you. It seems that you are suffering from inferior complexity. It's a condition where you feel low compared to other people around you.

The things you've told me are typical symptoms. Because of this, you may tend to exaggerate something that's not even true. Don't ever feel inferior towards anyone.

Though some people tend to be a bit more braver than you, it doesn't mean they are better than you. Only you can change things around you. You have learn to learn to be yourself and everyone will love you for who you are.

You said you try to be funny but end up looking lame, that is mainly because you're trying to be someone else. Perhaps being funny isn't your strong point but you must have something to be proud of. You might excel in a certain field that others don't.

Try to change your perspective on the world, even when it seems like the world is giving up on you, fight back. You have no reason to feel left out or lonely. You just have to work on your confidence and everything will turn out fine :)

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Crumbled cookie: I wish to remain anonymous. My question and query. What do you do when you realise that people who should be in the same boat as you and the same frame of mind and should be sharing their ideas and thoughts with you continually keep you out of the communication loop? looking forward to my answer in the newsletter.

Planesy's cookie solution: This really does depend on the situation...but I will try to be as broad as I can.

If you have people who you feel are on your level (Whether it be the workplace or elsewhere) and are keeping you out of the loop you must confront them. You can do this either quietly, directly or both.

The quiet option is to casually slip questions about a paricular project (or whatever it may be that you feel they should be sharing ideas for). The best way to go is to express your views on it first. After you have expressed yourself the other person should feel a need to equalise the conversation with their thoughts. If they dont then thats a pretty solid indicator they are keeping you out of something. So we move on.

Directly confronting them is good, only if you absolutly sure they are keeping things from you. Using the quiet option first is a good way to find this out. After that tell them what you are feeling. How you feel you should be included in the loop. Make sure to throw in that your all in the same boat and that keeping things from each other will only hinder things on the whole.

Whatever you do, dont do nothing. Situations like this need to be resolved ASAP.

I hope this advice will help you =D

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Crumbled cookie:Well I dont need help but I would like insight :D
Name: Chris
Age: 20
Gender: Male
The concept of goals and dreams. What do you guys think? Idealistic or Realistic? Is it silly to think of goals that look impossible? What is the purpose of having such a goal? Something to drive you to succeed? A purpose in life? I'll look foward to your answer in the NL

Planesy's cookie solution:

Hi Chris,

Goals and dreams are a tricky subject. There is no doubt that they are needed to move forward in life, however setting a seemingly impossible goal can sabbotage your progress. Firstly because in the back of your mind you know its pretty much impossible. When you have a goal you need to be commited to it, with almost no self doubt at all. Setting a goal you think may be impossible will make you much more likely to give up. The second thing is even if you are 100% dedicated to it, it may indeed be impossible and you could suffer a huge blow when it doesnt happen.

Having a lot of small goals is better than one big goal because they are easier to accomplish. It also improves your self esteem when your constantly achieving little goals, instead of struggling your whole life to achieve one huge thing.

If you are going to set a seemingly impossible goal, then it would help to break it into smaller goals so you can feel like youve accomplished something even if you dont get all the way there in the end.

I hope this has helped ^_^

The Aizen Interview:

CBNL: Have you ever met Kubo Tite (the creator of the original Bleach manga)? If not, would you like to?
AIZENVOX: I have never met the original manga or anime creators for any show I've worked on. They rarely come to the U.S., if at all. I'd certainly like to meet any of them if the opportunity arises.

CBNL: What do you think of the show thus far?
AIZENVOX: As of this interview, I have only seen the first DVD. I don't usually have time to watch much of anything due to a hectic schedule. I prefer to watch anime in English. I'm just too lazy to read, heheh. I've found that I can't eat and watch subtitles at the same time. But "Bleach is really good, and I can't wait to see more.

CBNL: Was it hard playing a character like Aizen?
AIZENVOX:I have only dubbed him once at this point. I don't find portraying any character as hard. Sometimes a particular voice may be hard to maintain....or if you have to do a lot of screaming (which I do with Ganju Shiba, my other character). The voice I give Aizen is very calm, deep, almost soothing. I can't wait to do more with him.

CBNL: Do you enjoy playing Aizen?
AIZENVOX: I enjoy playing any character simply because I love my profession of voice acting. Every session brings a new challenge. Its always fun and I'm blessed to work with spectacular fellow actors and directors. From what the fans have told me of Aizen...I am DEFINITELY excited to portray the character throughout the show.

CBNL: Does your voice ever get recognized in public?
AIZENVOX: Outside of convention appearances, nope. My normal speaking voice is probably closest to adult Gohan from Dragonball GT. One time though, I was at a game store, paid by credit card and the employee recognized my name because he was a Dragonball fan.

CBNL: Have you ever searched the web for fan reactions to a character you're voicing?
AIZENVOX: Oh yeah, all the time. Why do you think I'm lurking around at Bleachportal.net?

CBNL: Do you watch much anime? If so, what's your favorite anime?
AIZENVOX: I am usually so busy that my pile of anime DVDs to watch is always pretty high. Some personal faves are Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, and currently Naruto and Bleach.

CBNL: Do you socialize with the other voice actors and actresses?
AIZENVOX: I would love to hang out with more of them more often, but everyone is always so busy. We tend to see each other as a session is wrapping/beginning or at conventions. They're all a wonderful, genuine group though.

CBNL: What do you think of Club Bleach so far?
AIZENVOX: They always say a fansite can outshine an official site any day of the week, and that's definitely true of Club Bleach. Just like Narutofan, Club Bleach is overflowing with info and imagery. It has a great layout and a really fun community.

CBNL: And lastly, do you enjoy being a voice actor?
AIZENVOX: Doing voice acting has been a lifelong dream. I moved to Los Angeles with the ultimate goal of voicing cartoons. I got my start with anime (of which I'm also a fan) and am very lucky to be a part of such popular shows such as Naruto, FMA, and now, Bleach. I love travelling the country, meeting and hanging with fans at conventions. In the end, I get paid for doing something I love. You can't ask for more than that.

FOTM Winning Submission by 風水

The vivid blood stains on his vestments were terribly familiar, just as the ones upon the blade of his katana. For a moment, as he gazed across his sword-struck chest, he felt a feeling of déjà vu, as if that episode of extreme violence had happened before. Maybe it was the smell of blood that was distorting his perception, but similar scenes began to cycle through his mind at a chaotic rate: blades flashing one into one another, and red showers of blood sacrificed to the merciless god that was called War. The cold wind passed through their hair and struck their faces, as if warning them to continue; he could hear calls of war echo with them, calling for battle, and battle was good.

The blood gushing out of the diagonal cut on his chest was slowly taking his life force, little by little, drop by drop. The wound had to be closed, and it had to be done before it led him to defeat, and, consequently, death. The shinigami was still growling, almost as a dog, as he put the blade of the sword next to his wound. His lips moved slowly, but with determination, forming two perfectly articulate words: Burn, Tainomachi. Tainomachi burst into flames, sending hot searing waves of pain around it. The dog/shinigami wailed for a few very long seconds as the wound was burnt back into his skin, leaving behind only a scar, and the smell of overdone meat. The pain rendered him helpless, a mere child in front of a wolf, but the one standing before him did not bare his fangs; instead, he fled.

And the dog/shinigami followed.

Betrayal. A fleeting thought within the mind of a animal, but fuel to the engine of the shinigami, that which kept him running. He glared at the back at the traitor, a wolf amongst lambs, but scum in his eyes. The time to act had come for the guard dog. The chase was on. He followed the wolf/traitor through treetops and over rivers, endlessly pursuing his filthy smell into the night, aided only feeble rays of moonlight and the ever tiring will to complete his master’s order. He could feel the muscles in his feet become strained more and more, until the moment he believed that he would no longer be able to continue. More than once he stumbled and nearly collapsed onto the forest floor, but somehow, he managed to keep his pace, always taunted by the odour of his companions’ blood coming from the wolf’s fang. That battle was no longer physical; it was a battle of resolve and of determination – which would prevail, a wolf’s instinct for survival or the guard dog’s undaunted motivation?

The chase carried on into the night, until the crimson morning sun rose with a glorious explosion blinding rays of light. Within the think foliage of the forest they shined upon the two rivals, showing to the pair how worn out they had become. The wolf quickened his pace, in hope of discouraging the dog, but the latter did not stop either. For hours they circled through the same places, attempting to bring an end to the chase, but neither one seemed to give up. The way the wolf held his tail, high and proudly, even while running. You’ll never get me alive. The guard perceived those very words in his movements. He would have replied, but words were nothing if spoken to the dead.

The wolf stopped. He looked at the tired dog that bared his fangs at him. The wolf returned the favour, and the two began to circle each other again, a new cycle of their seemingly endless conflict. Suddenly, the wolf/traitor attacked, jumping with his jaws wide open, read to cleave the dog/shinigami’s throat, but he missed. The guard dog jumped sideways and stretched his claws towards his shoulder. The wolf howled, and then it began to growl more menacingly than ever. Once again, it pounced, almost as a feline, but the dog dodged and bit the wolf. The warm blood that his fang felt was more satisfying than anything else he had experience. It was sweet and red, as apples, ripe for eating. The wolf howled again, stronger than ever, but the dog was not dismayed: it bit and bit, and tore the wolf’s fresh right of his bones. The smell of the blood was so inebriating that the dog’s vision began to sway from one side to another, a blinding pain surging from the side of his neck.

He collapsed, looking upon the traitor’s body, the bloody mass of a soon-to-be-dead, yet unpunished Judas. The shinigami held on to life, even as he felt pain as never before; he kept his eyes fixed on the traitor’s eyes, waiting for the moment in which the light would have vanished from them, the same moment in which he would savour a victory like none other, and yet, he would taste death as soon he did.

It happened. The traitorous wolf died, his eyes left open as a testament of his hollow soul. The shinigami, however, did not feel satisfied. The only thing he felt was despair. The images of his dead friends were returning, so as the words of his masters. Slowly letting go of his life, he wished for death to finally take him; and as the darkness closed in on him, for a moment, he thought he heard a woman’s voice…the wisdom of the ages…whispering up from the chasms of the earth; thus was his end.

Zenryoku's Interview by IRC

<yoruichi_sama> Um whats your Nick name among your Buddieeees?
<zenryoku> Christof
<yoruichi_sama> Where do you live?
<zenryoku> The Mitten State
<yoruichi_sama> What interested you in CB?
<zenryoku> You, of course
<zenryoku> Nah, it was Bleach. I saw the forums and wanted to see what they were about and decided to join
<yoruichi_sama> Lol You are an RP fan aren't you? tell us about RP here
<zenryoku> It's fun. Umm... I really only joined because I hadn't ever done any RP'ing online before. I used to play Dungeons and Dragons back in the day and thought this might be a nice change of pace. I was right and it is fun. Anybody that likes to RP or just that likes to beat the living hell out of people then you should join
<yoruichi_sama> ok so tell me what is the most embarressing thing that happened to you or the funniest?
<zenryoku> Embarassing? Probably getting my shirt and shoes stolen while I was swimming. I was wearing short shorts too because I couldn't find my swimming trunks. I had to go the entire day with just those shorts because I was on a field trip and nobody had thought about bringing extra clothes...
<yoruichi_sama> I wish I was there :3
<yoruichi_sama> What do you do in your free time?
<zenryoku> Free time?
<zenryoku> lol recently all my free time just means more time at work. But normally I play with my Wii or go hang out with my buddies. Bowling, movies, DDR, etc.
<yoruichi_sama> You are straight?gay or bi?
<zenryoku> Contrary to popular belief I am neither gay or bi. I am straight. Sorry gentlemen but Sarah made me realize what I was missing with women.
<yoruichi_sama> Lol..Ok then what do you like in your woman?
<zenryoku> I'll spare the cheesy jokes for this question. All of my women must not have a penis. That's a big must. Really personality helps but I go mainly for looks at first and then I check personality later. Basically, I'm shallow and proud of it.
<yoruichi_sama> Its good to be honest!
<yoruichi_sama> so describe yourself in afew words or as much as you want.
<zenryoku> I'm hot, smart, athletic, irresistable, and I have a huge ego. I think that about sums it up.
<yoruichi_sama> Thats amazing xD
<yoruichi_sama>] so Um what are your favourite animes?
<zenryoku> Bleach, Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, Trigun. Not necessarily in that order.
<yoruichi_sama> Your Favourite Quote?
<zenryoku> "Love is not limited by convenience; it is the inconvenient times that make you realize how much you are truly loved."
- Michael A. Mejia
<yoruichi_sama> Nice,so any last comments?
<yoruichi_sama> I have to go now : ((((
<zenryoku> Umm... nope
<zenryoku> I can't think of anything
<zenryoku> except that 8th Division Pwns you
<zenryoku> all
<yoruichi_sama>NO!9TH DIV!
<zenryoku> 9th Division may be a close second. But I'm soryr, I'm not in 9th so it's not the best.
<yoruichi_sama> Right..

Paper Cups

Chapter 1

“The subject of zombies is an odd one indeed. In movies zombie infestations are portrayed as the end of the world. What people don’t take into account is that apart from being resurrected dead, they have human bodies and are bound by their restrictions. If they don’t get the nutrients they need (flesh and blood) then they will die as quickly as we would without food or water. If they get desperate enough they should start eating each other. In either case they do not have the intelligence to sustain their existence. After about a month their ranks should be severely thinned. After a year they should be almost non existent. It’s similar to an ice age. It destroys a lot of life but does not last forever and what is left is the new world. So what comes next?”

The class stared at him weirdly. Planes was a 17 year old boy around medium height and build with the front of his hair spiked. Kind of like a wave. A straight wave.
“I believe the assignment was to research a natural disaster” stated his Geography teacher, Mr Dobbs, in a patient manner. “Even if such a thing were to happen, exactly how would it fall under the category of a natural disaster?” He asked, emphasising rhe word “natural.”
“Well…I suppose it would be a man made natural disaster” Replied Planes looking to the side. Mr Dobbs sighed and gestured for Planes to take his seat. He walked back and saw the girl who sat in the seat next to him on the right, Sally, smiling and shaking her head, as if to inform him that he had beaten his previous weirdness record. The next student stood up and delivered their assignment to the class. Planes wondered what his mark would be and quickly decided that he didn’t want to think about it. Instead his thoughts went to what he had next period, Biology. He wondered if his teacher would be there today. She had a habit of randomly not showing up, more so than any of his other teachers at least. During his daze he heard the bell ring…and ring…and ring…and it continued ringing.
“Lockdown” Said a student to his left. A lockdown was a procedure where the students sat under their desks until the bell stopped ringing. Planes sighed and got under. Screams could be heard outside.
“Wow…it looks like its for real this time” Said Sally. Planes looked around the room. Mr Dobbs was out of sight since his desk front was covered.
“Which means he can’t see us either” Said Planes to himself. He looked behind him. The window was open. Understandable as it was a fairly hot day. Lastly he looked at the classroom door. He looked through the glass part and saw an odd figure coming towards them.
“What are you planning?” Asked Sally.
“I’m going to jump out that window. Shouldn’t be too far to fall being on ground level and all.” He replied.
“Are you insane!?” She whispered. “What if there’s somebody dangerous out there?”
“It’s better than being trapped in here when that something arrives” Planes replied.
“Curiosity killed the cat Planes…” She pleaded with him.
“The early bird gets the worm” He said, now determined.
“Planes you don’t have wings.”
“I don’t have a tail either.” A few seconds of silence followed. Planes got up and ran towards the window.
“Baka” whispered Sally furiously as she followed him up and out the window. The calls of the students in the classroom were soon replaced by shattering glass and screams. Planes ran across the cement courtyard and onto one of the school’s ovals. Sally grabbed his shirt and pulled him back.
“Are you insane!? If theres somebody dangerous in the school then they will defiantly see us there” She exclaimed.
“In a wide open area we would see them coming though” Replied Planes. “Besides…the front gate is across the oval.” In that moment they caught sight of some students fleeing from the science labs. One of them saw Planes and came rushing over.
“Planes man…we gotta get out of here” Said Adam, a tall thin Eurasian guy in Planes’ year.
“Why? Whats going on!?” Asked Sally frantically.
“Some freaky shit-look the teachers told the students to escape through the back gate at Chapel drive” Said Adam panting.
“So we go out the front” Said Planes as he started his run across the oval.
“What kind of logic is that!?” exclaimed Sally.
“No crowds!” Planes shouted back. Adam soon ran after him. A frustrated Sally followed. As he ran Planes caught site of a human figure and a large fire outside the front gate. Every step made the figure appear to be more disturbing. He was bleeding, missing a finger or two and had a dislocated foot. When Planes and the others reached the gate, the figure gave a mighty moan in their general direction.
“The ****…” Said Planes now scanning to see where the fire was coming from. It was a car to the left of the gate. His geography teacher’s car.

Fabula Nova Crystallis : Final Fantasy XIII

http://www.ffinsider.net/final-fantasy-13/pix/ff13%20(4)_t.jpg

Following up on the latest series of trailers that were first aired at the Jump Festa event in Tokyo late last year, Famitsu has scored interviews with the key personnel behind the Fabula Nova Crystallis series to shed some light into how things are going with the next generation of Final Fantasy.

The magazine first confirms some of what we gathered from the main Final Fantasy XIII trailer, an updated version of the E3 trailer with a few new scenes and a prologue section. In the main FFXIII game, the world is split into two parts: Cocoon and Pulse. Cocoon is a space colony that houses a few million people. Pulse is everything outside of it.

For the people of Cocoon, Pulse is a frightening place. Those who come into contact with it are believed to be elements of a plot to invade Cocoon and are banished from the protections of the Cocoon realm by the "holy" government and its army. The original E3 trailer depicted a group of people who seemed to be confined on a train. These people had come into contact with Pulse and were being quarantined.

Cocoon is protected by crystals. This may not necessarily be the case for the rest of the games in the Fabula Nova Crystalis series, but the crystals in FFXIII are more than just shiny stones with magic abilities. They have the ability to create real life objects. They make life easy for people in Cocoon by creating machines and living creatures.

The relationship between Cocoon and Pulse can be thought of as this, according to director Motome Toriyama. First, there was Pulse, a dangerous world where people reside under the fear of monster attack. Cocoon was made when the crystals considered what would be an appropriate living space for people forced to reside in the world of Pulse.

As mentioned in our write-up on the Jump trailer, the female character who is assumed to be FFXIII's main character is known as Lightning, although that's not her real name. A battle expert with mastery of gun, sword, hand-to-hand, and magic based combat, Lightning knows little about herself. In fact, she's not even sure of her real name, and Toriyama says that we should look forward to finding out the reason for this as part of the storyline. Lighting was once a high ranking official in an organization of some form. Now, according to the prologue that kicks off the trailer, she's been selected as an enemy to all of man kind and will bring destruction to the world.

The trailer also served as the debut of a second character, a blonde-haired man who speeds in on a motorcycle to aid Lightning when she finds herself surrounded by government troops. While the magazine doesn't provide any details on this character- other than being big and strong enough to run around while carrying two people, and that his shoe size is 33cm, it does provide some surprises about his motorcycle.

Famitsu reveals that the bike is a transformed version of Shiva, the ice-based summon spell that makes a brief appearance in the Jump trailer. In FFXIII, Shiva takes the form of a sister pair, and both sisters are made up of bike parts, complete with a wheel behind the head. Toriyama wouldn't spill the details, but hinted that you might be able to ride the transformed Shiva in battle, in addition to using it as a means of transportation when outside of battle.

Genre: Adventure, Drama, Romance
Type: Anime/TV series
Number of episodes: 52
Official Website: ~shrugs~

What do you get when you take the Lord of the Rings, The Bold and the Beautiful and mix them together with animation?

Miaka Yuki is a junior-high student desperate to pass the entrance exam for the illustrious Jonan High School. Her best friend Yui Hongo is a straight-A genius applying for the same school. During a study session with Yui in the library, Miaka, in the manga, drops her pen; in the anime, she drools at the vending machine and drops her 100 yen coin. In both versions, as she chases it, she finds herself in the Restricted Section. As the girls go through the books, Miaka stumbles across “The Universe of the Four Gods” and both girls start to read. They’re then sucked into the book world.

After a series of events Miaka becomes the priestess of Suzaku. Her mission is to gather the Suzaku Seven and summon the god Suzaku. From there legend says that the priestess will gain the ability to use Suzaku’s power three times. Of course it’s not that simple. The kingdom of Seiryu is also out to summon their god (also named Seiryu). Through a series of interesting, yet unfortunate events, Yui becomes the priestess of Seiryu and Miaka’s enemy.

Now here is where it gets complicated. A complex love web develops over the 52 episodes. It all starts with two of the Suzaku Seven (Tamahome and Hotohori) liking Miaka, while at the same time another of the Seven (Nuriko), a man who looks, acts and dresses like a woman, liking Hotohori. Eventually Yui reveals that she is in love with Tamahome. From there things develop into something so complicated that it requires a diagram just to keep up with the story:

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e294/planeswalker06/loveweb.jpg

Watching this mystical soap opera unfold is painful, interesting, hillarious and sad all at the same time. Having said that the series contains one of the best endings I’ve ever seen. That is when all the romance issues are resolved, the final apocalyptic battle with Seiryu. The series also contains some great comedic moments throughout its run:

GFXer of This Issue: Ios

CBNL: why don't you tell us about yourself?
Well, my name is Tom and I love music, drumming, arts and photoshopping. At CB I'm the leader of the artists guild, a member of one vision and a CB member for about a year.

CBNL: How long you been doing siggy's?
erhm... I think a little more then a year now. I'm not so sure... at least more then a year.

CBNL: Your inspiration for it?
I don't have inspiration when I start. I don't have an idea or anything. It just comes when I'm making it. I do have inspiration for large pieces or digital paintings. I get get them from my dreams. It's rather funny, sometimes when I'm sleeping and it's about 10 o'clock in the morning then I just have a picture in my dream and when I wake up, it's the first thing I want to work on.

CBNL: Do you have a favorite style?
No, not really, as long as it looks good...

CBNL: Whats your favorite part of making a sig?
ehr... I think the point where you can already feel it's going to get somewhere. Somewhere you like.

CBNL: How many sigs would you say you've made?
*goes to check his pb account*
Somewhere around 250 :D

CBNL: Do you have any favorites from your work?
Yes, my latest sigs are my fav's. At the moment my gift for neve is by far my fav.
(which is this one: )

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e19/Telemaster28/Nevegift.png

CBNL: What kind of direction do you initially take when making a sig?
eh that's hard to say. I start choosing a stock and when I'm not in a too creative mood the stock can already make out if the sig is going to succeed or not. I think the stock determines how my sig is going to look like for big amount.

CBNL: Any advice you'd like to give on sig making?
ehm, just do what you feel is good. Whether that means adding depth or not, a sig is good when you like it IMO.

6th Division Report

The 6th Division members were surprised to hear that their elite member Decado have been kidnapped or should I say "Stolen" from the division by the new Espada group. Leaders of the said group together with the new Vaizard group claim that they will steal at least one division member from the gotei 13. They have also kidnapped division captains, administrators and powerful and influential members of Club Bleach making their group one of the strongest groups ever in CB history.

The other members reacted violently towards the idea of kidnapping or stealing members from the division which caused the others member to go on strike but the said protest did not last long enough.

Back to the 6th Division Headquarters, the said members have noted Decado as the division's ultimate traitor for he did not refuse the invitation from the Espado group leader Z_blits but despite that fact the members are still hoping that Decado would return to his original and true fraction rather than some fantasy division that have ruined the bonds among the other division.

Undying, the vice-captain of the said division have strong confidence that the rest of the members will not switch divisions. Other division members that were given an invitation to join the Espada/Vaizard groups were Neve, Yukiro and tanya but they immediately refused the invitation.

In conclusion of this short and nonsense report, I can say that we are waiting for Decado's return and will give him a good beating after coming back from the Espado group in a week, kidding. Anyway, I can say that this indeed was a test of loyalty as DragonBlade have said. It is a test whether the divisions from the Gotei 13 have strong unbreakable ties among its members and division leaders.

I also respect the decision of others who chose the Espada/Vaizard group over their division, I look at it in a perspective where these members would like to try new things for a change and that they want to be exposed more to the other side and make new friends. So Decado, when you return in a week, hopefully we would still welcome you with open arms... just remember that our pitchforks, rocket launchers, riffle gun, flamethrowers and Undying's super robot hands are waiting for you as you return.

Editorial

A new year has come. W've only been at it for a month and so much has gone by in just these short 4 weeks. I shall be contemplating on how these events have affected the 9th.

Yup yup.

~sigh~ this is like the depression for 9th
True that, Planesy. Last year, we had 18 members going strong. We we're a great division together but all things must come to an end sometime or rather. We have only 10 members now, most of which have only joined late last year.

There have been a constant reshuffling in our ranks. Recently, our taichou Sanzora left us because real life was just taking up too much time, as it should, but to the point where going on CB just isn't on the list. This oould be said with other older members who have left as well. There also had to be a cut back on inactive members. This was happening with other divs as well so we invented the Shinigami Academy to stop it. We've lost other members to real life, with the few joining other parts of CB. RukiaRod left to be a mod and Mikey got kidnapped by the Vaizard <__<.

With the shuffling, the inactive left and the remaining try to survive with what we have. I took on the role as taichou, and it's a very busy role to maintain but I've got my div backing me up. Planesy took on fukutaichou, Shika was given the role of Officer Commander and we gave Evanesque, Urdie and Ririn seated positions accordingly.

We got a scare when Sarah said she was going to leave. Yes, this is true but we convinced her to stay. I have appointed her Manager of the CBNL. She will be the one organising things for it. We're looking at creating a sub-forum just for the NL where members can post articles. We need the input people! We're jjust surviving with little members now. I especially like seeing other people's works/creations so send away! You've seen what random articles we've created so come and join in the fun ^_^.

It'll be especially interesting if the division member swapping goes through. It might be a bias concept but to get into the mind of another div would be interesting, especially now when it's virtually impossible to sneak into a div that isnt your own :lol

Rofl. Great work on the NL as always =p.

My name's got a "z" in the end you know and not a "s" =/. Kinda reminds me of a person I know on another forum who does the same thing =p.

"Stolen" is such a lovely word. Consensual stealing is a different matter though xP.

LMAO @ Yukiro

way to make me sound unloyal man. 5 straight months of hard work and undeniable pwnage with 6th and this is wat i get ;____;
no honourary farewell, nothing.

lolz, jkn yo
A couple of others left, and returned. Gimme a shot at the Espada would ya? XD

Wanna take dis chance to say i <<<333 everyone in 6th. You guys were my first friends back in September, and even though you were mods, with impossibly high rep in my eyes and join dates from early or previous years, none of you were arrogant or looked down on the newbie that was me.

The kindest souls ever, here's to the 6th!

*raises glass*

@Rest of Gotei: It's these guys u have to watch out for. seriously..they command most of CB..

miss ya guys already.. :(
Best of Luck 6th. I want you guys to be one of our main rivals.

A part of me is always a red blooded 6th (pun intended =P) - and one day this sycthe and slash psycho of yours (hidden meaning for 6th divisioners only *coughsubmititalreadycough* =P) will return to your glorious Halls once more

Another awesome newsletter issue - congrats to all the staff =D. I really enjoyed reading it.

It sounds to me like social anxiety disorder rather than an inferiority complex =P. Google it and see if your symptoms match up. There are quite a few books you can buy from Amazon on CBT for social anxiety disorder that are really helpful :).

Wow! Very interesting I must say, especially since this was the first Newsletter I read upon joining. And thanks to this Newsletter I've learned that there are 'kidnappers' lurking around somewhere.

Whoever came up with the cookie's section is purely intelligent. My oh my, don't I enjoy reading people's problems (no ill-intention directed. I was just born that way.). And the comic strip was truly hilarious. I was just thinking about poor Ichigo yesterday, being surrounded around people who took the phrase 'Being cruel to be nice' literally.

Can't wait for the next edition!:biggrinki
