i don't know gaeas. some series have movies as tangent episodes, like dbz and one piece. with bleach, though, it would seem that when ichigo saves lukia and the other plot finishes, the series would end and then renji and lukia would have to decide where to go, like urahara and yourichi. which would make the movie after and make sense of the above picture.

so, what should we talk about regarding renji? how 'bout when you first decided he was the coolest?
for me, it was after ichigo got into soul society. i didn't pay much attention to renji at the first meeting, 'cuz he was with byakuya (don't like him!) and was really cocky. when the anime got to soul society and i learned more about renji, i really started liking who he was, his character, as well as the fangirl part me noticed how droolworthy he was! (mm, mm, good!)

actually i have to say Ichigo's Bankai...It almost literally destroyed Byakuya! (REMEMBER DARK!! HMM!!! LOL!!) sooo.... if ichigo almost killed byakuya ...he can destroy renji....plus Ichigo's like 5000000 times faster with his Bankai....but renji still rulez

And as tiem progressed and we found more abotu Renji I took to liking him. And his Bankai isnt that weird.. considering Mayuri's. But I still like it, its one of my favorite Bankais in the series.

yeah, his bankai wasn't what i expected and i didn't go "that's the coolest one!", but it goes with renji's personality and the zanbakto's embodiment (the babboon with a snake tail).
renji is passionate and almost primal, so it'd make sense that his bankai would be prehistoric bones and tribal-looking.
still, i like the snake-like motion and and the sense of power it has

huh? why? they can't kill "anime" characters, it's anime!!! especially main supporting characters like Renji. Tite could of killed Renji during the Byakuya battle, but didn't, so he'll never kill Renji. He can't! it's like the #1 favourite character! & still so much to write about him, yah, his love story (R & R = Renji & Rukia, hopefully) & his bankai upgrades.

oh, i wish my exams are over, so I can start reading the manga, hoping that it'll have more Renji scenes.

constantine, well, someone loves renji. either tite or the animation studio, because in at least four ending songs (before the happy people one), renji appears for no apparent reason. in one a mini renji pops in and out of view, in another he's posing while the shinigami who idolizes him tries to pose like him, in another he's watching kira talk and then tackles him and in one he's leading kira and another vc to the hot springs! it's pretty funny!

LOL gomen gomen... actually I was referring to his likes and dislikes that I read somewhere in the millions of renji-related sites I plopped in (oops to much info there innit?). And someone somewhere said that he doesn't like spicy food *eyes everyone mysteriously*... darksaber's post made me think of that.

I wrote this ridiculously long post about how Renji's in love with Rukia in the Bleach Anime section in the post entiled "What's the deal with Kuchiki Rukia and Abarai Renji" or sometihng along those lines. oh, and, as i was reading the stats, i came across the divisions he was in (i don't have the manga, so this info is new to me). it said he started in division 5, then moved to division 11 and 1 month before rukia's arrest was promoted to vice captain of division 6. this means he is pretty studly. he acheived bankai within 2 months of becoming a vc!!! yay, renji!!!
