My own angel of silence
Always sitting behind me
Waiting for someone to whisper
And then without words she will bind me

Take me away from my present course
Rip me from my final goal
And all that I do is spin in circles
I never miss that deep, deep hole

It lurks it lingers in front of me
Drawing me in with fateful sighs
A putrid smell, a heavenely hell
The world is moved with lies

And I run down my angels pathway
The tears, they cover the ground
Break free, break free, it calls to me
And on a new door I pound

Let me in or the hounds will get me
Let me in or you all will die
Let me in and ill fill your purses
You wont let me in, I see, goodbye

I turn away the voice is gone
But what is this light on my back
Glaring with heat, and warmth, and love
I turn around, with sobs Im racked

The door is open, the crowd is waiting
What could I want more
As I begin to make the trek
I feel they're eyes, they bore

And once again my angel of silence
On my shoulder she sits
But another one has come along
The devil of my wits

Go back to the path I have set
The angel she does say
No follow me in my wisdom
the devil caws to the day

They argue and tussle and as they fight
I beleive I have seen what is right
I walk inside I close the door
They'll be stuck out there, Forevermore

pretty interesting katen ;3
hmm @ your devil appearing during the last moments

sounds like she saved you from your angel of silence
making you see clear what path you should really take (yours)

=/ though i might have interpreted it wrong
nice work nevertheless

I loved how the poem changed course towards the end, I really loved the flow. There were a few spelling mistakes but hell, we all do that lol. I've always loved your poems so can't wait for the next one :)
