Cicada wasted no time, of course, and charged at Taiki while he was in the midst of his technique. Bringing his sword down towards the smkirking Renegade.

Taiki figured that Cicada would charge at him and had already prepared himself for the attack. He quickly darted to the side and attempted to bring his fist into Cicadas cheek.

After landing the blow on Cicadas cheek with an impressive amount of force, Taiki leapt to his opponents other side and charged back at him bringing his other fist into the other cheek.

Cicade reacted quicker to Taikis second attack and managed to dodge, if just barely, the entire thing. The first blow on the other hand had left a bruise on the guys cheek that was clearly visible to all. Cicada was outraged at the pain and charged at Taiki with all his power.

Taiki began to realize that he didn't stand a chance of landing a normal blow on Cicada and would only be able to turn his own attacks back at him. With that he decided to increase his power with a technique he had recently learned.

Taiki wasted no time in his attempt to counter Cicadas blow. He was actually enjoying this fight. It had been a while since he had had a challenge and Cicada, while not as powerful as he would have hoped, proved to be enough of a challenge to keep Taiki from being too bored.

Taiki failed in his attempt to block Cicadas attack and instead of turning the attack back on him, allowed the attack to land head on.

After that blow he knew he had to finish this quickly and stepped his game up a notch.

Taiki was utterly confused as to how he could have lost the battle. He thought for sure he had the battle in the palm of his hands.

Perhaps I thought him to be a much easier opponent than he really was. I'll be back however in order to beat him.

A Reiniku user rolls an attack roll when he is attacked with a physical attack or technique. If the total of his roll is higher than 70, he takes no damage.

not to mention acid blood, which counts when you attack AND when you BnC.

Forgot acid blood, yes. But parry was pointless. Cicada has 5 evasion to use unless I hit more than 5 times which never happened in which case he Would have used parry.
