Sweet Sacrifice

Those tears painted red
Dripping from the walls
Covering the heavenly white
As it paints a demonic hell

The blood soaked dress
With her drenched black hair
Covering that beautiful face
With the look of the fallen

How young and innocent
That empty shell was
So full of life only to perish
At the hands of evil

As we watch in silence,
Holding out tongues and screams
Your only love discovered
Only to lose it all for a dream

The only light in this world
Glowed so bright lasting so short
Whose life was given away
To be your sweet sacrifice

Seems biblical towards the end with the talk of sacrifice and such, However at the start i instantly thought of "the Ring"...

Nice poem Ilady and a nice idea throughout it, it kept me guessing as to whats it's true meaning was and made me go over it again to try and figure out what you were thinking. Thats a nice thing to be able to do with a poem.

Really? Thanks Ai. I was thinking a lot of things really but I write quite emo poems when Im feeling like the sort at the time, which was monday -__- but its good to see that it has some sort of impact on others :)
