Okay, my issue:

I own a Nokia 6230 (no not the 6230i). I have my ringtone on a MP3. In silent mode, whoever rings me, my phone plays the MP3 song (still sound) and vibrates. I checked if evey sound is muted, silent mode, no sounds and all so that my phone shouldn't make any sounds.

I then switched my ringtone on a MIDI. Still in silent mode, whoever rings me, my phone just vibrates with no sound watsoever.

So why does MP3 songs as my ringtone seem to play out loud when someone rings me when i'm in silent mode with everything muted? And how do i overcome this?

k thx.
