I start of with a MMORPG thats going offical today, Scions of Fate (http://fate.netgame.com/index.php). Looks pretty but have not tried it out yet (still downloading).

currently waiting for Warhammer Online which seems to be
quite interesting.

played Dark Age of Camelot and World of Warcraft for a while
but didn't really like it that much. (DAoC had good features tho)

Lineage 2 (I LOVE their grapics and class transfer)
Ragnarok (YES guild wars and chibi chars FTW~!)
Audition (Dancing+cool clothes= hawtness)
Digimon Online (first MMO i played in korean)
Maplestory (lousy, in my P.Ban list of MMO)
FlyFF (nth special, got bored)
ROSE (same as above)
Hero (cool weapons but did not grab my interest >_>)
Silkroad (i love the Job system and Skill system, but extremly laggy)
Trickster (yaya Digging~! inventive but got bored :p)

oh well i rather look at D2 and NWN2 as singleplayer/multiplayer RPG
not really massive multiplayer, those are on my list aswell.

oh i play/played GuildWars aswell. but not for long xD

i heard Guildwars was really ncie, but i dun have the cash for it ;_;

i hate friends that makes use of yur trust and hack into yur accounts, its like the friendship is worth less than the game account >_>;

NWN 2 is kinda just mulitplayer but not MMORPG, but its one REALLY ncie game. I am starting NWN 2 again cuz the patch and bugs have been fixed and i can go back to using my druid ~! <3

oh well if i start again with NWN2 i'd start from scratch, as a bad guy
or continue my lowbie archer. i think i made a mistake going shadowdancer
on my monk.

GuildWars is rather boring to be honest. i wouldn't really recommend it
somehow.

hmm.....its from the same company as Lineage 2, called NCsoft, so i kinda din expect anything less from it ^^;

somehow Guildwars is one of the most played list in xfire.....so i guess to a certain extent its quite nice.

Monk shld go all the way Monk in NWN, that class not suitable for branching =/

yeah an mmorpg thread has moved onto NWN2 thread. awesome loved NWN2 it was such a great game and i really liked the influence andstory aspects. Played the game through first as a druid but gave up as i couldn't sort out my alignment so couldn't levelup.
then played through as a monk which was pretty amazing but when you get the silver sword it sucks as monks are much better unarmed.
third time round i'm gonna be a paladin and then after that i'll try out bieng evil. mwahahaha:D

The only one I played with any real dedication is Ragnarok Online. Me and my friends used to play that game everyday back in High School. It was so addicting. We had our own guild and we made a lot of friends.

It was just a great experience because we were playing on a great server with a lot of people. The community and how I can interact with others is everything to me in an MMO. Yes I loved building my character to perfection, but doing so with others was so much more fun.

I remember i played up to 3 in the morning everyday when I had class at 6 xD
It was just that much fun playing even with people I just met over the net. I think I got together with them everyday...ah memories xD

My brother still plays RO on the weekends though hahaha. He won't give it up!

its better to start later

when it was released, the lvl one mobs wouldnt spawn fast enough and there are LOTS of KSing >_>; the archers rule this time, they are long ranged and powerful

I made a siggy using my char inside. after my break i am going in and take a couple more scenes.

Yay~ Finnaly good archers! The Archers in SRO are bad but from what you said, Archers pwn~ ^^ Archery FTW.

in almost every game i played archers were redicilously overpowered.
lineage 2 is a perfect example, the balance in that game is just too bad.
even as lvl 78 i get like 3 shotted by archers that are lower than i am.
(ok i play a support char, but still.... why do they even add heavy armors)

tsk tsk.... i hope there will be a game once that is just a bit balanced.

yea i agree with deto, archer in lineage 2 is seriously pwnage X_X wait....Hunters in ragnarok are pwns too >_>;

this is so not fair, why does archers get all the attention? ;_; (hmm Quincys are archers too....XD)

@icchy: Tips? go the to webby and look under Guide, Map. There got info on where monsters could be found. I spend 30mins looking for a monster and than realised that theres the info on the webby >_>;

SoF grind isnt that obvious if u party level.

Actually its not the perfect game, i got sucked in cuz of the cutesy chars =3

If u wanan know their community, the best place to go would be thier forums. But warning though, its a MESSY place with lots of flame cuz theres no mods in there, only GM who are too busy developing the game and clearing out bots.

Horrayness. I Finnally downloaded SoF. And i used a dl manager this time. it like dled in just 1.5hrs.

Btw. i played Runescape and it was okay. however i got stuck in one of the houses and died there leaving behind all my stuff which i really detest. Okay fine i hate Runescape too. :)

No I wasn't trying to hack. Ok I put my user id and pass in and all of the sudden I see some one elses hunter but I remember I had a mage so I just went on it to see what he had. I ended up using he's arrows and dropped a few items but it was all good.

Haha, RuneScape is terrible for sure. But I can't think of any better free, browser-based games.

Anyways, I played WoW for a few months (1 of those months was free), and then quit because I had terrible lag.

Oooh yay! A fellow Lineage II player... I thought I was all alone. ^^
That's the MMORPG I play. Infact it's the only one I've ever played, only because it's slightly related to Lord of the Rings.. in that it got elves and orcs etc. And because it's pretty and well thought of. I'll never forget my first month or so of playing, it was so much fun!

I play wow quite alot. got a level 70, beginning to start collecting all the cool items and what not. its really fun, mainly because i am a high ranking officer in an amazing friendly guild. if you cab to hunt or quest, you can just sit about chatting and doing fun stuff.

I used to play Final Fantasy 11, got to level 75 with my Samurai (http://www.level7.nu/cache/cimg/LVL/2006/06/30/00/4698ec45270c5cdc8dfc82d03664271c.jpg) after getting Rank 10 and killing big bad monsters that takes hours to kill I had enough and quit. It was fun while it lasted though. I have also played some Lineage 2, wow and about an hour of Matrix Online, but didn't like them as much as FFXI.

Btw i saw my brother playing Rappelz today. It looks quite similar to Lineage II and it's free. U guys should try this one if u like Lineage II.

i have to say Guild Wars (no online fees for the win) i play all the time and never get bored
i also loved Cabal the look of the characters is awesome but stopped playing as it was monthly pay and i had lack of funds lol

Ragnarok 2 is still beta in korean, so its gonna be awhile be4 it comes out in English. And i kinda expect it to be p2p, like its prequel.

yea they said WoW have graphic comparable or even better than Lineage 2, so i guess its awesome.

Lineage2 is based on the Unreal Warfare Engine, only the new Unreal Engine can
beat the old one and maybe the Cry Engine. World of Warcraft looks like DisneyLand
to me, but graphics in a MMOG doesn't really matter. WoW is a pretty solid game if
you look at content an gameplay. not my style but it is ok (tho it has been hyped too
much) i hope blizzard makes a sequel to Diablo2, they even said that every blizzard
game made, will be converted into a MMOG (means Diablo and Starcraft as MMOG'S)
i think that is pretty sweet since i love Diablo2 - one of the best games ever made *g*

i'm looking forward to either lord of the rings the shadows of angmar or warhammer
online, both seem pretty promising.
