Kisuke's lieutenant

This may have been done, but i searched and couldn't find it, now onto the thread. Sorry for a long read. Kisuke was ex-12th captain and so had a lieutenant, i think it is either

1. Isshin Kurosaki - He seems to know Urahara as they had a brief talk and we know he's ex-shinigami, so it's possible, but i think he may be ex-10th captain, but still possible

or

2.Shinji Hirako - He is a vizard and so could have been a test subject or something, now i'm not sure but it could also be possible and they would make an awesome captain/lieutenant team!

or

3.Tessai Tsukabishi - I think the most likely as he is his personal assistant/bodygurad in the real word, he can do kidou meaning he could be ex-shinigami and he is quite cool, i can imagine it.

Now, for your opinions, sorry about the long read!

Not likely ishin kurosaki because he is an ex-captain.

Not Shinji Hirako-He realy doesn't look that old. And if he was experimented on, he wouldn't of come out with the line 'I don't like to interfere with shinigami fight's...' (When he saved rukia and ichigo from grimjaw)

Not Tessai-Doesn't seem possible on any real level. If it was him, there would've been mention of a third arrest warrent for tessai.

Most likely-it'd be mayuri kurotsuchi(12th DIV current captain). That'd be my guess.

Isshin's an ex-captain. They probably knew eachother captain to captain in SS.

Well, they do know eachother to an extent to my knowledge, but this is also unlikely. I doubt Urahara has a "test subject" as a VC like Mayuri does now. I dunno



We know Ichigo is more than likely a vaizard himself, and he seemed to got to be that way on his own...

My speculation is that Tessai is a mod soul, and therefore since mod souls were frowned upon, it seems unlikely to me that Yama would allow a mod soul VC.

I can't say who I think the lieutenant was, but Mayuri does seem like a possible choice, or someone who is unimportant to the storyline.

i would say tessai cos hes like always following urahara everywhere and when ever urahara askes tessai for summin he always does it, like a follower or a soldier or a lieutenant lol.

so i reacon its more likely to be tessai other than the other 2 cos shinji is arcane so hes out of the question while isshin was an "ex-captain" like Snowmanzero said so i reacon its tessai the most (sorry donno how to quote properly)

Well, since Shinji is a Vaizard and Isshin was an ex-captain I think they are out of the question.

There is nothing to go on but speculation for who could have been Uraharas lieutanant, which could be just about anyone at this point, except for the ones that we know what role they played in SS. There isn't even anything to speculate on except for Urahara was an captain? so he had a lieutenant? who could it be? kind of thing. Not "hey this guy could of been uraharas lieutenant."

That is a good point, I never actually considered Mayuri Kurotsuchi as a lieutenant, it is a very good theory, however i still doubt it as i'm not sure that kisuke would promote Mayuri as his lieutenant.

why not - he might not have been the same before. he might have just been a normal shinigami. And when he was promoted to captain - he started experimenting on his body, leading to his weirdness..

See your ranked on the level of your spiritual power. You don't have to work hard in order to get a good promotion-You just have to be strong.

To become captain, you must have either a ban kai OR kill the current captain OR take there spot if there's a vacancy(You probably still need at least a ban kai). Look at soifon-She became captain after yoruichi left-with urahara. Renji is looking for people who have achieved ban kai to fill the hole's created by aizen's group and asked ikkaku madrame to become a captain because he had obtained a bankai.

Even if it was the technology beareu, you wouldn't get promoted because of smart idea's. Only strength.

yeah you got the point... it isn't only for smart ideas but for the whole ability of a shinigami to become a captain or a vice captain.... but i think.... or maybe... mayuri is uruhara's vc... it is greatly possible... because mayuri is just like uruhara.... they are so weird... mayuri is fond of experimenting just like uruhara... look at the mod souls that uruhara created....

Thinking about Kurotsuchi's full title "12th Division Captain and the 2nd Chief of the Beareu of Technology" it does seem logical that he was Urahara's VC. As for Isshin though its possible that he was actually Aizen's Captain when he was VC.

it's probably more logical if he were the tenth div. captain and when he left the spot went to toshiro hitsuguya because Isshin's has been in the living world for 20 year's atleast and out of all the captain's at the start of the soul society arc, hitsuguya seems the newest.

aizen's capt. could very well still have been isshin kurosaki for a while but then again so could alot of people-including one's we don't know yet.

ok you have a point there but the i would have to say the current captain of the 12th squad was Kisuke's VC it seems very logical after all remember that Kisuke's founded the the technology bearau and since Kurotsuchi was the 2nd chief all eveidence to me points to him as VC and i will make a good point to all during the SS arc after the Quincy defeated him and he turn to the liquid his normal body form was shown HA! so maybe he was a normal shinigami and was Kisuke's VC
