ソウルソサエティに残っていたルキアが、恋次(れんじ)や乱菊たちとともに、一護(いちご)の前に現われた。驚く一護をルキアはいきなりけり飛ばし、虚 (ホロウ)が暴れている場所まで強引に連れていく。そして一護に虚を倒させようとするが、一護は“もうひとりの自分”である内なる虚の力に飲み込まれてしまうのを恐れ、戦うことをためらう。

空座町(からくらちょう)に現われた破面(アランカル)、ウルキオラとヤミーは、虚たちのすむ世界、ウェコムンドへと戻った。ウルキオラたちは藍染と20 名の破面に、一護たちとの戦闘について報告する。一方、乱菊たちは現世での宿泊先を探して、空座町の各地に散る。

一角は破面のひとり、エドラドと対決する。戦いを傍観している弓親(ゆみちか)に対し、偶然現場に居合わせた一護の友人・啓吾は、一角に加勢すべきではないかと尋ねる。しかし、弓親は一角が戦いを楽しんでおり、加勢してはならないのだと答える。そのころ、一護とルキアの前には、グリムジョーが現われていた。グリムジョーの強大な霊圧に、ルキアは戦慄(せんりつ)する。

Doesn't matter, I kinda know what to expect since I read the manga lol Hopefully the animation will be good in the upcoming episodes and will be cool to see Grimmjow, I am kinda expecting the upcoming battles to be dragged a little bit and probably some changes that might involve the Modsouls like the previous episodes since they don't want to get ahead of the manga
