Starting a user group

Ok, Ive seen on this forum there are several usergroups, the 13 divisions, allainces, etc. etc. I am pretty sure that I alone can not start one, at least on this forum. Mainly becuase they are so huge and secondly because I dont know how. I post on another forum with the same VBullitin formating and would like to know how to create one on that forum, its small so I think I can do it. How does one start a usergroup?

Click on Usergroups manager in the admincp. Need more info for more details...

I don't think everyone can create usergroups unless you're an administrator. Just as Jove said, go to adminCP but usually users only have usercp not the admin one..

->Admincp
-->Usergroups
---->Add New Usergroup

Then set all your permissions and settings for the usergroup, and whether to make it publically avaliable to join etc or if someone leads it etc.

Remember to modify it's forum permissions here

-->Forums & Moderators
---->Forum Permissions

Otherwise the usergroup will be able to see into every section even the ones you didn't want it to see.
