Thanks spike. I viewed part 1 and 2 in japanese. Although i couldnt understand what they were saying (some "Doko ni" and "Nanda Kore" i understood though :P) i have read the manga so i knew what they were talking about.

Well, just watched it and it was great, and more importantly it was non-filler! Shippuden gives Naruto a much more mature (and welcome) feeling than I expected in my opinion. Just listening to the opening, ending and especially the inserts were a definate sign of maturity. Its just like when Dragonball turned into DBZ (which is the only similarity Naruto and DBZ share).

great job on the production. skipping here and there all over the place but i have to say i enjoyed this episode. the first eight minutes was full of spoilers but it was movie-like in animation. can't wait for the first fight to be shown.

yeah i can't fault that episode in anyway. bleach could really learn sometings about how to stretch out there episodes in a much better way.
quality of the episode was superb right from the animation to the oriental music.
naruto's back on on top.

I was amazing...the first few minutes were brilliantly done.....and although they were spoilers showed that naruto still is one of the best.......The animation is amazing and the soundtrack was great too.....And yeah they managed to stretch the story without a quality loss....great...just great.....banzai.....banzai....banzai...

Although they are finally back in the storyline, I was really excited about it even though some parts were quite annoying. The beginning was really good. The quality of the animation was great and the music got me even more excited in some parts. Me and my friends stayed up until 3AM in the morning to watch Naruto. How ridiculous is that? xD

so far it seems they have improved a number of things yet continue to use outdated twists for suspense. lets see how it unfolds for the next few episodes before making any judgments

Naruto and Sakura look better in teenage form that bodes well for the series overall look.

chapter 306 and 307 show the sasuke part although now the anime has started it's better to wait.
i imagine they will show the kakashi gaiden later on to break up the arcs if the anime starts catching up again.

An overall good ep IMO. It feels refreshing watching Naruto again, and to have the feeling of impatience and suspense for the next episode ( Despite me having read the manga ). The Akatsuki music is just great and fit really well and I can't wait until the battles begin.

4th real name is not known but he is refered to as Yondaime Hokage

we know nothing. the sasuke bit in the opening of the episode is the first and only reference to him in both the anime and manga. however it is possible that he is related to the secret that itachi and sasuke found out about the uchiha clan and that is why sasuke has heard of him

Ah, I've been missing Naruto. I didn't bother wasting my time on the fillers (of doom!!!11one!1), they just... sucked. I really liked the first episode(s) of Shippuuden, and that they all have grown up a bit. A 12 year old protagonist...? No thanks. 15? Meh, it works.

Anyways, there has to be 3 MS user to release the demon Tengu. We know that Itachi and Sasuke are both MS users (even though Sasuke does not show that he has MS, he can still use the MS abilities such as mind reading and teleportation). Therefore, there is big question on who the 3rd MS user is.

Some people thinks it's Madara, but the 4th defeated him so I think it has to be another.

Even though they're considered S rank there's still a huge difference in power between the S rank ninjas. The 3 that were killed I don't think were the strongest Akatsuki because remember what Orchi said??? He actually fears Itachi which is like, WHOA WTF.

Itachi is probably on a whole other league than Kisuke, Hidan, or even Saosari. He has Orchi, who defeated the 3th Hokage, fearing him.

I'm pretty sure there has to be 1 or 2 people in the Akatsuki that's stronger than Itachi, otherwise, Itachi would be calling the shots instead of running around catching Bijuus.

Kakashi is considered an S ranked Ninja, but he got his ass handed to him by the Akatsuki also.

Naruto is definitely back on track. Shipuuden started off really good with the immediate appearance of the Akatsuki and the preview of Sasuke and Naruto's confrontation. This would be good from what I've seen in the manga.

I watched the eps yesterday. It was really nice and heart warming to see Naruto come back all grown up!

Sakura barely changed...I can't wait to see the others - Neji, Hinata, Tenten, Chouji, etc.

The bells thing with Kakashi was also sweet...brought back a lot of memories when they were younger.

The confrontation between Sasuke and Naruto in the beginning was exciting to watch...come on...we see sasuke after like ages...who wouldn't be interested to see how much he changed since the last time we saw him.

If you have time read it. It's really long, but it's really good. The theory ties everything that happens in Naruto together. It's really strange, even if it's fake I enjoyed reading it. It's very well composed and there's so much evidence backing up this theory.
