Was an interesting enough chapter...Confermation that we have 2 Akatsuki's less as well as a return of Sasuke, I wouldn't really call it a plot filler.
I hope that the glimp of Sasuke also really means something more...other then ´He you guys look, dun worry I'm still alive. See you again sometime in a chapter or 30 or so´

Its definitely not hogwash. Kakashi got jacked up by that akatsuki member and Naruto owned him after two hits. I just don't wanna see another Naruto jutsu against Sasuke jutsu that fills up 3/4 of a chapter next time they fight.

How dare you make light of Kakashi's "passing the torch" to Naruto. :P

Naruto has become more powerful than Kakashi, and I'll show you my point of view, without comparing the last battle since there were so many different factors.

Naruto and Kakashi

Taijutsu: I'd give the edge to Kakashi, Naruto hasn't shown us anything yet that would make us believe he is prominent in Taijutsu at all.

Ninjutsu: The edge in this one goes by far to Naruto. You may argue that Kakashi knows many more jutsu than Naruto may ever learn, but its not the quantity of jutsu that matters. The complexity of the Wind Rasengan Shuriken is state-of-the-art. It is the very top level of Chakra control, and elemental manipulation. It would take Kakashi years to accomplish what Naruto did in mere Days.

Stamina: Naruto by a mile!! Kakashi may be powerful but he would never last in a battle against Naruto 1v1. Even if he were to overwhelm Naruto quickly with his Jutsu he could not sustain his powerful techniques for very long, where as Naruto has near limitless Chakra. Kakashi can hardly fight with the Sharingan exposed and active through a few Jutsu.

Also I don't think Kakashi meant that Naruto could defeat him in battle. He was talking about the level of Naruto's jutsu surpassing the level of his own. Kakashi can do amazing things, he easily mastered the Rasengan, he can manipulate many chakra elements, and he has damn near mastered the Sharingan, reaching Mangekyou status without even having the blood of an Uchiha running through his veins. And even still, Naruto, through sheer will and perserverence, was able to master a jutsu not even the Yondaime Hokage could manage.
