Just aired on YTV. I watched with my little sister. Anyways...
No complaints about Kaukku(sp?) Shiba's voice. Ok, Aizen's voice totally suits him. And all together I am syched to hear more captains next week.
If anyone sees the dub links please post ^^
The dub voices are very good. I liked Kukaku's voice, she was really furious! Aizen's voice was very good, too.

You are very good as Aizen, good acting as well, only thing I will say is that to be perfect it could be a little deeper, I don't know if you've been told to sound like that or not, but if you're not allowed to go deeper in your Aizen voice
spoiler]then maybe you could suggest that you should sound deeper when Aizen comes back as evil in episode 60 and the rest of the series from there.[/spoiler]
Right now you're still very good as Aizen.

Why did they have to give that bastard Aizen such a great voice? Kukaku also has a great voice. I just hope they do not ruin Momo's voice during the name episode. By the way, did anyone else notice the weird pronunciation of Zaraki's name?

Kuukaku's voice pleasantly surprised me. I wasn't expecting it to be so good, though she needs to work on her screaming, because it was disjointed and weak. Her angry yelling, however, was prefect. Totally enjoyed it.
On Aizen though, I'm sorry Kyle, but it didn't work for me as I was hoping it would. I just didn't get the "warm and fuzzy" feeling that early Aizen is supposed to be giving off. At this point in the series, he's being very fatherly and kind, and that didn't come through at all. I don't know if that's what you were going for or not, but Aizen is normally chirpy and cheerful.
I'm talking about when he's not being dead serious, though. I enjoyed your Aizen when he closed the curtain and started talking seriously to Renji, but not so much before when he was being genial with him. I hope that changes during his scenes with Hinamori, though. Early Aizen is supposed to be loveable and comforting in those scenes.
Overall, this was a pretty good episode. Really liked Rukia's depressed voice, and I'm getting more used to Wally as Renji, but he really fumbles the Japanese; like when he says "aBArai" and the "souKEEEyoku."
Looking forward to next episode when we get a whole new slew of voices.

liking the voice of Aizen in the minute and a half I heard. I'm a bit skeptical about how it's going to turn out, like Kagebu, but I was the same when I heard that johnny jong bosh was VA for ichigo. it should be good.
And yes,I'm like the 1000's of other people who also can't wait for all the new voice's next week.

Thanks for your constructive criticism. Sorry the acting didn't work for you. In my defense, the thing that some people don't understand is that the actors are directed in their performances. The take used in the final product isn't the actor's choice. There are times in the booth where I felt totally solid about a take, but they end up using another one. I'm sure this happens to all actors on many shows. The voice is what I originally gave in the audition, and was cast based on those merits. I can only hope you feel I do Aizen's character justice in future episodes. Thanks again for your honesty!

I just recorded a scene in the early 30s where I went deeper......as the scene called for something more intimate. Thanks for the support!

I like Kukaku's English VA. I hope that Yoruichi's English VA is good too.
I like Aizen's voice better than Ganju's... :lol

The dub just gets better and better in my opinion. Kuukaku sounds just as badass as she's supposed to sound.
Also, good job with Aizen, Kyle. I was fairly impressed with your portrayal of him, though I do agree that the japanese version portrayed him as playful in the beginning of his meeting with Renji. But it still works. Good Job.
Also, just to comment on a few things, I think Wally Wingert's pronunciation of Soukyoku is just fine. If I ever had a doubt about Renji's VA, I think this episode put that to rest.

I think the Bleach dub is excellent, but for some reason. I watch the subs, even though I first watch Bleach in Dub.
Maybe I just wanna get ahead of the series.... Got to check out Aizen's voice to see if its any good.
I am hoping if Mayuri's voice is like Hojo from Dirge of Ceberus : FF7 since they are both alike in personality.

Pretty good voice acting overall.
Curious what the rest of the soul society cast is going to sound like.
Kuukaku's voice was awesome! Aizen's voice was also cool. Renji's voice is getting better, but still not quite good. He kinda killed it when he said "Soukeeyoku".

I actually quite like Aizen's voice. It is very calm and casual as it should be. I have to say something though to everyone who hates the English voices because they don't match the Japanese ones. I have been studying Japanese for awhile now and it is extremely different from English in the speech mannerisms, tone, flow of words, etc., so it is very unfair to try to "compare" voices between these two languages. Can you really tell a bad Japanese voice actor from a good one? Japanese has many more subtleties and emotionally-connective words and tones than English, so it is different in that regard as well. So get it out of your head that the voices don't fit the character perfectly or whatnot. I would like to see some of you come up with the so-called perfect voices.
With that said, I much prefer the Japanese subs to the English dubs because of my love of the Japanese language and its many subtleties. There are good English voice actors (like those of Edward and Alphonse Elric in FMA and Inuyasha), but the truth is they may never match your expectations from the Japanese versions.
Oh, and to Kyle, you're doing a great job as Aizen from what I have heard already and I am looking forward to continue hearing your depiction of him. And thanks a lot for taking time out of your busy schedule to chat with us, it is greatly appreciated.

It was a nice Episode, and I was wondering about 2 things during the ep.
How do you kill someone with a Sokoyokou? Do you hang them?
Is it just me, or does Kukakku have a prosthetic arm?
I've never seen the subs, so I have no opinion on the voices.

Yeah, Kukakku has a prosthetic arm. In the manga, however, she's doesn't even have a prosthetic.
As for the Soukyokuu, you're just gonna have to wait and see.
