SHINABU Volume 1

Chapter 1: The beginning
Bam! He fell down after taking a hard hit. Who are you he asked, my name is
Garon. Please let me go the man said, fine leave now and don’t ever come
back to these grounds again to pick on little kids. Are you ok Garon asked the
little boy he had saved. The boy replied, I am fine thanks to you sir. Thank you
very much. No problem just don’t let anyone like that push you around ok,
said Garon . Now I have to get to class kid see you around some time. Garon
then ran back to his locker. Hey Garon your late to class, said John one of
Garon’s friends. Yea I know ill be fine though, Mrs. Jones just yells at you she
doesn’t count you late or anything. Ok well see you later Garon. Garon then
went to his Math class taught by Mrs. Jones. And was welcomed by, Garon
why are you so late! I was helping some kid from being beat up for his money
by some 12th grade chump. Don’t lie to me boy! Now sit down. Ding Ding
Ding! And school was out. John caught up with Garon and asked what he was
going to do that day. Garon replied I don’t know I feel really weird like
something bad is going to happen. I am just going to go home. Well see you
tomorrow. Ok see you later Garon. On his way walking home which he did
everyday he saw two little children throwing the football with each other. This
reminded him of when he was there age playing football with all his friends.
Then one of the boys overthrew it, and it went into the street. And one of the
boys went out to get it, but didn’t notice that a car was coming. It was some l
ady on a cell phone not paying attention. Garon noticed this and ran and
jumped in front of the little boy to save him. Garon pushed the boy out of the
way and saved him, but he was hit by the car. All of a sudden he looked and
saw his body laying on the ground. And he said to him self… am I a ghost did I
just die? Yes you did he heard a reply from. My name is Jokana and I am here
to take you to King yemsho. King Yemsho who the heck is that? Why he is
Commander of spirit army, replied Jokana. And he asked me to bring you to
him, he said its very important. Well its not like I have anything better to do I
am dead. Ok come here then I will take you to him. The young looking woman
touched him and then he felt a slight buzz through out his body. Immediately
he was in front of a palace. What is this place, Garon asked Jokana. Jokana
replied, this is King Yemsho’s castle. I am going to take you to him now. So
they went up to the castle doors and Jokana said into a speaker in a very soft
voice This is Jokana reporting with Garon. An answer replied, the password please, Jokana replied, oomshana. Acces granted the speaker said. Then the pure gold doors opened wide and they walked through a almost pitch black
dark hallway lit by small candles. When reaching the end of the hallway Jokana opened another door into a very bright room with tons weird looking people filing paper work. It looked like a lawyer’s office of some sort. Then a voice yelled Garon I would like to see you. It was King Yemsho. Garon went
over to him and they talked. Yemsho said, because of what you have done for little children and other people using your power we have a job to offer you. Garon replied, what kind of job? We have noticed that you have a very large
amount of something called soul energy. And because of this and your actions we have decided to ask you to take a position of protecting humans and souls from demons. It is a very dangerous job, but you get to have special powers and cool things like that. And most of all you get your body back. We are
saying you accept this job offer and you live you don’t accept it you go to heaven and have a nice after life. Ok I will do it said Garon. Ok well we will have someone meet you in 3 days to put you through your training. Until then go say hi to all your friends and have everyone be glad your alive. Oh yea and also tell your friend John about this we want him to become your partner.
Alright so what do I do to get my body back? Leave that to Jokana. I will talk to you once more in three days. Boom! He was back at the accident scene and he stood up. There were police and ambulances firemen everything around the scene. He looked around and saw his mom and John. He didn’t feel like
talking or anything so he just went over to his mom as she was crying and said, hey mom watsup. She replied, son your alive! Yea mom I am right here. Then John came and asked Garon how he felt and then they went home. John asked Garon how he didn’t die. And then Garon told John the Whole Story.
Chapter 2: 3 days in waiting
I cant believe it are you serious! Replied John. Yes I am very serious replied Garon. Yemsho wants us to be the new soul Guardians or something like that. Wow that’s awesome we get to have special powers and stuff, said John. John its serious we will have a duty to protect people’s souls and other humans from demons, and monsters, and just from plain harm! Ok, I
understand Garon. So we have three days to train what we can hear and try to get stronger. And then we go to real training with the angels or whatever these people are. So lets get an early start right now. So they trained in fist fighting for three days straight while only stopping to eat three times a day
and drink 6 times a day. On the last night they ate a huge early dinner and went to bed really early to get sleep. And the next morning about 6:00 AM they were woken up by Jokana. They wrote a note to there parents saying what had happened and saying they had to go for a while. So they transported to some weird dessert. That’s when Jokana told and taught them the basics of harnessing there soul energy. This took them several minutes
surprisingly what should have taken hours. Then she said, reach into your mind Garon. In it you will find you power. So Garon went into his mind and his thoughts and tried to summon his spirit power. All of a sudden it turned into a room and he was in there. A man came up to him and said, I am SHINABU, your soul sword. Take me and use me to help the good and destroy the evil. There was a Table in front of them. A sword mysteriously appeared in a flash
lightning looking thing. SHIBANU then said, take me and use me for I am now yours. Garon then grabbed the sword by its hilt and held it up as it glistened.
Chapter 3: new powers
SHIBANU flew into the sword. Garon had taken his first step as gaurdian. The sword SHIBANU was a mixture of a very dark but slick red and a mystical blue. Its look amazed Garon. So then John did the same. Except he it wasn’t a sword he found it was a large ball of weird looking soul energy. And it
suddenly flew straight into his body in a whirlwind. John jolted like as if being struck by a lightning bolt. Then he came back out of his mind. Jokana said, now this is where your training begins! John will train with me, and you Garon will train with the spirit of your sword and a great sword master by the name of Zabura. Something flashed in front of Garon and there in front of him was a muscular athletic looking man about his size. However he had large scars
across his face including a big scar across his eye. He then spoke to Garon and said, Follow me this way newcomer. John said bye to Garon. Little did they know they would be training apart from each other for five days. Garon followed this mysterious man who he assumed was Zabura. When he stopped
after traveling a mile away from the others, he spoke to Garon saying, I am going to first teach you how to strike. Well that’s easy replied Garon. I am not talking about any simple strike I am talking about actually hitting someone like me with it. I am talking about a technical powerful but quick strike. that’s
when Garon said, ok teach me I am sorry for talking like I knew what I was doing. Alright that’s what I was hoping to hear, Replied Zabura. Now follow my motions and try to do exactly what I do for a starting stance. Zabura slowly moved his arm that didn’t hold a sword up as long as possible, then lowered it
slightly and pointed it forward. After doing this he took his sword hand and lifted up and pointed it forward, and moved his legs apart. He then said, now you do the same. So Garon did the same. Then Zabura said, I want you to watch me closely and see how I attack and my every movement. Zabura then
jumped and went forward in such a way it looked like he was flying, then he swooped down crushing the ground with his sword. It created a huge explosian on the ground putting something like crater in it. But Garon noticed that while Zabura was in the air his sword had a glow to it. Garon thought yelled, it must have been soul energy added to it! And then Zabura replied,
correct very smart you noticed that. That is what I want to teach you first. You have to concentrate your soul energy and put it into your sword. Garon nodded his head slowly and ok. He sat there what felt like hours but was only
about 10 minutes and learned how to make a quick spark on the sword. Zabura stood there just saying that’s it, you have almost got it. And then BAM! He did it! His sword gleamed… Garon was amazed that he had done it. Now concentrate your energy John, you can do it just try to shoot one wave of
energy and we will have accomplished very much for today. John yelled soul wave! And out came a burst of energy that soared through the sky while sparking. It made John utterly amazed at what he had just done. Then Jokana said, very well done that’s a record time for learning this technique, and by
the way nice name for it I was going to tell you to name it what you wanted anyways. So that’s the end of your first out of five days of training. Then they saw Garon and Zabura running towards them. When they arrived they all
transported to a bedroom where John and Garon stayed the night at.
Chapter 4: 4 days left
The very next morning Jokana came in the room and woke them up. She said, only four days left till your first mission so lets go. So they went back to the same training grounds as before. Once there they separated into groups once again. Zabura to Garon that they today would learn basic stances, stamina, and how to use SHIBANU. Zabura and Garon first had a unique and quick lesson on striking and basic movements, and Garon learned this easily. Garon had learned from this lesson how to use his sword regularly, and how to do basic strikes. Then Zabura taught him a few stances, followed by a very special technique. Zabura said, this technique will be the most advanced thing you will learn through out this training period. It should be used only once during a battle for it should be a finishing move and will take massive amounts
of soul energy. This technique is one to improve on what you learned yesterday and it is called soul sword lightning. So you use this attack and it shoots out a extremely quick bolt of soul energy from your swords tip that eradicates your enemy. But beware only use this if needed because if you use
it to early in a battle and it doesn’t work then you will be drained of energy and unable to fight… John I am going to teach you how to make you casual soul wave from yesterday larger and stronger then before that is our only goal for today, because once that is accomplished I can teach you the harder things. You and Garon have high amounts of soul energy, however your
inexperienced and you can drain it quickly. You cant just explode huge amounts of soul energy you must concentrate and control it to make it the most powerful and to do it the most often. So I want to see you shoot a large soul wave that is weak, and one that is strong. I will be able to block one of them and will step out of the way of the other you will see. So John did his
best and searched within for soul energy found some and tried to gather it into his hands. Once doing so he sent out a huge mass of soul energy that went straight to Jokana. As soon as reaching her she just flicked it away. She then said, this is what I am talking about, you must control and make it strong
while being large you cant just send out a blob. John continued practicing this for several hours. Meanwhile Garon’s training was going very well. You could tell that the job of Soul Guardian was meant for them. Towards the end of the day Zabura told Garon that this was the last day for learning techniques, and
that they would from then on practice on targets and they would spar with each other. John finally after spending several hours practicing with Jokana knew he was going to do it right this time, he could just feel it in him to unleash this great power. So he stood there and with all is might he yelled out soul wave and a enormous amount of soul energy flew threw the air and
Jokana jumped out of the way and said, you passed today’s lesson good work John. And Garon was also able to do the days lessons they were both doing great. It seemed like they were already ready to go into a mission. For the next day John learned a very special technique called a split wave. This technique shot out several smaller soul waves, not as strong as the one soul
wave but shot out more of them so it would deal damage to more people. Meanwhile Garon and Zabura started there sparring matches. Garon at first had no chance, but he gained experience and he wasn’t like a sitting duck anymore. John continued practicing the techniques learned until the end of the day. When it came, before they went to sleep that night they new the last
two days would be tough. The next day when they woke up, Jokana and Zabura were there waiting for them. They said, we arnt going to start off with training today, we are going to treat you to breakfast, I mean surely you must be hungry said Jokana. So they went to breakfast and ate a huge meal. When finished though they did go to the training dessert as usual. But when arriving
there Jokana told John and Garon that they were to fight each other for the days lesson. They were puzzled not knowing how to reply anyway but start the fight. They just replied, ok. They lined up on a field that was preset for the match and waited there until they were told to start. Jokana yelled, GO! They immediately with no hesitation rushed at each other. Garon in mid air
withdrew his sword from its hilt and it gleamed in the sunlight as he clashed with fist of energy that John had made. Garon then flew back to the ground from the energy. Garon quickly realized that against energy he would have to use energy. He used the first technique he had learned and put soul energy
on the lining of the sword and clashed back against John but this time John was the one who lost the upper hand and didn’t fly back but was knocked down. Then John realized this wouldn’t be easy also. It was an extremely even match, but they still clashed back in forth trying to hit the other. When all of a sudden Garon Slashed his sword to hit John , and right when John was
going to block it Garon made a quick maneuver and changed the route of his sword and almost hit John with it, but stopped before hitting declaring that he had won. Jokana and Zabura were very happy with the outcome noticing that garon and john were quite strong. They said, Garon you win for today but tomorrow you two will fight once more and we will see who wins. They went
home after that said. But during that whole night John was outside and he was training his split wave and soul wave. While training he developed is very own move. It was pretty much a single shot from the split wave but it was stronger faster and only used the energy that was used to make a single split. Then after developing this new technique he went to bed. The next morning they went straight to the battle field. When they arrived there they did the same as the day before starting at the field and began almost the
exact same way and all. But during this John was gathering soul energy more and more to unleash a soul wave. One time when they clashed John finaly unleashed it. A BOOM! Sounded and a gigantic amount of soul energy flew from John’s hands and went towards Garon at the moment Garon shot out a Soul energy burst from his sword and the to masses of soul energy hit each
other, while both Garon and John having soul energy flowing out of them. It seemed even in strength when it just exploded and John and Garon both jolted back to the sandy ground having a hard hit. Jokana then immediately yelled, DRAW! Garon and John had been equally matched. They were taken to there beds where Jokana healed them. That was the last day of training for
Garon and John. Little did they know there were already missions ready for them the very next day.

It was pretty much a single shot from the split wave but it was stronger faster and only used the energy that was used to make a single split. Then after developing this new technique he went to bed. The next morning they went straight to the battle field. When they arrived there they did the same as the day before starting at the field and began almost the
exact same way and all. But during this John was gathering soul energy more and more to unleash a soul wave. One time when they clashed John finaly unleashed it. A BOOM! Sounded and a gigantic amount of soul energy flew from John’s hands and went towards Garon at the moment Garon shot out a Soul energy burst from his sword and the to masses of soul energy hit each
other, while both Garon and John having soul energy flowing out of them. It seemed even in strength when it just exploded and John and Garon both jolted back to the sandy ground having a hard hit. Jokana then immediately yelled, DRAW! Garon and John had been equally matched. They were taken to there beds where Jokana healed them. That was the last day of training for
Garon and John. Little did they know there were already missions ready for them the very next day.
