Bleach Dub #24

Aired in Canada, YTV rocks.

Anyways, many captain and vice captain voices are debuted here, so I'm giving my opinions ^-^

Hinamori (Momo) - First line she said was not what I expected, but it was not like its bad. Just low...

Mayuri - Ok, snake like! I think it matches him.

Shunsi - Only one line, and it was too quick for an impression, but there wasn't anything noticeable about it to me

Soi Fon - Was it high to anyone? But again, its a take on it.

Matsumato (Ragiku) - uh... I'm not feeling her personality... though she wasn't saying much and was supposed to be bored

Hitsugaya - I find it fine, they got his annoyance at least. A bit mature..

omg i love this episode all the captains' voices are right on i love em Yamaji's voice is the best to me even Gin's voice is starting to get good to me the dub is just getting better and better

Heh, I never thought of that, but now that you point it out, I think I'm going to have a hard time not picturing that. Terrence Stone did a pretty good job, though. At first I was put off by the voice because it wasn't what I was expecting, but it definately works for the character. I just don't like how everybody's getting double casted so much.

There were a few I didn't particularly care for, like Yamamoto, Soi Fong, and Tousen (who sounded like Eeyore), but Hitsugaya's voice was pretty much the only one I really disliked. Yuri just sounded way too old for the kid. While I understand he's supposed to be a very mature young man, giving him the voice of a twenty year old is going too far.

Liked Matsumoto and Hinamori's voice, though they didn't blow me away or anything like that. Iba was much different from the original, but I'm digging it for some reason.

Why is a high pitched, super happy Amy Rose voice coming out of Soi Fong's mouth?

Hitsugaya is good, I'm currently laughing at all the people going "WHY DOESN'T HE SOUND LIKE A KID!?!!?"

Tousen and Kyouraku are okay, don't mind.

Kurotsuchi has a very good voice, only problem in this scene is that instead of calmy interrogating Ichimaru, the director is making him shout his ass off.

Yamamoto, doesn't have as much as an old man voice as the original, but he is very deep and sort of evil sounding, and sometimes muffles his words like an old man.

Himamori-very good, nearly perfect tone match

Iba- WHAT THE **** IS THAT!?!?!

Hitsugaya's voice kinda reminds me of Edward Elric, is it the same VA?
The captain Commander's voice was awesome.

I thought that they were ending on ep 23 for the season? Was I wrong and it's this ep, or are they going a little further?

ok matsumoto's doesn't seem right to me, imo no offense but her voice makes her sound really smart, hitsugaya its not really kid enough, hinamori though is perfect to what I thought it would be, mayuri well i don't like that guy, but it could be more crazy or out there voice, soi fon i would like to hear more of hers before i can make a choice, and the commander very good nice match.

Matsumoto's voice sounds fine to me. She does sound smart, but aside from being incredibly lazy she actually is quite smart so that is fine by me.

Hinamori is also very, very good. Possibly the best voice aside from Aizen.

Hitsugaya... I laughed. Hard. Let's leave it at that.

Hinamori, Tousen, yamamoto, and Matsumoto were all good.

Iba sounded weird... but I can accept that. Kurotsuchi would've been good if he didn't scream the whole time.

I know Hitsugaya only had one line, but still, I didn't really like. I'll give the VA another chance, though.

I'm proud that Gin and Aizen hit their roles right on the mark, many complains still head this way, to dust off first Ganju's getting a wallop of improvement!
Now Yammamoto...those first lines put me in quite a scare, the blatant impression of a kid taking on the role of his old man, his ending terms were aiet.
Hinamori and Renji, you're doing quite well but still(renji) manage to misplace your power of speech in some spots.
Rangiku, you need to be cautious you're crossing that line of an unwanted malapert and your traditional sassiness.
Iba I'm mad with you! as a military dunce you've lost your style!
Kuukaku quickly got her part done quite nicely ^^
And at last these captains..Tousen with such a shy impression you'll never convince me as an orator! Little improvement Zaraki, you cant seal your position in just yet. Weak-spirited Hitsugaya and sleesy pretty Soi Fong stereotypes aren't cutting it for me! Kurotsuchi might need just a twitch(seriously is something in your mouth?) and Shunsui came out with the heavy puff of a smoker, though as a drinker that might become acceptable.. :/

Hitsugaya sounds to mature for someone of his age. Kenpachi has kind of a menacing voice, but imho it should be slightly deeper. But we haven't seen his.. 'fighting' voice per say, so it might be a bit more fearsome. Gin's voice is right on, sounds sly and mischievious. Shunsui needs some work still, his voice is laid back. But not quite enough to the point where it's 'chill' like his attitude throughout most of the series. Mayuri's voice is right on imho, a real... psycho scientist. Tousen... I dunno.. it's really up in the air, it's hard to tell at least from my stand point.

I saw the dub yesterday. I kept having my friend stop it on certain parts that seemed funny like when Zaraki and Mayuri step towards each other. For the voices: Good: Rangiku, Iba, Hinamori, Hitsugaya, Tousen, Soi Fon, Yamamoto
Not bad: Shunsui, Mayuri
Bad: None surprisingly
Some lines were hilarious. Hitsugaya's line "Oh man, not again" was funny,Yamamoto's "STOP!", Mayuri's "What did you say!?", and especially Soi Fon's "So stupid" doesn't get old. Also, the way Iba says Hitsugaya is funny.

Show is getting better and better each time I see it and I feel the cast is really understanding the world of Bleach.

Hmm, Soifon's wasn't definitely too high. And, I hate to say it, but Tousen's voice had too much Southern drawl.

All the voices were good IMO. I thought that they would give Vic Mignogna Hitsugaya's role, but I guess that decided differently. Still, it would've been awesome since the seiyuu that does Ed's voice does Hitsugaya's from what I hear.
