Spam bot thread-please delete

there's these spam threads occasionally...I was wondering...
what exactly are they? Is it assholes who want to spam the forums, or a spam bot?

Spambots are either automated programs or humans who post for companies, porn sites, or other BS on boards. They do it under the assumption that people actually click their links.

This forum should have the "Are you a human" question when you register, that stops most bots.
