- Fenrir feels invigorated by his battle with Edrial and his thirst for power is now renewed. He makes his way to the all too familiar duel ring. As he walks through the initial partition he notices Grasshopper fighting a shinigami. He smirks as he remembers his battles with the hollow. Just then the shinigami lands a death blow on Grasshopper and he falls to the ground. As he's standing to the side observing he is bumped by a passing hollow.....

"You smell strong young hollow.....let's see how much strength you have left to gain. "

- The hollow swipes at Fenrir, but Fenrir flash-steps away from him and into the duel ring. Fenrir glares up at the hollow who has also entered the ring. He then notices something to his left. Its the unconscious Grasshopper. ready for an interesting battle, Fenrir uses his reiryoku to blow Grasshopper's body out of the ring.

Requirements: Claw Swipe, STR 6
Difficulty: Impossible (STR)
RP Cost: 25
DC: 8 + STR + 4 (Penetration)
Damage: 79
Save: Half damage (40)

The Hollow may only use this ability after successfully completing Claw Swipe AND landing two hits on a single attack roll.

The Hollow buries its claws into its opponent, then uses its tremendous physical strength to literally tear its foe apart.

- Fenrir flash-steps behind Mantis, in a quick panic Mantis flash-steps across the duel ring. As he looks across the duel ring, Fenrir is nowhere to be found. In confusion Mantis looks about in search of the hollow. Mantis then feels a great mass of reiryoku coming from above. He looks up to see a bolt of Cero crashing down on him.

- Mantis cannot react in time and is hit directly by Fenrir's Cero. Fenrir lands on his feet with his back toward Mantis. As he begins walking away with the intention of leaving the duel ring he suddenly stops when he feels a great increase in reiryoku coming from the crater his Cero created. Fenrir turns with a surprised look on his face toward the crater.....

((Er, Mantis adds his CON bonus to saves. It wouldn't have changed things since he needs to beat the DC and not make it, but remember that in the future. Also, Mantis NEVER uses an attack for his first action. He uses Ikashi and Berserk - two actions in the first round because he's level 7 - and next round he attacks with 18d10 and massive damage.))

((Hmm. You know, I'm not sure it says that anywhere. I mean, logically, it's the best course of action, but it's not as though mr. boat's trying to sandbag the fight for free exp...I certainly don't see a problem with not following a standard course of action determined by someone else.

And now, I'm going to go eat you.

" It seems I......took you t......too lightly. Time to get serious... "

- Fenrir gathers most of the reiryoku he has left and charges Mantis.....
