It stared me down; eyes bloodshot red; teeth dripping with saliva; grunting out a smelly mist. It moved, very quickly. I almost could not keep up.

My attempts to dodge his attacks proved futile. A single swipe threw me across the arena. I gasped for air as i skidded against the ground, time after time after time. I rolled onto my stomach and forced my body to rise to its feet. I coughed.

My rattling knees will only hold for so long.

Tarantula menacingly gazed into my eyes, into my soul, waiting, wanting to rip it out. I unsheathed my sword and plead for its power.

Batsu...Hishou Taka.

I coughed a fourth time.

I hoped that added power from Hishou Taka would give me enough of an edge to win this battle, but its a stretch, by any standard.

In an instant I vanished, I tried to move at the same speed Tarantula had just demonstrated.

I closed my fist as tight as i could and drove down on his head.

Tarantula giggled at my crude attempt. I'd laugh at myself too, if it wouldn't make me seem crazy. In contrast to his earlier attack, Tarantula walked towards me, digging a hole as his stabbed his legs into the ground. When he was around 6 feet infront of me, he swept the floor with one of his legs.

I jumped high into the air, clearing the sweep by several feet.

Phew...i guess i can take it easy for a while.

Even in my crippled state, Hishou taka's agility greatly assists me in this battle. I suppose i should polish my sword a little later. After i lose, that is.

I mimicked Tarantula and advanced slowly. I did not have the power to break the earth as i stepped but I think i gave off that watch out feeling i was looking for. I lifted my legs back and preformed a front flip. With my leg extended i smashed my foot towards the ground, passing through Tarantula's body first, god permitting.

Tarantula attempted to dodge my barrage, but i still managed to graze his shoulder.

He looked angry, angrier than he usually is. He moved at a swift pace and struck at my neck.

I decided to change the pace of the battle. This stalemate of attacks and dodges were getting us nowhere, if anything it just wore me out. I flashed stepped my way towards Tarantula and head butted his face.

He still wasnt able to move, one more moment, and i'll be able to attack, and even kill him.

I shunpo'd closer to Tarantula and raised my arm. A white reiatsu engulfed it, the embodiment of the wind. I struck down as hard as i could in hopes of breaking the little bastard's spine.
