Anyone heard of them or like them?

I've recently downloaded an as$load of their songs from their album 'Eyes Open'. I really recommend them.

They're Irish O: I like Snow Patrol, their songs are pretty good but I know a lot of people who dont like them or their style *shrugs* Oh well, I like them :Domo

yeah i like snow partol there the type of music you can have in the background and just chill too.
i don't think there depressing but then again i say that about radiohead all the time

Actually it's really a half and half thing. Whilst they did form in Scotland the two guys who formed it (Gary Lightbody and man sacked after Final Straw by Gary since Gary is a bit of an arsewipe) are both Northern Irish so both countries have a claim.

Anyway, back on topic I can't say I really like Snow Patrol. I don't dislike them either. They're just so incredibly middle of the road that them being on is really the same as nothing being on to me...

Although a big Snow Patrol fan I know said their first two albums are their best and I'd really like to hear the Reindeer Section stuff Gary led (essentially him and some of the best Scottish musicans getting together to make an album).

I don't think their music is depressing, sometimes a little bit boring (especially when they repeat things too much) ... But I still like them! ^^
