Anyone else thought of: "How ironic that the english Bleach both dub and manga fell into one of Kubo's Quotes"
"Don't use so strong words, it'll make you sound weak"
That line is golden, but its precicely what the english translaters have done:eek13: ...
Changing:
Cero to Doom Blast
Shatter/Scatter to Die
Not to mention overuse of power words such as Totally
Its just ironic, don't know what else to call it.
Anyone else found some, and remember we are in the dub section, so people don't want spoilers(which is why i didn't write the character name)

Actually, they do call it a Cero...you must've gotten confused. In episode 14, Rukia says, "Oh no...a Cero? Does he intend to release a doom blast right here?" Just a bit of clarification.
Really? When did they said that, and who said that? I don't remember...

I haven't heard cero changed yet, but Full Metal Ichigo has clarified that.
When has shatter/scatter been used yet? If I'm not wrong, it hasn't been used yet.
And you totally are the only one, totally, to notice the use of the word totally.
Totally!

Scatter, Senbonzakura has been translated into "Die, Senbonzakura" in the Viz translation of the manga (can be seen in Volume 14 if i remember right).
But yeah, I think it kinda kills it imho. I guess its just the gap and culture differences of America and Japan..

I guess most of the ones i mentioned are from the Viz manga, corse ive read that one more times, then i've seen the dub:rolleye09
@ kensei_viz
I think it might be more of em making the serie simpler, which i HATE em for doing... spc corse then when the strong words really should appear thy'll fell like nothing spc at all:sad

Well from what I can tell about the dub the anime dub does not give a damn for what things are called in the Viz manga. Thats why Ikkaku's zanpakutou was not called dragon lamp and why cero has retained its name.
Basically, ignore whatever mistakes or stupidities the Viz manga has done since the dubbers seem to have more respect for the original anime than Viz does for the original manga.

Cero to doom Blast? sorry but that just sound completely gay, i wish the people who do the dubs would keep some of the original translations and even some of the japanese words as they sound soooo much cooler.

Did you read my post? They did keep it as cero. Only the manga did that stupid translation. The dub has basically kept every Japanese word except shinigami.
