Has anyone read this series?
They made it into a t.v. show on Scfi-Fi, but its nothing like the books.

It was written by Jim Butcher, and it is probably one of the best book series's I've read. Now don't just say no when you read my description, because it may not be that good.

It's about a wizard named Harry Dresden. He lives in Chicago and is a PI and helps out his friend, Karrin Murphy, on abnormal cases in the Chicago PD. Now, the character of dresden is sarcastic and cracks jokes all the time. He has another friend, Bob the Skull. Now, Bob is one of my favorite characters. he is an air spirit, trapped in a skull. He is supposed to be a spirit of intellect, and he helps Harry on many cases, but mainly, he is a huge pervert :headbang

There are 7 books so far, and Jim plans on writing somewhere between 21 and 23 books total. Each book is a different case, some having vampires, some with werewolves, some with necromancers, and some with just plain badass sorcerers (As Harry would put it).

It is a hilarious, violent, addicting series, and The Dresden Files is a MUST READ!!!!!!

(First book is called Storm Front)

:o Replies!

Lol, I thought it would never happen!

Well, I loved the series, and Jim Butcher says he is coming out with 20+ books in the series, and he only has...7-8?...out now!

Should be fun :)
