Agreed on all levels, frankly that guy looks way too feminine to be Ichigo. Uhara however looks pretty good to me, though he needs to bulk up alittle too. Seriously if their going to make a real life movie outta Bleach they should make sure all the male charecters have alittle more meat on them. No offence to others.

Why do people feel the need to get bright orange wigs and spike them ridiculously large to do Ichigo's hair? Some guy simply bleach/dyed his hair orange and spiked it (like a normal person spikes their short hair) at anime expo and managed to do a rather decent Ichigo. That aside,

Yeah, those guys are pretty girlie (then again, it's probably to attract female viewers. Apparently chicks dig metrosexuals o_O; )
I'd hate to see a live action Bleach. You can't transfer animes to live action...just doesn't work unless it's something realistic already.

i think if its done well bleach could be a good live action movie, but those guys were just awful. I bleach the hair is usually done on the characters so it looks passable for the real world, the right way to do it should be as hasuke says ^

though iv always thought, can you imagine someone trying to make their hair look like goku's :P

It's probable a hoax...(seeing as the person that posted the topic has only one message to begin with, they probable did it to see how many people would reply, I'm guessing they got their laugh out of it so far)
And if they did, like the person said, they would have a hard time finding a Gin, unless they got someone fresh out of plastic surgery, y'know, cause most of those people are left smiling and have a limited amount of movement in their face.

If I hear good reviews, I'll go ahead and have a look, if not, I shall employ Karin's words of wisdom. x]; I still cringe though...Urahara looks pretty good. ^^; But yeah, needs to be more broad. A lot of Japanese people aren't very meaty though. o.o; Ichigo.....coulda been worse. ^^;;;;

And if it's just a joke, it could still actually happen. O_o If the anime is popular enough.....But yeah, I'd like to see who'd be Gin. XD; Poor facial muscles.

honestly the movie could have potential, i mean plenty of comic books became movies. X-Men, Spiderman. I do however believe it would be best done in America, due to our habit of spending millions upon millions of dollars on movies. and Gin wouldnt need to be squinting just creepy.

You can't just base your opinion from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Live Action. That would be completely drastic.

What about Gokusen? GTO? Hana Yori Dango (most recent of the three)?

Those are all dramas based from manga. I mean, if you're going to compare this sorry excuse for a movie to BSSM live action, which is a kids' show, then think again.

I don't think they'd go as far as the orange wigs, though. It really wouldn't make sense. The musical didn't have an orange-haired guy, did it?

P.S. Those boys are really, really girly.

I'm still sceptical over it..even though my friend (who got transferred to work in Japan) went to the musical and said it was pretty good and hilarious. He said it's a rock musical with the cast rapping and dancing and stuff but it was ultimate comedy. =__=

Lol, the "Chinese drama version" you're referring to, is called Meteor Garden, and it's actually Taiwanese. I'm talking about Hana Yori Dango, the Jdrama.

Whoops, I keep getting the two mixed up. >.< Yeah, Meteor Garden. ^_^It was pretty good, though they set the school as a university rather than a high school. =] I like how they stuck to the funky Domyouji hair with Jerry (Dao Ming Si). Yeah, it's pretty good! I saw the first episode. ^_^ When Makino does the jumping routine before she punches, though, it kinda annoys me in a hysterical sense. O_o;

Yeah, someone on another forum said that she heard it was very good. But yeah, I skeptical about it too. XD; I tend to relate Bleach with music, but....not like THAT. O__o; Coulda been worse....coulda been....a full-blown romance musical. XD;;;

i would be quite excited about this but only because i would like to see who they could get to fill yoruichi and matsumoto's "shoes" as it were. other then that though they would probably butcher it, still at least the GTO film was quite good so some hope.
i doubt it is real aswell but not sure wether to hope it is or isn't.

There was actually an interview with Kubo Tite in Shonen Jump a few months ago, and in it he pretty much put any chance of a live-action version of Bleach in the same category as getting a robotic chimp as El Presidente de los Estados Unidos - i.e., no chance in hell.

Edit: Oops, didn't realize this was about the musical. Well, might as well put in my two cents about that as well. I think it has some potential, but for the most part, I feel it's better left as a manga/anime.
