Go Rockets!!! Go Yao!!!
The Eastern Conference match ups will be very interesting, actually having some quality teams filling up the top 5 there. Also, the possible first round match up between Dallas and Golden State is also gonna be fun to watch, for there exists the most possible 1-8 upset.
Yeah, I never watched those Warrior-Mavs games. What have they been doing to beat Dallas?

Yeah, I never watched those Warrior-Mavs games. What have they been doing to beat Dallas?
They ran lots like Phoenix does, but they have more isolation star power than Phoenix does, which poses as a very big problem for Dallas. Against Phoenix, they have to worry about Nash/Stoudamire/Barbosa as being playmakers. However, against Golden State, they have to worry about Davis/Richardson/Jackson/Ellis, which is basically 1 more than they can handle. Individual playmaking ability can make up for a slight lack of team chemistry, which makes Golden State extremely dangerous against Dallas.
I got the mavs and the Bulls going at it in the finals.
I like the Bullsover the Heat in east and Mavs over the Jazz in west. As we ssaw sunday, If Tim Duncan is gone, Spurs dont have enough depth for the MAVS

Gah i hope the Cavs win and Bulls lose, i don't want to face Miami in the First round :lol
My finals pick would be Detroit and Dallas (yea i know i'm going out on a limb for this one :lol and i utterly despise Detroit)
Looking good so far. At the moment, Cleveland is leading the 81-72 over the Bucks, and the Bulls are down 40-52 at halftime againsts the Nets :)

i was so heartbroken last season when dallas lost to miami despite of an early 2-0 lead in the finals. hope it doesn't happen again this season.
and dirk for mvp!
forgive me, i'm just a mavs fan.
Yeah, I really thought the Mavs deserved it last year. This year, too, but it may go to the Suns as well. Also, the Mavs against the Warriors first round :0 Mavs have had problems against them and yesterday the Warriors won once again (although, given the fact that the Mavs sat out their key players, it is to be expected).

mavs will get it back. and yes, if not the mavs, i'd go for the suns.

At least we get a depleted wizards team so it should be over in 4-5 games (although i wish it was like last year, boy what a series that was). ah well go Cavs (and if we end up against the pistons again rebound the damn ball...) :Domo
What a waste of Agent Zero's heroics this season.

how 'bout them mavs, win 67 games and get ousted in the first round by a .500 team.
Cavs looked rusty, but at least they won... and death to the Jazz (preferably Carlos Boozer)

It's really unbelievable why mavericks with most wins and many winning streaks were stopped by the warriors.. and its baron davis is better in warriors than in hornets.
That Spurs vs Suns game was amazing. Nash was bloodied pretty badly :0

Im pullin for the Spurs to beat the Suns. Bah they beat my Lakers again this year. (LOL) Im also pullin for the Warriors to beat the Jazz. I mean hey, they beat a 67 win team!
Golden State lost a toughy. I really thought they'd take home court advantage away from Utah, but now they're going home down 2-0 :0
I'm betting that the winner of the Suns-Spurs series will win it all =D

Yeah seriously wtf? GS HAD that game last night.
I'm rootin for GS, but seriously...there was absolutely no clutch last night. NO CLUTCH. UP 5 POINTS WITH 35 SECONDS TO GO AND YOU CAN'T WIN?
Needless to say, I was pretty pissed.
Rorschach
05-11-2007, 05:30 AM
Wow the Bulls blew a big lead :rolleye09
If the Cavs win one in NJ it looks like it's gonna be a Cleveland v Detroit series (Central div is class of Eastern Conference as always)
Yeah, what's up with the Bulls? 19 after three quarters, right? Oh well, I'm still looking forward to game 3 between the Suns and Spurs :0

Agh GS lost yesterday. Carlos Boozer just killed em. Now GS has to sweep the rest of the games just to win the series. They're down 3-1. The series should actually be 2-2 xcept game 2 GS must have fallen asleep. It's gonna be hard for them to take the series but i'm still rooten for em.
Hey miracles happen

I love GS but honestly I don't think they can win. They're not clutch. WTF was with all those missed FT during the last few seconds? They could have easily closed Utah out.

Saw the Spurs-Suns game and man, I have to admit the Suns pulled a couple of tricks to get the lead and was Robert Horry did by shoulder (elbow?) shoving Steve Nash in frustration was pretty messed up if you ask me.

i saw that game Horry used his arm, Diaw went and got all in Horry's Face and Nash was ready too kick Horry's ass too. Stoudemire got involved with it too, but he said some stupid shit "Coach told Me to check back in the game"
Now because of this Diaw and Stoudemire are suspended for one game and Horry is suspended for two
the NBA has some stupid rules like, if a fight breaks out and you leave your bench your automactically suspended? O_o
anyway too sum things up...
...GO SUNS!!! :cheer :cheer :cheer

I still have adrenaline through me from that game. They would have destroyed the Spurs if they had Diaw and Stoudemire. DAMN.
They held up well all the way until that clutch 3 by Bowen. Faggot.

Wow what a game Lebron was a beast
But the Cavs where up 3-2 last year after 5 i hope we can close it out this time...
That was pure madness. All playoff games should be like this. Time to close out, LeBron.

It's gonna be a madhouse in Cleveland on Saturday, the Cavs are in the Q, and the Tribe are in the Jake (both against a Detroit team).

Well the Mavs, Nets, and Pisstons have had playoff experience, and they're home now, and the Spurs are OLD...
Wait i need to make fun of Carlos Boozer now
I had Spurs in my book since Feb. Anyways I thougt LeBron stunk tonight. That kid Daniel Gibson is verry tight though. I always thought the cavs were gonna get to the finals once I saw their easy draw. I think playing weak compotition is hurting em goin to play the Spurs

it was miracle that cleveland trumped detroit. detroit and possibly chicago were the only teams that can give the spurs a run for their money.
East is JV. It was so obvious Spurs were gonna win. LeBron was terrible. Talk about dissapearin He better score 48 points evertime they are in the playoffs.
That was the biggest disappointment of a series. I expected more thrills from the Finals.

How so? The cavs suck and didn't deserve to be there in the first place, a sweep is exactly how it should have gone.

The Cavs won 50 games this year, had one of the better defenses in the league and won the Eastern Conference (plus "experts" picked the Nets to beat the Cavs), don't tell me they didn't belong.
In the end the Cavs showed their inexperience, shots players normally made didn't fall, and ran up against the best team in the NBA. The Cavs had an amazing run and it brought the city of Cleveland, that hasn't won a professional championship since 1964, hope, and thats what is most important. Until the next season begins GO TRIBE!
The whole East playoffs got messed up when Chicago and Miami played each other right away, Every one knew the winner of that series wouldnt have enough gas to puh past Detroitwtf are you kidding me.. Yea he is, Wades clutch, Tha Prince isn't, LeBron missed easy shots when it actually counted, and Wade had Shaq, big deal, Shaqs washed up. The only thing LeBron is is overpayed and overrated.
