It's not just a chakra bank, it's much more. It's basically the same as Ogichi in Bleach. You got an extra power sources that knows WAY more stuff than you do and he can power you up to Hokage level easy (Naruto 4t > Jiraya big time). The only thing is you gotta learn to control it or you ain't done nothing.

We all know that Sasuke has the chidori and Naruto has rasengan. And now of course Naruto has the Wind Element Rasengan (cant remember what the hell its called). But imo chidori still beats the Wind Element Rasengan.
Reasons:
a)Wind Element Rasengan requires tons of concentration and a lot more chakra for what? to overkill your opponent? its just not necessary.

b)chidori is far more efficient, its basically just putting chakra into your hand so that way you can ream it through your opponents. It gets the job done with a lower cost.

c)The Wind Element Rasengan takes alot of clones to produce and they are basically sitting ducks while doing it. All you have to do is kill one clone and the jutsu fails.

so thanks kishi =P

You can always produce like a thousand+ clones, have like a dozen make the Rasengan, and then only one of them will hit... a total kill.

This Jutsu kills and not stops, which Naruto doesn't want to do against Sasuke.

Anyway everyone can predict how Naruto fights :
1.) First he'll spam some Kage Bunshin
2.) If you don't watchout you may get hit with a Rasengan made by one of the clones

This Example was shown when he fought Kabuto outside Orochimaru's lair during the Retrieve Sasuke Arc.

Nothing has changed since he got Fuuton Rasen Shuriken he does the same patterns over and over again.
he even did the same thing during a simulation battle against Yamato.
he did the same thing TWICE!! I'll say it AGAIN!!! TWICE!!! 2X...TWO TIMES!! against Kakuzu!!!
- The Kagebunshin's are there to distract you
- while he himself (or another bunshin) hit's you with the Rasengan! or FRS or some kinda heavy HIT!!!

Right now lemme tell you something, since the Rasengan takes a couple of seconds to be formed any other wise Shinobi will think : "Hey! that's some serious Jutsu I must by any means NOT be hit by that". do you know how many times that attack pattern failed already? ALOT!!!

- I can swallow the Kage Bunshin since it has been haxed greatly I accepted the Kage Bunshin a long long time ago already.

Naruto needs to learn a few more jutsus of mid range and improve his intelligence, taijutsu and speed (they seriously sux). Naruto cant always rely on kyubi, who knows how many years of life he has lost cuz of the kyubi (when he goes tails). Imo, the only reason sasuke seems like a better fighter is becuz of his "versatility". Naruto doesnt haves that, he only haves kage bunshin and rasengan with its variants that are pretty much useless if he were to fight someone like Deidara, Itachi... well... the rest of the akatsuki members, on his own. (i know Deidara isnt going to live long but wth...). Anyway, i really hope he starts learning new things besides another uber powerfull close ranged rasengan, or at least make the rasenshuriken fly damit!
Also, note that i said Sasuke is a better fighter (ninja, shinobi, whatever >.<), but it doesnt means sasuke is more powerfull than naruto. Naruto is a powerhouse, he's just dumb and cant learn anything new without a walkthrough... plus his fighting skills sux a lot as opposed to sasuke... And i cant believe Naruto havent though of making his bunshin explode like itachi, really, he just haves to spawn a few thousands bunshins, make them charge onto the enemy and make the bunshin xplode. I guess there will be no need for rasengan if he were to do that tho >.<
