Well Undy has requested me to make shiz for the seated members, and to help in the transition to black knights.

Once your seat names have been decided i will make you a lil sig/emblem to show which knight you are. You don't have to have it as your current but as long as it's in your sig somewhere (Stick it in a spoiler) it's all good. I'll try and keep it all in the same theme, but if I can't find a decent stock or I lack inspiration then tough shit :P

If you think you've found a nice good quality stock/render that suits with your title, post it here and i'll use it. Sensible Ideas for themes, styles etc. are welcome too :)

Also the issue of the userbar:
Undy would like it to be red-ish. That is all...

I'm thinking of doing a digi-painting, as it's a popular style these days, and no other div (or even group) on CB has such a userbar. Of course the difficulty is finding a good idea to paint and making it work well.

No specific style is required, everyone is welcome to post their attempts, or ideas and we will decide on what is best.

I know I can do better, but I'm supposed to be studying for exams and end up rushing my sigs these days :P

Emmasu: Painting is VERY complex and it takes a lot of time and effort. Basic rules are, NO custom brushes, NO adjustment layers, NO filtered effects. For it to be 100% digi-painting you have to follow these rules. Absolutely everything has to be made with standard soft or hard round brushes. If you are painting one of your drawings or creating a decent Large piece then your allowed to cheat. ^_^

You need to be quite proficient at smudging as the majority of blending and making things look realistic will be done through smudging. Picking the correct colours can be quite tricky too. You also need to have good mouse control as everything is done by your hand. A wacom (http://www.wacom.com/) tablet makes this about 100x easier.

Painted sigs need a good concept to make them amazing, otherwise they look average and only impress because it's a painting not that it's actually good work. Try and use a concept you can relate to, or something as a tribute to someone, find your inspiration from somewhere. I usually make a sketch on paper of what I want to paint (It doesn't have to be a gd sketch, just rough ideas), and then try to follow it in photoshop. I've got loads of sketches down, but it's hard finding the time to paint :P

Downloading Seto's painted sig PSD (http://forums.bleachportal.net/showthread.php?t=32005) may help you understand.

Oh, and as I found at from Maxi, painting at twice your desired size, then reducing the finished product, keeps it looking sharp and realistic.

@Rihaku: So far we have the following ideas-

the kanji for 6 being formed by what looks like sword slashes in the center of the userbar, then shrinking some and sliding over to the left-hand side. then the words "6th division" appear at the top of the bar, and the word "smexy" appears underneath it.


Maybe Kensei could sketch like maybe an inner city scene? Then I'd color it in dark, cold colors, then throw pink and some yellow in there.

how about a cityscape, with a little swirl of cherry blossoms across it.


Doesn't have to be animated, so long as it looks cool and fits with Undy's requirement. Also I have to apologise for delay in Knight of the crimson lotus and knight zero's sigs, I'm having difficulty finding pwnage stocks I like :P I'll keep looking and they should be up in no time.

The names are for the seated members to chooses themselves I think.
