1. Is there a opening in Bleach Newsletter? (If there is, how do I apply?)

2. How to apply to other groups? (instead of the 13th)

Question 1: You have to be a member of 9th division to be a full newletter member, but I think they're allowing non-division members join the newletter for guest writer spots. I'm not sure, so don't take my word for it.

And most user groups require approval to join, or in the case of the Gotei division, that you pass the academy. But there are few that you can join with no problem just follow this path to get to the group membership area.

User CP > in the misc. section under control panel box. > Group Memberships

Yeah they are and you have to join via the user cp then group memberships then you have to say why you want to join and wait until you are notified if you are in or not.
To join a div other than 13th do the same thing, apply for the academy, pass then wait until someone asks you to join their div.

um... Where is the non-gotei groups? I can only find Arrancar and Vizard.

I know that, but what I really wanna know is their requirements, surely they don't just take anyone.

most of the group require you to give reasons and go through a process of application... except for the maihime ones :p
depending on what you want to join, for example a graphic team, you check out the apllication section of graphic teams and read what they require you to do to join. arrancar and vaizard are kinda special for they don't take anyone in... but i believe you still hve to go through the academy right?

^ I understand the GFX and Vizard/Arrancar is quite special case.

But there are many many other user groups in this forum I see that is unique, such as Newleter, Killa Crew, Central, and black list. However none of them, except for Gotei 13 and GFX (I do know Vizard/Arrancar also requires graduation from the Academy), list the requirements to join them, other than just post a reason.

I believe it is quite ... irregular to let a member in just for the reason they declared, don't you all agree to join the special group is more about personality than just a reason?

Thus putting requirements ables the members who are interested to know if they are willing/able to contributes to the group.

Anywho, most of them are GFX crews.
If your browse around the Arts & Graphics section, you should see a good number of them.

2nd:
You do not have to graduate or even enroll in the academy to be accepted into the Vaizards/Arrancars.

3rd:
You are not accepted into a group solely on the reason you provided.
There are other factors like reputation, forum activity &/or skills that are taken into account before the final decision is made

i believe u can join as many as you want... but of course you can only join one div, not all 13, and not all the gfx teams >< blacklist and killa are gfx teams too... get to know around cb and you'll find out more
and of course i did not mean they judge basely on reasons ^^

and sodeska, i didn't know one do not need to go through the academy to join vaizard/arrancar... thanks shin for enlightening me :p

Admin, could one of you please post the link to the page where all the of 13 Division requirements are at?

I saw it before but now I can't find it.

Its the page where each div. captain/VC explains their requirements.. like 50 + post counts, must be active, must have 2 or more Rep powers/ etc.

^it was in the FAQS (http://forums.bleachportal.net/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item8#faq_gotei_joining_reqs), which sandy recently updated. (they were pretty old & extremely outdated)

Currently there are no listed requirements for each division besides graduating the Shinigami Academy (http://forums.bleachportal.net/forumdisplay.php?f=42).
