There is a post of mine with the same topic, but what i'm talking about here is the last book of Harry Potte. The other one is just asking about the speculation of what might be the ending of the last movie, since Warner Bros. announced that they will finish all the sequels. SO this one, is about the book. Just so you know.

We all love the creation of J.K Rowling so much, her Harry Potter. Now that the last and final installment of the sequel is announced every h.p fan began talking about what might be the ending of the series. So I will ask you these:

IN the end of the installment, will Harry Potter die? How about the ever villain in the novel, Lord Voldemort. What will become of him for you? Who do you think will win in the battle between these two wizards? Only you h.p fan can make predictions that might be the answer to all the questions everyone's been bugging in.

Right. I'll go first.

As for me, I have a deep feeling that Harry will die in the last installment. ANd yes he will win in the battle with Voldemort, but will die in the process. I'll tell you why...

We all know and very well aware that both Voldemort's and Harry's wand has the same core since it all came from Dumbledore's Phoenix. both will continue fightng until one dies. It's in the propecy: "Neither will live while the other survives." So it's very obvious that voldemort can't survive while HArry lives, so from the very beginning til the last installment he tries to look for ways to kill harry. But that didn't work since the boy got the world on his back for him. The only way to end it is the battle between them. Only then that we will know who will win. The only disadvantage to voldemort though is that he didn't know the last part of the propecy since the one who overheard it was caught earvesdropping. COz that will truly help him how to defeat harry so he can reign the wizarding world. But it didn't happen. So only harry knows what will be that "powers the Dark lord knows not". That's the last part of the propecy which Harry knows. So harry has the most advantages. That's why voldemort ordered his men to steal that copy of the proprecy so that he can finish hearing the last part, which still didn't work. SO harry has the advantages since he already has all the knowledge he got from the old wizard so he can look for ways on what he will do. Only rowling can give us the truth as to what will really happen.

That's for me. Harry might die in the process defeating voldemort, or he will die peacefully in hte remaining years of his life. He might be the Minister of Magic, or just a plain head of the Aurors, since he loved that craft of catching dark wizards of his time with more exposure in the outside field reather than working in the office.

I am not completely sure of how this will end. there is so many ways.
If Harry will die, true, there will be no more books. But can Rowling really do that? Kill a well-liked hero that is the ideal to many children around the world? That would be like saying... " Don't be to strong or tre to be a hero.. cause you will end up dead in the end".

If Harry still lives, that for me is the most probable outcome (though all critics and reviewers beg to differ), what is there to stop Rowling from writong another book?
Maybe he grows up to be the head of the Aurors, maybe to fill the void that was left by Dumbledore.... But there should still be friendship between Ron, Hermione and Harry, and that might be reason enough for another book.

There must however be soome sort of closure to the story with Voldemort. And if Harry doesn't win, the world would go under, so that is not an option.
But I am not sure if he will die in the process of winning over Lord Voldemort. If he does... Then J.K. Rowling is not as nice as she seems... Millions of children will be overly sad! (me among them)
To be honest... I have no clue what she is thinking.... And I am so longing for the last book (that is coming out the day before my birthday!!!)

I think there's a pretty good chance that Harry and Voldemort will end up killing each other. To me that would be the only really good way to bring proper closure to the series; otherwise, everybody'd be wondering "What the hell goes on after Harry defeats Voldemort?" And you know that there would still be evil and stuff; Voldemort, as bad as he is, is not Sauron; besides, the Harry Potter world is too detailed and too cool for it to just end with Voldemort and nothing else interesting happens.

I personally dont think there will be a fight between Harry and Voldemort, I think that Neville is the one who will fight Voldemort in the end, and Harry will have a final showdown with Snape, or Voldemort manages to kill Neville in a fight and Harry shows up after defeating Snape to finish him off.
I'm not sure if Harry will die, but i do think either Harry, Ron or Hermionie will die.

I am impressed though that she's had the ending written since she started the series and it's been kept a secret.

Don't know, perhaps.

Not much into HP since the third movie and the 6'th book.

I'll likely still give it a look once it's out

I also think it's likely that both hp and big v will die, but I kinda hope that hp doesn't tho.Just because I'd like to see him resume his relationship with Ginny.Honestly can't see JK writing any others, she must be tired of it now.I know I would be.

Harry will die. I think JK said she will do this on purpose so that no future writer can steal her ideas. Anyways, I hope Harry dies in the battle against Voldemort. It would be a battle so intense that both sides die.

You know, when a certain something happened at the end of the 6th book, I didn't feel moved or anything. =/

People have been saying Harry Potter will die, I don't know why but I think he will too.

Rowling's books have been somewhat grim.

I see only two possibilities to end the series.

Harry dies.
Harry and Voldemort both die.

That simple. (I don't even like harry as a character much anymore :/)

I'm not sure, Harry might die. I'm sure Voldemort will die pretty sure theres no questions about it. I think that either Harry will die or Ron and Hermione to protect Harry or vice versa, Harry will die to protect his friends. Either way it won't be a completely happy ending, it might be a successful yet sad ending.

There are only seven books, so this is the last one. I'm sure there will be some more deaths maybe from the order or from other closer characters.

-Harry will die
-Something will happen
-Harry will come back
-harry will kick Voldy's butt

For a more explained version check somewhere in the harry potter topic (I might post it myself tough) *goes to find ppost*
