To me, money can be a devil and an angel at times. Money can broke up a family, crimes rate increase but sometime, money can save a life and buy one's a little happiness

Like mikado i also think money is like a sword, a double edged sword. when you use it you can harm others, when you dont it can harm you. and vice versa.
for example. if you go out and spend, it helps the economy. but if you go out and spend on guns it helps the economy as well as harming people.
if you dont spend it is good for you as you get interest if it is in a bank, but then a golddigger can come and con you out of your money so it is bad for you.

This thread kinda useless, no offense to the maker. Why i feel it useless because like people stated, It an object, item, property. It does nothing to you. You are the hand that give/take it. You are the mind that use it. You are you, money is nothing, just a value of a trade. Buy a gun kill someone, not money fault it your fault. Don't have the money for it you go steal it. Yadada get my drift? It like alcohol it not a bad thing, until the person over drink it and does something against the law.

But money can cause a person to break. Everyone need money, but people blame that they need money so they go rob a bank and kill 2 innocent people for example. Money can be earn, just because a guy like bill gate has the mind to create window he make billion, and you think u need a billion dollar too, it not right to go rob or kill people in the process to gain money. You are what you earn, if your smart it will amke u more money if your lazy on ur ass everyday on the sofa watching cartoon network don't expect to get paid.

Conclusion, there no evil or saint in any object but the user themself. Money don't have leg or hand or a mind to talk to you to make you do bad thing.

You are not the only guy that know someone gamble. Did money put a gun to his head say gamble me Bi*ch? No. It the person own addiction that cause him to gamble. There are plenty of rich and poor people that gamble so money is not the issue to them, It there urge for addiction of the gambling not the money fault. Money does nothing to you. Money doesn't influence anything, it your mind that think u need money.
Like my last post, please read it again. I said bill gate make a billion dollars. Do you want to make billion? than go make that money, don't go rob people for it. Some people just take the easy way out of life. Just because someone make more money than you and you sit around all day doing nothing, you expect to make the same amount of money? Get real, you are what you make. If your smart you got no problem making thousand and million. If your lazy bump that live in your parent basement, than don't expect to make thousand of dollar. Theres no excuse for stealing, there are oportunities out there but people have to learn to risk themeselves and be able to sacrifice ANYTHING! Even cutting the grass of other people for some money, watch cars, paint houses, there are lots of ways to earn money! But if you let yourselve get consumed by the "theres no option" excuse and you dont realize that there do are options around on the world soon then there will be a time were there will not truly be an option for making money and progressing.

The weird thing about money is, the more you have it, the more you need it. Take me, for example: when I began my studies, I got by with very little. Nowadays, as both me and my boyfriend have at least somewhat steady income, our lifestyle has changed. We eat better, sometimes buy stuff, like games, on a whim and are able to travel if we feel like it. We have now just enough money so that we need not think about it, and this is all fine and good - but I wonder, will this trend continue? When I graduate, I'll earn a lot more. Will I cease being satisfied with what I currently have, even though right now I feel I have everything I could possibly need?

Some money is needed to fill the basic needs, and some more to get a taste of luxury every once in a while. But sure there has to be a limit, some point of wealth after which a little more doesn't add to the actual quality of life anymore.


Anyway, money is necessary in this world and there is no way around this. Having too little can have drastic effect in person's life, as can - in my option - trying to get too much. Money is the catalyst behind all kinds of troubles and tragedies. But the devil? Nah. Greed is bad, sure, but would exist even without our current conceptions of money.

though money is an object, it often brings out the worst in humans and a good deal of crime is based on money.
i see it this way: because we all have money, millions of people all around the world are dying due to poverty. if money never existed, there wouldn't be any poverty and these people won't starve and will have homes. essentially, it is money that is the root of all greed. people who rob/mug/kidnap all do it because of money, and a lot of times the incentive to murder/bully is money, from beating kids for their dinner money to killing someone to get the money they were going to earn. i believe that we could all live without money, as difficult as it may at first to organise everything, but in the end everyone would be much happier.
also, no money means that important things that were restricted before can go ahead, such as unlimited research into cancers, nobody would need to go hungry and charities would be able to help those they are trying to save, etc.
i also think money is too complicated in life nowadays. things like loans are often simple enough but stuff like tax credit is way too complex. no money would simplifly things a lot.

That's happening when you make the money you main goal, it's the excessive love for money and the greediness, they make you money's slave, if you love any thing more than the normal limit, it becomes like a possession, this is the idea, the money is a boon and we make it as a weapon .

Mtaphorically speaking Money cam be both good and bad. Our world and lives depend on money. the more you have the better off you are. those who are welthy live better, have more power, and tend to care less about those have less. Thoes who are Middle class or lower have a harder time making ends meet and tend to have less. to be in the middle class you more than likely have to work two jobs.
