I have tried that one. You need a lot of practice so it spins in your tumb and not in the air...>.<. I can only do one spin or two D:

I think not. Though I don't have anything to prove I'm right. When I do the Charge, it seems like I don't move my fingers and there is a pen spinning around my middle and ring finger. Of course I achieved this by practicing a lot. So maybe they just practiced a lot the tricks, and that's why it seems they have speed up the video. Probably I'm wrong, don't mind me XD.

Yeah, I know some pen tricks but I don't know what the are called. I can spin the pen in between my index and middle finger. I can make the pen go up and down my fingers(but I'm not as fast those guys in your vid.) and I'm working on Doing that thumbspin... I basically learned how to do it while really bored in class. For some reason, I thought only smart people could do it... obviously proving myself wrong when I figured out how to. :Haha...

It is hard at first but once you know a trick it is addicting =3 (at least for me XD)

I would recomend you to start by the ThumbAround. This trick consists of making the pen spin around your thumb 360 degrees. You can learn it form here: http://www.pentrix.com/pentix/tricks/360ThumbNormal.html

It takes a lot of practice, but it is one of the easiest tricks. Also I recomend you to see a video. Just go to youtube and put "ThumbAround" in the search bar. It really helps you to understand it better. ^___^

Nah, they just practice a lot. It isn't like only asians can spin pens that fast. Also it is very popular in Asia, especialy in Japan. ^___^

Mmm.. just try your best to bend each finger, until you can bend it. Then you go to the next finger and so on =D

But don't leave them too long. When I was doing the excercise, I bended my ring finger for like... 5 minutes, later my knuckle got hurt D:

To move my pinky independently, I just held the ring finger straight with my other hand and continued to bend my pinky finger. After a few sessions, my ring finger stopped moving itself with the pinky altogether, except on a few occassions.

I would recomend you to start by the ThumbAround, it may be hard at first, but with practice you will start doing it. After that, in no time you will master it.

whats with all these guides.. I just learnt when I was bored in class and I can do most of these 'harder' tricks.. :S I mean this is like 3 years worth of doing it.. but its not as if I was 'totally focused' on learning these tricks.

for the thumbaround, it helps to follow through with your middle finger. it should be relatively painless considering the middle finger itself is doing the main flicking action to get the pen to spin around the thumb. charge is no problem for me. sonic isn't a problem for me either although i will mess up only occasionally. everything else is too hard to do though. the ability of the pros to simply link every single move though is just bizarre in a good way.

plus the fact that there are no high quality tutorial vids out there make it difficult to learn also.

If you concentrate enough, you can do the ThumbAround more easily just keep in mind your thumb needs to be still. Otherwise, the pen will fly around the room XD.
