Special Characters

Recently, I tried to change my tittle with a special character and it didnt work.
It used to work back then not its just appear as "?". Also, I see the special characters
in posts and websites but when I try to put it on my user tittle it pops as "?" as said.
I also quoted Tanya.. with her japanese charcacters name and they all popped as ???.

Any one knows whats happening? =x

Do you have the japanese language package installed on your pc?
cuz i wanted to paste some japanese characters into my MSN name and they appeared as ''?'',but on my other computer, a new one with japanese language package i could see em so maybe thats the problem?

Edit : i don't know if this works but if you haven't installed it already here's a little guide how to do so (if you have windows)

Um. heres the thing. I used to have special characters on my tittle. I tried to change it
to something else last night and it appeared as ?. I could care less for the japanese part
but yeah. its weird that it just suddenly stopped working out of nowhere thats what im
trying to find out.

Most likely is just some problem with the fonts you wish to use, like Shinigami said, get the jap font pack if you wish to use it.

hmm. well. like i said could care less of the japanese but the other special characters
that are used for HTML are not working either...well some... sigh...飛雲 <- see how i can copy that but it wont apply for the user tittle ~___~

I was getting the same problem.

usually when I have

福岡 日本 野球 <3女孩.

the 女孩 part shows up like ?? in the usertitle.

i think the usertitle only allows a certain limit for special characters. some will show and some will not.
