Inoue and Chad...

One thing has sort of been bothering me for a while. We know Ichigo is a Shinigami and we also know that Ishida is a Quincy. What exactly are Inoue and Chad? They don't just have a decent amount of spirit power, but they also have their own unique abilities that no one else in the anime (as of this point) seems to have. They do not know any demon magic, nor do they really know how to condense their raw spirit power in to a form solid enough to really be seen. They just have these... abilities. I have a theory on Inoue, but Chad's ability leaves me completely in the dark.


Inoue Ability Theory:
Inoue's brother bought Inoue earrings from Urahara's shop. These of course, weren't just ANY kind of earrings, though. The likely case, is that Urahara (once being captain of the technological department) was actually conducting some sort of research to make a weapon for non-shinigami. Thus when Inoue recieved these earrings, she was holding Urahara's project all of that time. Perhaps the weapon itself changed, so as to fit her personality.

...As for Chad... I really don't have any ideas as to the origins of his ability. Anyone have a clue? :face82:

You are partially correct. Being around Ichigo awakened their spiritual power. Had they not been around him, they would have never discovered these powers. It didn't specifically give them their abilities. Think of it this way. Ichigo's younger sisters have been around him far longer... and still have no kind of power like that. Sure, they are younger... but they NATURALLY had spirit power and were around Ichigo far longer.

I just don't understand where these unique powers (especially Chad's) comes from. Perhaps they are a new kind of "Hollow Hunter", like a Quincy?

Well, I imagine that Death gods must operate around the world. Maybe Chad is sort of the Mexican equivalent of a quincy?

well ichgo sister already has her own spirts force so the extra from ichgo would not affect her much(she been able to see ghost a long time) as for ino and chad they just high power spirts i'm sure after all death god and quincy not the only power in the after life besided hollows. after all the captains and the like seem to know some spirts have dangerous powers other wise why bother keep security squards in the court of pure souls all the time. like teh siba clan(i think i spelled that right) that one lady seem to beable to control fire wiht little use of demon magic it was second nature to her, unless it was a big spell. i'm sure we see other poeple in time with diffent odd end powers.

Maybe Chad has some kinda of higher calling behind his arm, something like his whole body can transform after a certain ammount of time or certain height of power? - That'd be pretty cool :)

That's a possibility, especially with Kubo's tendency to progressively make characters stronger.

Chad and Inoue are called "Human Advents." They have these power due to Ichigo's spirit force that has presumably awaken their spiritual power. Ichigo's sister is also a Human Advent due to the fact that she can learn something from a spirit by just looking at it (ie. The Unlucky Bird/Shiba-chan).

In theory, all those "rescued" by Ichigo as a Shinigami may become Human Advents. Heck, even Tatsuki can be one as well.

As you may recall, Ichigo is not "normal." In a sense he has an amazing ability even without undergoing training. Maybe, just maybe, he can also give powers to humans but he does not know how to do it. It will just instictively come out.
