Which season do you like best?

Hey everybody!

I'm curious about what your favorite season may be..

(please, also state the reason why you chose the option you chose)

I'll start:
Every season.... Cause they all have something special that I love..., I love summer, because of the sun (hm.. couldn't have guessed that huh? ), the winter because the snow is really fun to play in, the spring ("love is in the air" *sings*) and the autumn with its rich colours.

So. what is your favorite season?

A tough one.

I change my favorite season every year :).

Right now it is probably spring (or summer), but in some years I like winter (or fall) the best due to snow, snow, and more snow. I feel sorry for all you people who don't get snow, and I am jealous of all you people in the Sierra Nevada and up in Mt. Rainer. You get too much snow!!!

I love the snow. It is great!
Although we have like snow 3 days up to 2 weeks a year and that is far to little (lives in the southern part of scandinavia)!
But then again, the summer is awsome as well :P

I can't choose between the winter and summer.. I love summer because it's hot and you can go swimming and chilling at the beach (well not where i live but on vaction) and the winter is awesome as well because of the snow, ice and everything seems more... ehmm.. cozy lol =p so I love sun, but i also love darkness, yeah doesn't make sense, I can't explain =( I don't really like spring or fall cuz when its fall it always rains where i live and spring.. i hate spring dunno why

Autumn, it's nice and cool, it's Football season, and the color of leaves changing (although raking them isn't much fun) :whatevah:
I also like winter because of the snow.

I like fall/winter times. One because it's colder, and it rains and I love both those two. I can't sleep when it's hot.

Another is things are calmed down and people are a bit more mellow during the cold seasons.

-I do not get cold easily, but in summer I get hot and sluggish

I love Autumn and Winter. Autumn because of all the pretty colors, but the temperatures usually feel pretty nice.

Winter because..not sure exactly, but i feel connected to it somehow.

I like the fall because thats when I usually see new shows or episodes on tv and that it's like a new adventure of another year of school. Ya that maybe cheesy but I can't wait until the fall because thats when I first go to College.

i love every kind of season. Back in England, i use to love spring and winter but now i'm in the tropical part of Asia, the Philippines, well i can say i just love rainy season. It's very hot in here when it is in the summer season.

Since in my country only have two seasons which is Summer and Rain, and i don't like hot and i love rain, so i love rain season !!! It's cool and relaxing.

I also hate spring. (hey, i lived in SoCal, and summer's FRICKIN' HOT. You can even cook an egg in the sidewalk!!!)

I only like Winter and Fall. Why? Because even tho it doesn't snow here, IT RAINS. Those two season are the rainiest of all. if ever happens, why can't we have rainy season???? It would be fun!!! (or maybe just like in indonesia, ICE SEASON! [tho when the ice hits your head, it hurts LIKE HELL.]) sorry for the long explanation.

Autumn and winter. I love the leaves changing colors, I love the feeling that it's getting colder as opposed to hotter, and I LOVE ice and snow! I also love everything seeming so bare (brown and yellow.)

I absolutely can't stand the other two. I hate the heat, I hate humidity, I hate the tornadic storms of Spring, and I hate bugs.

I probably like summer the best - it's the time to travel and, as already pointed out, to eat ice cream. Beaches, I don't like that much. Too hot is too hot, also. Still, summer is the most carefree time of the year, so.

But I also love autumn rain, soft snow in winter and frozen trees and even springtime, when days get longer and people slowly start to smile.

Winter. A bit of warm days and cool days is good for me too, but I hate summer. Too warm, too many insects, like flies, which are active during that time pisses me off. And having warm nights which equals sleepless nights annoys me too.

Autumn. A lot of colours everywhere, the weather is awesome, chilly and sometimes a bit rainy, and staying at home with your friends/gfs/bfs/whatever is really nice sometimes, with the rain hitting the window =)

Summer is nice too, because the girls start to wear less clothes...

Winter, its cold. I enjoy drawing things in winter, it sets up a great scenario, especially when I go up to places like San Fransisco or Sacramento. It also gives you a chance to cuddle up with someone.

Summer is my favorite season because I love swimming and wakeboarding. Yet winter is my 2nd favorite because of snowboarding :)

In order from favorite to least favorite: Autumn, winter, early spring, and summer.

Autumn: It's cool and relaxing. Yes, school starts for me around this time, it sucks, but seeing the maple leaves really pacifies my soul.

Winter: It's cold (I like chilly climates, and it doesn't get very cold where I live). Hmm... winter break! Christmas! New Year!

Spring: I only like early spring because that's when the peach blossoms bloom. I have one in my backyard and it's really pretty when they bloom. It's a shame they only last two weeks, though. For the rest of spring, it just gets too hot.

Summer: I don't like this season except for the fact that there's no school, but I usually take summer school for credits anyways. It's unusually hot here, and most of the time, I have difficulty sleeping at night because of the heat. In addition, the crickets chirp like crazy in my backyard, making everything very loud.

Well no snow in winter, leaves don't necessarily change colors, gusts don't swim in for no reason. It's a big miss on the temperate lifestyle.

The Wet season is sort of the good one, no water crisis, our miniature gardens can flourish, and the sky actually has feeling during this time. It basically occurs when all the showers and winds start to face the northern equator, the dry season in an already dry dessert is simply dispicable.

My favourite season has to be Autumn (the beginning of autumn to be precise, cause at the end the leaves are rotting on the ground and that's plain ugly), followed by Winter (when I don't get sick, that is...) and the beginning of Spring (when it's not too hot and the nature regains her usual beauty~). :)

Yeah, I've been there two months during summer vacation last year, not too hot, not too cold. Delicious weather (except for Bergen where it rains so much! :eek13: )
