its nice but you know what an ipod is an ipod i have a 3rd gen 15 gig ipod that works just as good as anyone elses, and mine has a 30 gig hd installed in it due to guides online that ONLY work with older gen ipods so which one is better? i guess its personal opinion but mine works just as good as my friends and he has a photo ipod, only difference is color.....still plays music just the same heh.

I have to buy this! I’ve always wanted an ipod but have always found them a little bulky to haul around, especially with my active lifestyle. I'm so happy now... hmmm... I've heard a lot of bad things about the Nano... personally, I'd get another Mini..it's as small as you need it to be, and the screen is much stronger (the Nano's screen scratches up like hell... a lot of people I know have had the thing scratch up to where it was unreadable IN ONE MONTH). Apple was rumored to be issuing a recall on them, actually.

So no, don't get one. If you must have a small iPod, then get the small, STURDY, iPod mini.

If you've got one, then I suggest you buy a nice case for it, or buy some of that plastic stuff that you can use to cover cellphone screens, etc... ESPECIALLY if you plan on carrying it in your pocket.

I really do hate iPods, whether they are nano or video iPods, it's all a poorly constructed device with a bunch of proprietary pieces. Replacing the battry shouldn't void the warranty on anything.

but I guess it's better than a Windows Media player, Windows Media format is like putting a speaker underwater and recording the gurgling with a low quality microphone.

I'll stick with the neuros, those things are great, everything is upgradable on them, harddrive can easily be swapped, the firmware can be upgraded to play most audio formats, and other crap.

What mp3 player did you get instead? the nano is alright, but I already have something like that. If I knew the nano was coming I would have waited but it's all good.

Personally, I don't really like the Nano. It's too small and it's come to the point where you can easily lose it. Also, the storage size is too small. Personally, I like something with a larger storage volume. The iPod Videos or color 20gigs, are substantially larger and can fit more songs.

I hate Ipods, i got a creative zen sleek 20gb. The ipods break too easy. my MP3 allows you to format the HDD into a USB removable HDD for your PC. and if someone wants to search it for summin' (anything you shouldn't have) you can format it in seconds.

Give that one a meadal! why does no-one else recognise the failings of Apple? Sony need a nu plan aswel, all the nice technology is being wasted by the "no share" policy. Im a creative person myself, and apples just.... ewww.

It is very sexy. I was going to buy one, but then I had all this money laying around in the bank, so I bought a normal iPod. It's pretty cool, but I wouldn't miss the videos too much and I don't have enough songs. But I still like having all that space. All that wonderful space! Ah ahaha ah!

For sure the nano looks much better than the mini but the nano isnt sexy. It looks like when you put it in your pockets they could snap like a twig any second when you sit down. Nano for $200 for what, 4-5 gigs? id just spend 100 more for the ipod video 20 gig.

I have an iPod nano and I think it's sexy! It can only hold up to 4 GB, but I'm not complaining since I'll never use that much. And anyway, it has colour, notepad, contacts list and lots more. It's way better than my brother's mp3 and my mother's Creative Zen one.
