wow, I had a really detailed opinion on this episode last night, which I expressed to Kyle when he popped online. Holy Cow! I think I fell in love with his voice more, as I told him, he's stole my heart once again with that voice!
Kira's getting better, he's adjusted and now sound more natural, before I really didn't like it. Ichimaru still bugs me, he's too proper.
Hitsugaya Toushiro..what can I say about that guy, I'm still iffy on that voice. I'll wait it out though until the first time he summons Hyourinmaru, it usually takes me a few episodes of listening to the voice to decide on whether I like it or not.
Seeing Ichigo get sucker punched with that left hook from Ganju was hilarious, hearing John's voice only made it funnier. looks like we get ep 35 next week, then there's a one week break before the story continues. We're quickly approaching the zaraki fight which I'm really looking forward to. (and no this isn't a spoiler so I don't get in trouble, just saying, it's coming up)

I really like this episode. Ganju's voice pwned. Hanatarou is either getting better or I'm getting used to him. Aizen's voice pwned as well. Hinamori's was great. Toshirou's was ok.

While the dub actor for Byakuya has the perfect voice and keeps his voice low like the original seiyuu, the dub actor sometimes goes out of character and raises his voice too much, like in the beginning of episode 20. In episode 34 its the first time that Byakuya in the original gets a little pissed off, and even then he doesn't raise his voice that much at all, has the the dub actor compltely screwed up that scene by having byakuya shout or raise his voice way too much?

edit: nevermind, just got it from megadownload, didn't realise it would download so fast, anyway, byakuya raises his voice like in episode 20, as long as he only goes that high until the end of episode 58 I guess I'm happy.

Yeah, the dub version of Byakuya definitely sounds more pissed, which threw me off a bit. I haven't quite warmed up to him yet, but in general the voice acting in this series is really good.

How can he be on of your favorite characters? He hardly did anything in the show? Kinda just showed up and died without doing much.
This episode was pretty good. We finally see some of the politics unraveling. There was a few secdons of action when renji was practicing, but of course their should have been more. I had a feeling someone was going to die when they allowed full useage of the zanpaktous and spirit engergies. It seems like there's a rebellion going on. VA's for bleach are generally great, compared to other dubed anime series that is.

Hitsugaya's voice is a bit too old for him. It bugs me. Even just a little less deep would be nice, really.
Hinamori's is actually one of the better voices I've heard - you can hear the emotions change as she talks, which somehow seems to be in short supply with a few other characters.
Kira sounded too whiny (or nasally) in the flashback, it got annoying.
I'd say this was a well-dubbed episode all-in-all though.

I like the raw version of Hitsugaya's voice. I cant stand Gin!!! He freaks me out. Byakuya I liked the voice, and he did sound more pissed. Ichigo getting laid out was great!
