The voice acting in this one was really good. It sounded like there was more emotion than usual.
Hinamori's is one of my favorite voices - it changed tone when it needed to, all the screaming was done right, and the pronunciations were accurate.
Hanatarou's as well seems ro accomplish that. Man, I love that little guy, with his big bad pills. x3
Kyouraku's though...His tone remained the same through the entire time he was talking, even when he was flirting. That got annoying.
I can't tell if I like Nanao's voice yet or not. When she first spoke it sounded nasally, and I'm afraid that it'll sound like that again later on. But I do know I don't like Kira's voice.

Very nice episode, Kenpachi had arrived.....
LOL Hanatarou was brilliant in this ep, his voice was perfect and he's slowly becoming one of my fave characters =-]
also, i could do with one of those pills, we want!

damn the Chad references used here were quite enchanting, awesome
Now about Kyouraku
Voice acting wasn't too good, it doesn't represent that passion of his to dive straight into a bed, nor his masculine elegance. The young adult actor was extremely noticable.
His english speech though was blown out of proportion! 'I love it when you treat me cold', 'old men don't like to lose face', I'm certainly interested in what he's going to blurt out next, unlike Kenpachi who you just want to silence and fight already.

Well it definately wasnt a bad effort, I think there dubbing it relatively well.

this ep cracked me up, I loved Hitsugaya's voice. Usually I'm not sure after 1 ep what I think of a certain voice, so I waited for this ep and I really am becoming attached. Hinamori's VA really brought out her emotions perfectly!
the reason I laughed my head off was Ichigo and Hanatarou. Ichigo giving Hanatarou knucklesandwiches reminded me of Johnny big time! I've been told I'm getting a knucklesandwich from him a couple times! LOL!
I've seen all the subs and the upcoming Kenpachi/Ichigo fight is one of my favorites, not sure if it's the fight or Ichigo's scenes with Zangetsu and the understanding they come to in order for them to work together and win the fight. Too bad thanks to a dumb Futurama marathon, we don't get ep 36 next week. I'm really looking forward to Kyle's voicing for the letter to Hinamori.

I think it was a decent ep..it had some great funny parts mostly and Chad kickin butt and having a aswome dream too

Not very good so far, they completely screwed up Izuru's zanpaktou release, raise your head, Wabisuke-Wabisuke means to apologise, not only did they not actually mention the zanpaktou's name, by shouting "AND PREPARE TO DIE!!" they completely changed the meaning.

Kyouraku's voice was much better in japanese. Much more emotion and kinda sexy as well.
I loved Hitsugaya's voice in Japanese more as well. The voice didn't fit as well as I thought it would have.
Kenpachi oh yeah!!! Love this fight.
I wish they would use reatsu instead of soul pressure. And I wish the would use the real names and give the meaning in english subbed.

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhh...my ears.
Why do the lower budget animes like Samurai Champloo and Inuyasha have better voice-acting than series like Bleach and Naruto.
Naruto's dub has gotten better, but Bleach's is just awful.
Between Hitsugaya and Gin's voice I could barely concentrate on the story.
The episode is good though and does mark the start of the Kenpachi arrrival. Too bad you'll have to listen to it with headphones on.
Kyouraku's voice wasn't so good... but I like his humming.
Hitsugaya's voice is still weird...
Other than that, everyone else is cool.

Action, humor, drama, flashbacks, yeah it's all there..

Is Ogichi going to be voiced by JYB? If so, I think he'll do ok; he's voiced some crazy characters before.

No, you're not the only one. I definitely noticed when Wabisuke wasn't named, but it didn't bother me as much as the fact that Kira sounded really serious about killing Hinamori. I never got that "intent to kill" feel from Kira when watching the sub. Funny enough, this is the opposite of episode 18 when they revealed Zangetsu's name when they weren't supposed to, and again longtime fans got pissed. Oh well, Wabisuke's name will be revealed later...hopefully.

Yeah, I heard that. I didn't make such a big deal out of it, but I was upset because I am a fan of Kira and Wabisuke... Hopefully, Wabisuke's English name isn't going to be just "die".

But then the June schedule shows that weekdays will begin to show the past Bleach

[AS] had a bump about anime on Sci-Fi, they said they'd counter with Family Guy. Meh at least it's a Futurama marathon can't complain about that.

Damn this was one of the best ones yet! One of the best moments has to be when Hinamori snaps and attempts to attack Gin. Her voice rung with so much emotion; anger and what looks like insanity. You could practically feel her pain. Kira's voice is fine so far, but it's a little to deep for his character. Hanatarou seems to be getting better too.

Meh I don't really have any complaints about dubbed episode 35. The only voices that still sounded wierd are Hitsugaya, who now sounds like a 15 year old, and Kyoraku, who totally lacks his Japanese etchism and pervert characteristics. Other than that all the voices were quite good. I never watched Episode 35, or 34 for that matter in Japanese anime, and so I'm not really familiar with all the Japanese dialogue, so any changes apart from the ommission of Wabisuke don't make a big impact onme.
